Miscarried 22nd October at 6/7 weeks and starting to try again this month, so cycle 1 as I had the mini pill for one month until I was ready

Hi all!!! New on here !!

I have very random cycles - 42 days with no idea when I’m actually ovulating. I had my period December 28th, and am now seeing positive pregnancy test??? Help!!

Hi @flowersandsun ! Welcome. That photo is quite small so I can't quite see but it does look like there could be a faint line. Are you sure it was your period on Dec 28th? It could have been implantation if it was fainter than usual.

@crumbsinthecarpet CD11 for me (almost snap @whatsthecraic !) I haven't had an OPK yet but my cervix is high and soft so think I'm gearing up. Glad it's held off as I was paranoid about early ovulation a few days ago! Just goes to show that paranoia does nothing 🤦‍♀️

Thanks! I’ve just done another test waiting for it to run through. My period was a little lighter than usual with wierd discharge before (never happens to me) but it Was sufficiently heavy for a day or two to be able to say it was a period! I’m so confused. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago so thinking maybe another one x

Ignore green test that’s OPK, although I can clearly see a line darker than the top ones (yesterday) I do think it’s a false positive. Some googling has revealed these tests to be notorious for it :(

@flowersandsun I definitely see a line , you should maybe wait a few days and try a frer or clearblue?

Done a Tesco test and the line is thinner than control but defo there, it is also about my 50th pee of the day so I didn’t expect much to come up! Just don’t know what’s happening because I 1000% had my period December 28th :( x

@flowersandsun why don't you get down to the doctor and ask if they can do some blood tests and maybe a scan to get an idea of what's going on? If it was only a day or 2 of bleeding it doesn't sound long enough to be a period or are yours short?

It was a very different period but not blood loss wise, just discharge very different. 6 days! Plus, if that was implantation bleed my tests would be dark by now?? I’m having on off “tight” type feeling twinges in right side?? X

@Flowersandsun it looks and sounds like you're pregnant! The IC test lines are getting darker over time, and if you got it on the Tesco as well it sounds like it's a done deal. Maybe make a doctors appointment and discuss the bleeding with them?

It would be amazing and I know they say your odds are the same after 1 miscarriage but I can’t help but worry!!!

We were planning to try SMEP but our toddler has been waking up in the evenings so we haven't managed to DTD the last two evenings so will have to make up for it this weekend 🤨

Pretty sure I am going to ovulate in the next few days so better get on it!

Wow, sorry to hear you're having such a long wait! It's bad enough when it's only a TWW! Maybe make an appointment to see the GP?

@urbansloth we are in the same boat. Got my first positive opk this morning so mad dash for least romantic dtd before the monitor went off

Will see if we get enough sleep to carry on the next few days and then the tww begins! It’s so unsexy it’s hilarious.

I am currently irrationally angry because OH has decided to stay out late tonight and due to bad toddler sleeping there's a chance we won't get to BD and this makes me anxious!!!! Grrrr. We BD last night and we can still BD tomorrow but even so!

@urbansloth still no af, looked back at this mornings test ( I know that's naughty as it's after the valid time ) and I'm probably imagining a line 🙄🙄 I'm cycle day 41 of a "usual" 34, Between maybe 10 - 12 dpo, and I've still been I know tmi but checking cm and cervix as apparently if you've conceived your cervix is soft rather than firm? Anyway, it's soft and some lotiony cm, also lots of cramps, and 2 dreams of positive pregnancy tests, the hope is unreal I just hope I'm not disappointed

Admittedly hard to see on a photo, but I've got a definite faint positive!!
