@Cleozeta I'm not sure, he is 46 so a few years older than me and thinks he is too old. I guess part of it may be he saw how devestated I was after my miscarriage. He doesn't like talking about the mc though which makes things hard 😞

twinkledag · 21/11/2019 17:47

Period cake today ☹️

twinkledag · 22/11/2019 10:11

That should read period came - period cake sounds a bit gross 😂

Starlight39 · 22/11/2019 11:01

Sorry @twinkledag, hope you're OK. I read it as "Period. Cake today" - the cake bit sounds a good plan in any case!

@MaryShelley1818 hope you have a busy weekend! It must be good to know it's a really fertile time.

I'm 8 dpo, still waiting. But had some great news last night - my ex finally, after 7 years separated and years of chasing (and him now living with the OW), posted the signed divorce papers through my door!

KediKat · 22/11/2019 17:30

Since getting my BFP last week Wednesday it has been a very long 10 days. At first i was worried that the HPT line was very faint so i repeated again on fridays and it was still faint. At the same time I was feeling rotten with cold, coughing and sneezing that I went to see my GP whom reassured me that I probably just had a viral infection and my chest was clear (i'm asthmatic so i need to make sure it was clear). He also reassured me that a BFP is positive regardless of how faint and not to worry. I retested again on Monday (i just needed to see a stronger line) and I got a stronger line on the first response and got 1-2 weeks on Clear Blue. This made me happy but it didn't last very long. I started to have brown blood (sorry if TMI) only when i wiped, but this increased every time i went to the loo. And by early evening I started to bleed. At first I didn't freak out and thought i have no pain so maybe it would stop but it didn't. Next morning i woke to severe cramping unable to get out of bed and a pain on my right side. I went to EPU on Wednesday and had a scan which they didn't expect to show very much at 5.3 weeks but the scan showed a clear/empty uterus no sign of a pregnancy but that i had ovulated from left and the right side, i had bloods taken to check levels as now they suspected ectopic pregnancy. today 48 hours later my second bloods show levels low enough to confirm my pregnancy has ended and resolved it self. I still feel ill and rough and completely disappointed, this is my second loss this year. I am 44 and feel that it will never be time.... 😢

twinkledag · 22/11/2019 18:19

Oh Kedi I'm so sorry 😔

Russkispy · 22/11/2019 19:15

@KediKat I'm really sorry to hear it! It's pretty much the same happened to me 3 weeks ago. Although I was only 4w5d or so. First of all they couldn't see pregnancy and it was of unknown location and then they had to rules ectopic. Thankfully it wasn't! And all resolved by itself. Hope you're fully supported by your husband/partner. Oh and I'm 43. And it was our first DE FET cycle.
And now I'm getting nag ready for hysteroscopy and ERA tests at my clinic next month and trombophilia test.
Sending you big hugs.

claireb707 · 22/11/2019 19:50

@KediKat I’m so very sorry. Thinking of you xx

Welcome @claireb707 - good luck and hope you have a lovely holiday, sounds amazing x

@Chatbash72 and @Starlight39 yep we certainly did!! We’ve actually got a night away tomorrow night too for our first Wedding Anniversary so that’ll be good timing too! We’re staying on a converted double decker bus and have a hot tub too! Can’t wait. Great news on the divorce papers Starlight xx

Mystie · 23/11/2019 13:43

@KediKat I'm so sorry x

Starlight39 · 23/11/2019 14:45

So sorry @KediKat, thinking of you and sending hugs.

Enjoy your night away @MaryShelley1818, it sounds amazing and great timing.

Welcome @claireb707. The cruise over Christmas sounds great. Do you have to leave ttc a while after due to Zika virus?

I’m 9dpo but seem to only have a 10/11 day luteal phase so half expecting my period tomorrow. Feeling a bit crampy which could be good or bad! I’ve got a new battery for my thermometer to temp next month if needed.

claireb707 · 23/11/2019 14:49

Hi
Yes 3 months after returning. We get back on 8th Jan.
I'm looking forward to going but also wish we weren't as its delays our chances

BooseysMom · 23/11/2019 20:15

@kedicat. So sorry to hear of your loss Flowers

@KeepingTheFaith9. Lovely to hear from you! Has it really been that long? I will always remember your msg about keeping the faith! And every time i read your name i would sing Bon Jovi, Keep the Faith. Which of course i'm doing again now! Grin

Liissaa · 23/11/2019 22:58

@KediKat I am so sorry. My heart aches for you. Sending love xx

NicLondon1 · 24/11/2019 19:01

@KediKat So so sorry for your loss. What you described is exactly what's happened to me too, twice this year.... somehow, we just have to pick ourselves up and keep going. Don't give up!

Welcome @claireb707

Starlight39 · 26/11/2019 09:41

I'm CD1 today. Feeling a bit sad but trying to look forward to going away with DS at the weekend. I got pregnant the first cycle after my first MC so I was sort of hoping I'd be pregnant really quick again after my MC in Sept. I think my hormones are doing something weird still as I haven't had sore boobs before this period or the previous and before my last MC, I always had sore boobs a few days before.

Hope everyone else is doing OK. Thinking of everyone going through a tough time.

Catclock · 26/11/2019 14:45

Hello ladies, I keep reading up on everyone's progress but rarely post as I have very little to report usually.... I've been very regular throughout my life (28 day cycle, usual signs throughout) but I'm bleeding quite heavily atm a week after my last period. I don't think I ov this month and I'm reading it as an anovulatory cycle & breakthrough bleed (assuming this btw).
Anyone else had experience of this? And is this Agnus Castus any good? Or bad when ttc..? :-/
I never seem to feel on top dough. Blimmin hormones.
I'm 43.
Xx

Liissaa · 26/11/2019 15:39

Hi @Catclock this happened to me early in October. I was 3 weeks into my cycle and had a really sudden heavy bleed which I ended up in a&e with. I was seen by emergency gynae and they said dysfunctional uterine bleeding, but basically described annovulatory bleeding. I’ve been eating a Mediterranean diet since then, exercising lots and taking Maca to try and settle the hormones down. It’s 6 months since my miscarriage so it’s gone on a long time, although I was 12 weeks pregnant when I miscarried. I hope you get sorted and some answers. If it’s any consolation, it only happened once and no more xx

Catclock · 26/11/2019 16:13

Thanks @Liissaa
I suppose everything will be described as dysfunctional after 40 won't it! It is crazy how these things just creep up on us though isn't it. I've not heard of Maca before? I'll have a Google.
I'm so sorry to read you miscarried xx

Catclock · 26/11/2019 16:16

Ooooooh just had a Google. Looks good! How do you take yours @Liissaa

Liissaa · 26/11/2019 16:59

@Catclock I tried the powder in smoothies but I didn’t like it so now I just take a capsule 3 times a day with meals until I ovulate. Then I live in hope of a pregnancy and you shouldn’t take it when pregnant so I don’t after that. Something seems to be working as it’s not happened again. The doctor strongly recommended a Mediterranean diet for fertility over 40 xx

Chatbash72 · 27/11/2019 11:36

@Catclock I have been a regular 29-31 day lady, pinging off the very early egg, have now for the last 2 cycles now a late ov, last cycle had a very early m/c and just ov now and day 24 in cycle.. she keeps us on our toes does mother nature.. congratulations on the divorce @Starlight39. Love and baby dust to all 💕💕💕

Thank you all for your kindness and caring words, they mean alot.
@Russkispy @NicLondon1 is this more common when one is 40+? I wont give up and try not to lose hope. The nurse said i should get next period in 4-6 weeks then try again, but i'm not waiting that long, my bleeding has stopped and have no pain so we continue trying (not that i know when i am ovulating) I don't see why i would wait 4-6 weeks?

Chatbash72 · 27/11/2019 13:37

@KediKat they only want you to wait that long for their dating purposes.. but if you feel up to it... go for it... you are supposed to be more fertile.. xxx
