MATTSMAMMA · 23/07/2020 09:09

@MaryShelley1818 Congratulations Grin how lovely and good luck with the results. Just wanted to make you aware your Real name etc is visible in your scan photo? Apologies if you know but just in case. So pleased for you x

Springroll89 · 23/07/2020 09:40

Springroll89 · 23/07/2020 09:41

Thinking of you @SomnolentSekhmet xx

HouseOfRunners · 23/07/2020 11:14

Hi,
You seem a very close group but can I join in?
I’m 43 and TTC naturally.
Had DD at 38.....utter shock as had been through 3 x IVF cycles (2 x MMC and 1 x BFN) because of PCOS + completely blocked, twisted and damaged tubes - confirmed by lap + dye test.
Our consultant asked to be bleeped to come and deliver her on his day off as he still can’t believe she was naturally conceived 😄
Anyway! Here I am, ovulation due tomorrow or next day....using OPK etc.
Bit scared at being 43 and DD still rarely sleeps through....lots of worries but stupidly mostly about what other people will think 🤦🏽‍♀️
xx

SomnolentSekhmet · 23/07/2020 11:52

Hi and welcome! I'm 43 too, had my youngest at 38 who still sleeps in our bed 6 nights outta 7 so it could be worse xD. I'm 7 weeks atm and assuming this goes ahead, dreading telling my mum as she seems to think families should be done by the ages of 30.

HouseOfRunners · 23/07/2020 12:06

Thank you @SomnolentSekhmet for the welcome ❤️ And MASSIVE congratulations to you. What wonderful news!!

My DD ends up in with us too 🤦🏽‍♀️ She’s lovely and cuddly and I’m trying to make the most of the cuddles before she grows into a moody teenager!
My mum is who I’m worried about too - god we will ever not worry about their opinion?! She thought 38 was too old too but as we’d been through IVF without success she was naturally over the moon for us when DD was conceived.
My sister is another one....I said that DH was feeling broody to test her reaction and she said “god, rather you than me at your age!” and shuddered 😬

SomnolentSekhmet · 23/07/2020 16:57

As expected, not good news. I was temping so know I'm 7 weeks but scan only showed a massive yolk sac and tiny fetal pole, dating me to not even 6 weeks. Pretty much an exact copy of my last MMC, not sure what to do next tbh.

Oh I'm so very sorry (hugs). Temping gives you ovulation but not implantation dates so could you have implanted late? 7wks is still very early. Are they rescanning you? Xx

Thank you! I hadn't realised xx

SomnolentSekhmet · 23/07/2020 19:28

I had my first positive at 10dpo so I think it's highly unlikely I'm 6 not 7 weeks. This is basically a copy of my last unsuccessful pregnancy so I was pretty sure it wouldn't be viable. I wasn't offered a second scan but I think I'll head to the GP in a few days if the spotting continues. Best of luck to everyone else :)

Chatbash72 · 24/07/2020 08:24

@MaryShelley1818 congratulations 💕💕💕💕
Welcome ladies, @HouseOfRunners and any other ladies I've missed..
I love snuggles, enjoy they group up too quickly.. and mothers are over opinionated 🤣 and families too... mine included.. I was hoping I might fall preg over lockdown so I could hide throughout it.. but my attitude has changed slightly.. would just be thankful to fall preg for a start.. my cycle is a little all over the place.. had some bleeding on day 8-11 of cycle.. so I have no idea where I am..
hot flushes all the time.. not massive so I'm wondering if the hormones are in free fall.. which after 2 consecutive miscarriages is not a surprise.. we are still dtd every couple of days throughout my cycle.. just because we feel like it.. changed my vits a little.. no preconception vits just folic acid and co enzyme q10 but stronger strength so less tablets.. might add some stronger omegas to it... I'll see.. sending big hugs and baby dust to all.. I might need to make a new thread in a little bit.. could you all try to add your names so I don't forget anybody to tag moving over 💕💕💕💕💕💫💫🙏🙏

I am thinking of trying FERTILITYSMART CONCEIVE FOR WOMEN. i just ordered it online on their website, saw a lot of reviews, not much negative apart from it doesn't work for them, others were good. especially the over 3o and 40s. I am 49 i have one son 21, 2 miscarriages .. so i am down to my last hope, i am a firm believer and i hope it will work. Will update once i receive and start using, good luck everyone. especially in this trying times. covid is not helping either. people morals, mental state is all over which is not good for our body. love you all keep pushing. thots... M xx

Eiremogra · 19/12/2020 19:59

Hi all, I am booked in for X-ray+dye of Fallopian tubes at the end of January..I’m so anxious about it all tbh. The pain, the possible bad news...etc etc. Can anyone share their experiences with me? I’ve been advised to take pain killers before the procedure, really dreading it :( I’m scared of the test outcome..what options are available to me and OH if my tubes are knackered!!! Can we still be referred for IVF through the NHS? All advice and experiences would be very welcomed!! Thanks ladies 💕
