Hello ladies, congratulations to the bfps and sending big hugs to those who have lost little beans..
bleeding was really heavy for a few days, actually took myself off to bed.. but tailed off and I think I'm ov !! Seems a bit early but am going to go with it as my body seems to be all over them place..
be gentle with yourselves ladies 💕💕💕

@TheFoz, I'm really sorry to hear about your miscarriage too. Will you be offered recurrent miscarriage testing where you are?

@MaryShelley1818, don't feel that you have to leave. A few others have stayed for the first few weeks/months of their pregnancy to get support as it can be a pretty anxious time.

So I had my scan today and there was nothing really left of the pregnancy. I've got to go back for more blood tests on Thursday just to check it wasn't growing in the wrong place. I'm just relieved to know for sure it's a miscarriage. You read so many stories about ladies bleeding but then having happy outcomes. I've been living on false hope for a few days. Anyway, I've been told to wait for my next AF before ttc again but then I'll be jumping back on the carousel.

My ovaries started going bonkers 8 days after m/c so we just went for it... 🤞🤞 and both sides were twinging... who knows what my body is doing but dtd just in case

Thanks @Chatbash72. The advice from the hospital was to wait a full cycle before trying again but as soon as the bleeding has definitely stopped I'm going to get on with ttc again. It's not like I'm getting any younger. My cousin has just announced she's pregnant and although I'm thrilled for her it makes my mc a bit harder.

Welcome @Sunnydays123456. ☺ I'm not entirely sure but I think there are at least three ladies on here who are the same age as you. Also, I've seen a couple of threads on the pregnancy board recently where people who are 46 or 47 are pregnant. One lady was 50, which was amazing. x

@Sunnydays123456 🙋‍♀️ yup that would be me.. I'm 47.. still trying.. have been for 4.5 years.. had a m/c at 9 weeks back then.. chemical preg in Nov.. m/c 2 cycles ago at 5 wks 5 days and had a m/c last cycle 7 weeks +2 days.. on loads of vits I rattle 🤣 but still believe 🙏

I haven’t been testing actually but have had a couple of v late periods in last few cycles too - wonder if that was anything

Any tips from over 40s? Is it just super fertile that get pregnant over 40? I so desperately want a third and last baby but I just feel it's not going to happen for me (turning 41 shortly) had ivf for my previous two although no major problem identified apart from crappy sperm which is looking so much better now but still don't feel positive after all we've been through. My initial reaction is to jump straight back into another few rounds of ivf even though we can't afford it but before it's too late and I don't even have that choice!

I think if it was me I would def frreeze eggs .. I had my last pregnancy at 37 (happy accident ) - dunno how fertile I am 10 years on .. apart from periods are the same cycle as ever ..

Hmmm I think if we were going to the trouble of getting the eggs out we would just fertilise them there and then but I see what you mean if you hadn't met your partner at that age then would make sense. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and part of the reason I don't want to be looking back regretting things. If we did another few rounds of ivf it would cost nearly £15k and we just don't have that money, not even on a credit card now so as much as I want to just do it as that's what I've always done I can't see how we can now and I'm trying to be more sensible and tell myself we should try naturally and if it's meant to be then it will, but in a couple of years time when it hasn't happened I know I will probably regret it.

@lucieloos true -hmmmm well if you can’t do ivf then best give best shot (hehe) naturally . I think am way too late to conceive but am thinking that fate will decide !

Hi @anaconda76 thank you for thinking of me. That's very kind xx I'm 6wks tomorrow and have an early scan booked for next Friday at 7+3.
Constantly anxious about the outcome but just keeping everything crossed xx

I'm absolutely terrified and feel completely sick about it. I can't imagine this actually working out, just doesn't seem possible. Very grateful for every day I get through xx
