@Rubyroost my sister's first child was breech, never moved from there. She had a c-section too. And her baby is now 13 and is perfectly fine !

I didn't mean I felt anyone shouldn't post btw - it's great to hear everyone's successes and definitely gives me hope, I just felt like I was intruding talking about ttc in the middle of just pages of pregnancy chat - hope that makes more sense.
Well I've had another 2 friends announce pregnancies this past week - one a complete surprise pregnancy at 40, and one planned at 42. I now have FIVE pregnant friends, 3 of them over 40 and still not even a hint of a BFP here in over a year!
My last 2 cycles were irregular so wonder if that's a sign of everything going wrong. I've got a Fertility appointment with the specialist at the hospital on the 4/2 and now DH has announced he can't make it as he's on a course at work so having to go on my own to get all the results

I'm officially in the 2 week wait after managing to DTD 7 times over the fertile week but can't imagine it's worked.
Where is everyone else in their cycles? Anyone else due end of January?

Reality - doing fine thank you, 23 weeks now and have a definite bump and lots of movement, so starting to feel real now, although still not buying anything just in case. The anxiety is still there! Hope all going well with you?
Ruby - step away from Google! It'll always give you the worst possible outcome of any situation. I've never heard about problems of beech at that stage. They'll often turn even if big, nearer the time.

To those still trying, I can't recommend TCM highly enough, I believe it really worked for me. Especially if you are perimenopausal or on that route.

I have a very high cervix which makes it hard for the sperm to get where they need to be so unfortunately I need new mechanics 😂

My cycle varies from 24 to 29 days. I'm expecting AF this week coming so probably before the end of Jan. Had some boob pains (I don't really get painful boobs) and weird feelings inside. But I've experienced every twinge imaginable in the past and it's never been anything so I am expecting AF to put in an appearance.

@Ellabb TCM is traditional Chinese medicine I think. @Cleozeta did you do acupuncture or take herbs as well?

I did accupuncure once every 2 weeks and drank Chinese herb tea twice a day. I had no luck for a year before I started this, my FSH was high and AMH low, GP had said I was very much in perimenopause. After starting TCM I had a bfp within 2 months which ended in mc, then another bfp within 2 months of starting again but mc. A year later I am now 23 weeks. It's expensive but worth it

Thanks @Cleozeta. I tried acupuncture for 4 sessions in May/June. I think she was a good practioner and when I first went in (just before turning 41) she made it sound as if I was very likely to get pregnant.

Unfortunately om having my treatment I experienced a very odd 42 day cycle and as I was taking my BBT at the time I knew I didn't get pregnant, I just ovlulated way later. She was very surprised and said no one else had ever reacted like that. She asked me to go away and get tested rather than carry on so I think she was sincere.

Tests came back ok (although FMH 10.1 and apparently it should be under 10?). The acupuncture did coincide with a very stressful period due to DH's job situation so I don't know if it was down to stress, but it's made me personally a bit wary of acupuncture although not TCM in general.

Maybe I should look into the herbs.

FSH of 10.1 is fine, that wouldn't really be considered high.
It's possible your dodgy cycle wasn't related to the acupuncture. Stress can have more of an impact on our cycles than we would imagine, especially when we get older and our hormones are more 'fragile'

I had an acupuncture session a week ago. She said to come back in 3 months if nothing has changed.

@Springroll89 Not good at all. After MC in November at 5 weeks, this pregnancy has ended the same at 5 weeks, started to cramp and bleed heavily yesterday. Back to the EPU tomorrow to check HCG level and to check it isn't ectopic/pregnancy of unknown location as before. Thank you for asking.
