Congratulations @Rubyroost and @PetraRabbit!

Everything crossed for you @KediKat

@Mystie - I don't test early now although it is really hard not to! I just find it stressful peering at possible lines or getting a BFN then having to wait till my period starts. I find at least if my period starts it feels like a fresh start and I can look forward to the next cycle.

I'm 9DPO and have a shortish LP so expecting my period on Sunday/Monday. I'm feeling a bit crampy so not too hopeful but we'll see. I'll try not to test till sometime next week if my period doesn't show!

Russkispy · 20/12/2019 19:21

@PetraRabbit congratulations! Enjoy your special bundle of joy!

@Mystie sorry for ups and downs of testing. Rubbish! And sorry you're experiencing this crap HmmThanks

Mystie · 20/12/2019 19:30

@Starlight39 @Russkispy feeling a lot better today despite no sign of af yet. No more testing for me going forward until 18dpo and only if temp is still high. This time of year is always extra emotional for me (like many others) so I'm really trying to put TTC to the back of my mind and be grateful for what I have now instead of obsessing about what I may or may not ever have.

ecostats · 21/12/2019 20:29

I'm sorry for what you're going through @Mystie, it's such an emotional rollercoaster. There is research to show that there may be a 'fertility boost' after an early-stage miscarriage as women who TTC within 3 months, go on to have more live births than those who wait more than 3 months. It's not a consolation when you're going through it or take away any of the disappointment, but it has given me a bit of hope and something positive to focus on.

MaryShelley1818 · 22/12/2019 06:58

@PetraRabbit huge congratulations, how lovely xx

@Mystie so sorry to hear that, thinking of you xx

Mystie · 22/12/2019 09:15

Thank you @ecostats that's really encouraging. Af arrived overnight which has helped me feel better. Fresh start for the new year.

Thanks for thinking of me @MaryShelley1818

Starlight39 · 22/12/2019 10:30

Glad you feel a bit better now AF has started @Mystie. I always find that helps me look ahead a bit. Hope you're OK and can enjoy Christmas a bit.

I'm still getting a few cramps so assuming AF will turn up today or maybe tomorrow. I still have that bit of hope though! I think I'll test on Tuesday if AF isn't here so that I don't have to deal with the disappointment on Christmas day and can have a couple of glasses of wine!

KediKat · 22/12/2019 22:00

Day 35 still no BFP- This morning my bbt dipped a bit and my heart sank, I’ve tried not to stress over it and hoping tomorrow it goes back up and not drop any further. And this evening I am getting pink blood when I wipe (sorry tmi) so now I am thinking I am out for this month 😢...

Starlight39 · 23/12/2019 10:44

So sorry @KediKat. Hope the pink blood is implantation. Could you have ovulated later than you thought?

I just got a tiny tiny bit of pink blood so decided to do a test thinking it'd be BFN but worth doing to just check and get my head around being out this month. But it was a faint positive! But I'm now worried it's a chemical because of the cramps and spotting. DS is about to come home from his Dad's so hopefully he'll take my mind off things.

KediKat · 23/12/2019 16:37

@Starlight39 I hope your spotting is just implantation and nothing to worry about and that your BFP is a good sign of things to come ❤️
As for me my light pink spotting turned into dark red by bedtime and I woke up to severe cramping and heavy bleeding 😢 I had done a test every day last week but it kept coming up BFN, I kept hoping ‘tomorrow will be positive’ because I had the good bbt and resting pulse rate rise very high, higher than any chart before. I kept my gp best friend up to date and she was expecting me to get a BFP but it wasn’t meant to be, also thought I could have ovulated later than I had expected. 😢

NicLondon1 · 23/12/2019 18:36

@Starlight39 Huge congrats!
I can't quite believe it but I also got a faint BFP today, at 13dpo..... still scared it might end as a chemical, but cautiously excited! I am on Aspirin, Progesterone, Heparin injections (!) and now also Steroids as of tomorrow.... all due to weird antibodies. My 41st birthday is next week too. Are you having to take anything?
Fingers crossed for both of us....!

KediKat · 23/12/2019 19:20

Congratulations @NicLondon1 @Starlight39 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻Congratulations

Starlight39 · 23/12/2019 19:29

Ah, so sorry @KediKat - it's almost worse when everything seems to be pointing to a BFP Flowers.

Congratulations @NicLondon1! That's great news (although understand the caution!) and I hope the injections and pills help. I'm taking aspirin, preceive vits and omega 3. I think I'll stop the royal jelly, bee pollen and ubiquinol now. For now, I'm just trying to think "today I'm pregnant" and not think too far ahead.

ecostats · 24/12/2019 09:08

Congratulations @Starlight39 and @NicLondon1, wonderful news!
Sorry to hear that @KediKat, drink 🍷, next year is a new start and good things will happen!

CritterTamer · 24/12/2019 11:21

Amazing to see more BFPs since I last checked in - congrats to all those with good scans and BFPs - it gives us all hope! Special congratulations @PetraRabbit - amazing news 🥰

I'm after a bit of advice ladies if anyone is used to using one step ovulation tests? I got the attached this morning after stopping breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago. I know this isn't quite positive yet but my question is how quickly will it go positive from this? Lines have been much lighter the last few days and suddenly much darker today so should I test again tonight or tomorrow? I'm not used to these, only ever used the CB digital ones before so any advice is welcome 😊
Thanks ladies!

Starlight39 · 26/12/2019 16:06

Thanks everyone! And Merry Christmas - hoping for BFPs all round in the new year.

My slight spotting has stopped and had a stronger positive on Christmas day. I'm only 15 dpo so still v v early days but trying to take things a day at a time.

BooseysMom · 27/12/2019 20:07

I echoe Critter with the congratulations to all those with BFPs. What an amazing Christmas present!
