Hi all,

A bit of an odd question to ask perhaps - but if you fell pregnant quickly, do you feel smug about it?

Please only respond if you're able to answer honestly.

Thanks

I felt immensely grateful because my dh had a test which showed low sperm count ... But we fell pregnant in one month . Just pure gratitude

No. I felt relief. We had just had an eptopic pregnancy and the leaflets we were given suggested it could take a while.

Smug? God, no. Relieved.

1st child took 1 month to conceive
2nd child took 2 months
3rd child took a year

My ages were 38, 39 and 43.

Smug...no, not at all, I felt incredibly lucky that I was able to conceive quickly.

I fell pregnant first attempt with all 3 of my children. I feel nothing but grateful, relief and sometimes a bit guilty that I never had to try when others have so much heartache. Never smug, it's not something that was in my control, it was just biology and luck.
It's also made me very fearful of accidental pregnancy.

No. Ive felt surprised and pleased, but not smug. I've got four children. I conceived 2 of them the first month of trying. But my 2 middle children took over a year. So I know what it's like to get frustrated. You can feel smug about conceiving a child quickly but that doesn't mean your next will be so easy.
