twilight surfer how weird! I really should've known with a name like yours that I couldn't possibly be the only one up!

aquababe sounds like a plan to me for ttc next cycle as I think I'm quite irregular, last cycles have been 28, 30, 36. Still have my fingers crossed for this one, but all 'symptoms' have gone, i find forward planning helps take my mind off the empty feeling

sweetkitty I tested BFN yesterday, and now I've run out of tests! Awaiting a delivery of cheapo ones from ebay. Hoping they'll turn up Tuesday or Wednesday. If AF hasn't turned up by then I'll be testing like a maniac.

pillow thing????
Explain? please. Lots of strange visionsof things you can do with pillows popping into my head!!!

As for exercise think this is a good thing as long as you don't do too much.
What are peoles thoughs on caffeine. I go back to work after the school summer hols this week and I usually get through quite a bit of coffee- shold I be cutting it out if TTC?
Didn't first time around although went off it?

You put the pillow under your bum after sex to stop any thing flowing back out.

It's a good idea to cut down on caffine when ttc, I think it's also linked to mc if you drink alot.

TwilightSurfer · 27/08/2007 13:12

DigitalGirl - You were obviously in my TWILIGHT ZONE this morning...pun intended. My dd is trying potty train herself at night (totally trained during the day) so I tend to wake when I hear her rustling about. She's so funny. She'll wander into the loo, flip on the light, then grumble that the light's too bright. Almost sounds like an old crabby lady just minus the cursing.

FOR THE RECORD, I took a stand and refused myself the opportunity to test this morning. Only a few more days...surely I can handle the wait.

josey · 27/08/2007 13:40

Afternoon ladies

Well I bought a couple of test today, though have refrained from using them, DH nearly fell over at the checkout when he realised they were in the trolly

I have been feeling really queasy today subsides slightly when I eat, and I thikn my bladder has a leak, Im also very very thirsty especially during the night. I keep telling myself that there is noway I am going to get a BFP the all of a sudden the mad little voice in the back of my head says well you could be

I also did a very typically pg thing for me yesterday and put my phone charger in the bread bin, last time i was pg i kept putting the mild in the coat cupboard

Can I hold off till tomorrow and wait till day 28???? after me saying im waiting till at least day 35

josey · 27/08/2007 13:42

sorry I meant milk (see im completely jelly brained)

Rantmum · 27/08/2007 13:46

twilight - I soooo want a dd who can potty train herself at night! she sounds adorable!

josey - am tres of your pg symptoms. today i only have dizziness, which could be because I need to eat but the chicken needs another 30 minutes.

cbcb - I just bought the first 'early response' tests to come up on ebay £3.50 for five including postage. have no idea if they're any good or not.

sweetkitty · 27/08/2007 15:05

I bought cheap ebay tests last time waste of money IMO. AF due on Friday got and ordered the tests on Thursday (I get a "feeling" when pregnant) anyway did first test Friday morning BFN, second Saturday morning BFN, third Monday morning still BFN but no AF, got CBD BFP.

With the one I've just lost got cheap Asda tests tested Tuesday (AF due Saturday I am very sad and impatient) v faint line, Wednesday v faint line, Thursday CDB BFP. So I'm an utter fan of CBD but why are they so expensive they cut out all the staring at non existent lines, throwing tests in the bin pulling them out taking them apart staring at them again etc

You ladies that refrain from testing have such willpower.

Just back from DD2's immunisation and it was full of little 8 week olds getting their first jabs, oh I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO broody I want one NOW! In fact that would be much easier just order one off the net, no tests, no morning sickness, no SPD, heartburn, BHs, feeling like a whale, labour, birth, afterpains, lochia, jellybelly erm think I've put myself off away to eat some chocolate now

Hey Ladies

Sorry not been around had such a hectic weekend although no BDing
So don't think it will work this month.

Me & DP had our palms read whilst shopping in gunwharf quays today, and both said by Dec news of pregnancy will come to light, dp said he will have 2 children in life, i will have 3 which and twins maybe a possibility.
which makes sense i already have 1, so 2 for each of us will make sense!!
Also news of a wedding will come to light in dec!

Hope everyone has had a good bank holiday weekend

x

Bellie · 27/08/2007 19:00

I didn't like the cheapies. I had a few faint false positives with them. Really not worth the money. Boots own brand are good and the twin pack is only £3.74 if you join the free health club.

sweetkitty · 27/08/2007 21:10

shrek - I got 3 negatives on the cheapies when a CBD gave me a positive and that positive is tucked up in bed now. But is saying that I'm sure there are different brands of cheapies out there I bet not all of them are crap.

Saying that I'm not ttc I was thinking today of getting some cheap opks to see if I ovulate this month

toytownmum · 27/08/2007 21:12

TMM - December is sounding very interesting!!! How are you my dear?

Don't have a good feeling about this month myself, hope everyone else is feeling more hopeful

What a DAY!!! DH is away on business and I feel like I've lost my mind. DD fussed all afternoon...obviously misses HAD. (New acronym His/Her Amazing Dad)...(oooh might not be a good idea though since HAM would be ME!!!) LOL LOL I'm obviously tired.

Three days till test day. Somehow I wish tests were under lock. All the chatter about false positives and bogus test makes me wonder if tests aren't a conspiracy. Someone's getting rich off of our need to know early.

Till tomorrow...................or sooner if having another restless night.

Bucky2007 · 28/08/2007 08:31

Twilight you should be on the other 'symptoms' thread we have already have a petition to campaign against all the 'faulty' pregnancy tests that are giving us BFNs when quite obviously all our symptoms are quite clearly telling us we are BFPs!!

I however, had to withdraw my complaint when the AF (now commonly known as TEW The Evil Witch) turned up ....

I am sitting here with the TV on in the background and that 'its all gone, its all gone' toilet roll product kid is almost a contraceptive...uh sooo annoying...

Morning ladies, I updated the roll call out of boredom!
I'm going to see the gynae dr today for my mc follow up. Hopefully he won't tell me not to ttc as dp will probably do what he says.
I've started taking my temps though I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, this early im the cycle nothing I suppose, I will also use clearblue digital opks hopefully I will get a smiley face this month!
Good luck to all of those waiting to test.

Bellie · 28/08/2007 08:45

thanks goingfor3 - I was just about to do it when I saw your post!!
Good luck at the gynae today - I am sure that they won't say don't ttc - my experience has been that they say try when you are ready.
Hopefully you will get a smiley face soon - it is a great feeling when you do - at least you know that everything is happening as it should (iyswim)

I am now using the fertility monitor as I am on cycle 9 and seeing if that helps - v expensive tho!
