@Carley321 sorry to hear about your one tube- can they unblock tubes?? I have no idea. Though as others have said it doesn't mean you can't get pregnant as you have the other one so I wouldn't be too upset, it's great your cervix looked fine so take that as a positive.

My AF arrived yesterday so rolling on to cycle 5. Had a mope yesterday but getting on with things today. OH is great at being positive. On the up side last cycle was a very respectable 32 days, my shortest yet. Nice to know I can almost fit in a cycle per month now.

Going to keep doing the same things going forward- cb digital opk, our version of smep, conceive plus, and in still trying to cut down caffeine. I'm struggling a bit with cutting back exercise (was worried I was doing too much), so might cautiously increase that again.

Hi ladies! Place marking as thinking of trying SMEP next cycle if AF shows up this month. I'm currently 3 days dpo, but not feeling overly confident. We only dtd twice this cycle as OH was away the rest of the time. A bit about me: I'm 31 TTC #1 for 18 months, had a MC in Jan 2019.

Been hearing a lot of success stories about SMEP so keen to hang around and see how everyone gets on, before potentially joining you all next cycle.

5DPO today and trying not to symptom spot as it's far too early. Followed SMEP to the letter so we will see. Had no EWCM this month and I usually do get it, but had very strong positive OPKs so 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Makeafamily19 🤣 I know.... there’s no kept dignity in ttc lol.

Sorry about af @Skyla01 but brill on the shorter more normal cycle. That deserves a positive 😁

I’m feeling a little better today. Feeling great full that the dye flowed through at least one so 🤞 Something is working somewhere.

Hi @thelittlepeanut. Sorry about your mc, sounds like you've had a tough ttc journey so far. I hope you don't need smep if you are successful this cycle, but I would recommend the plan. At least you know you are maximising your chances with it.

@Carley321 are you allowed to try this month?

Hi @Skyla01 and thank you! I saw from your previous post you're using conceive plus. How are you finding it? I can't decide between that and preseed. I'm also really struggling to cut back on caffeine - cannot function without a cup of coffee in the am! But have started drinking a glass of hot water and lemon as the first thing i ingest in the morning - heard it's supposed to be good for your body.

@Makeafamily19 fingers crossed for a bfp! The tww always feels like it goes so slow.

Hi @thelittlepeanut , I'm 31 and ttc#1 as well but only on cycle 3. Feel like this is more like cycle 1 though as first 2 cycles we didn't DTD as much as we got married last month so the focus was on that. I have preseed and conceive plus as I thought I'd try both. We prefer conceive plus as it's a more 'lubey' texture, preseed is more watery. I think more people use preseed though.

@thelittlepeanut I started using conceive plus last cycle because I read other lubes can be bad for sperm. I just wanted one you could buy in a normal tube, not for inserting. It works very well as a lube! But not a magic bullet as we weren't successful last cycle. I think the evidence +/- caffeine isn't that strong. But I am cutting down without too much bother, and I feel that every little helps since we've been trying for a while now without luck (about to hit 6 months since stopping the pill).

How far in to the TWW are you guys?

I'm 4dpo, but not overly confident. We only dtd twice as my OH was away the rest of the time. Fingers crossed though!

Think I'll try conceive plus and see how we get on. Not expecting it to be a miracle, but like you said every little helps!!

Morning All! I'm due on tomorrow so just waiting until Wednesday now to test if nothing happens before then. I did do a test last week which was negative but I think it would have been too early but who knows! Not a fan of the waiting game at all!

@mooey89 hey there, I'm 2DPO same as you! Ttc number 2 after 8 years lol. How are you, are you hopeful for this month?
We DTD at good times I believe but it's the waiting that kills me! Then I get crazy and symptom spot 😂

@Skyla01 well they just said to refrain from Bd for a few days. So I assume so? Although I am on antibiotics so that will probably mess me right up 🙈.

I’m feeling a little better. But also just feel a bit in limbo... like what are we working towards if I’m not ovulating from the right side. Still haven’t actually talked to a doctor about it in depth so that’s frustrating. I’d just like some reassurance or some answers now. I’m losing hope if I’m honest ... will this ever happen for us 💜🤞🙏

I know! We didn’t quite manage the full plan this month but did get 4 in on the fertile week, including day before an day of ovulation so hope we’re in with a chance. After 10 months I’m not holding out my hopes!
When I was trying with my son it was so easy 😭

@Carley321 things must be hard after trying for so long. But I think your chances naturally are still really good & if you need there is assisted fertility things like ivf. You would still have other routes to go down if the natural way doesn't work out. Are you going up see the Dr soon? I think they'll be able to reassure you. It's only natural to feel negative about the process sometimes. I'm only 6 months in but already I sometimes feel like this is never going to happen... I'm trying to not stress this month and keep positive thoughts flowing!

I'm just waiting for AF to depart then I think we'll be starting again next weekend from cd10.

@Mooey89 tell me about it I had my son in 2 months! Though I actually haven't been trying for that long this will be the second month, but I'm already scared it wont happen this month! You arent feeling anything yet are you? We need to get to the end of the week might start getting sore boobs. One massive sign for me is really sore boobs!

I'm currently on holiday with dh in Greece that we planned ages and it's been nice to lounge around. The beat though has been difficult and has increased my exhaustion so I've spent most of my time drinking water and trying to stay out of the scorching heat but I'm not complaining!!
