so at 14dpo that result looks pretty normal!

lissie · 21/08/2007 10:13

oh and demand a scan at 5w. a good sonographer can find a bean at 5w pg

bobbydazzler · 21/08/2007 11:25

TSLM it is all looking a little bit more positive now

My AF still a no show, but i will not test till Thursday.

Expect me to be REALLY gutted if it is just a case of a late appearance by the evil old hagwitch this month.

of to loo now for further knicker ops

bobbydazzler · 21/08/2007 11:26

meant "obs"

cedar12 · 21/08/2007 12:05

TSLM I hope your hcg levels continue to go up well. I was told they would be able to see something on a scan when hcg levels were above 1500.

sweetkitty · 21/08/2007 13:12

TLSM - no news is good news still keeping everything crossed for you

bobbydazzler - you have a will of steel I would have caved in by now and tested (I tested 5 days before AF was due last time I'm a nightmare) knicker watch is horrendous but if she isn't here yet theres still hope

bobbydazzler · 21/08/2007 13:35

sweetkitty

I actually find it easier not to test than to do a test and get a negative result, tho i am not finding the waiting and the hoping easy this month, it is very distracting!

If it wasn't for the fact that I have had one cycle were I got to 28 days and one were i got to 31 days i would be getting pretty excited now but I know anything can still happen.

I know i have read on here lots of times before about women who were on the verge of seeing a consultant when they find out they are pregnant, but that sounds too good to be true for me. However the longer it stays away the more my hope increases a tiny notch.

Should just listen to my Husband who said just a few minutes ago, well you have gone to day 31 before. I know that but it was just one time out of the last 14 cycles.

oh I am so so so so hoping of agony rather than joy!

sweetkitty · 21/08/2007 15:45

I know you actually get scared to do a test cos if it's negative that's it then all hope gone for another month. I'm far too impatient though.

I am so so hoping for you now that AF stays away.

looneytune · 21/08/2007 16:00

I can imagine how hard, well done for waiting

I can't believe I'm saying this but I went to the loo feeling like I'd finally got my period, all excited (only coz I know I'm not pg therefore just want it here so can start again) and no I've had the tiniest winiest bit of brown (old blood) stuff but it really is so tiny, I'm surprised I noticed it.

Hope it hurry's and arrives soon!!!

scorpio1 · 21/08/2007 16:00

LT-there is a thread in health about delayed period after stopping pill.

looneytune · 21/08/2007 16:02

Thanks, will go check it out I know it's to be expected for it to be delayed but I keep worrying about the menopause problem therefore want it here so that makes me feel a bit better about things being ok for now. I know, I know....worrying will delay blabla

bobbydazzler · 21/08/2007 16:15

LT and sweetkitty thanks for your lovely thoughts

They really help me. I am off to knicker check again (I do actually need the loo!)

It is strange i am desperately hoping AF won't show and LT is hoping she does! I s'pose if i did test and it was BFFN I would be in the same boat.

Problem is not having any pre period signs either, used to get pre AF cramping but since having first baby and then breast feeding all pre AF signs disappeared so I am always caught out when the old bag does show.

Does not make for good underwear situation! Sorry TMI I know, only saving grace is that I usually start very light. I do sometimes remember to put a pad in when I think she is due, but all out at the moment. God can't believe I am saying all this!!! But the joy of Mumsnet, you can pretty much say what you like without grossing anyone out too much!

jacobandlysette · 21/08/2007 18:12

have missed so much of this i'm so sorry i've not been in the caravan much lately!

with DS we had a scan at 6 weeks and there was a good little bean there, as DH kept saying "if" we are PG....

no signs of AF yet, and I'm with you bobbydazzler - lots of checking and i too have no signs since having DS where i used to get loads of signs of AF before! Am also getting myself all hopeful this month (when will I learn???), so I guess it's fingers crossed here.

went out and bought myself a ridiculously expensive pair of trousers today in the hope that i'll have to take them back as they won't fit me how sad am I???

TLSM fingers crossed your levels keep increasing and it sounds as if they are in the correct range at the moment?

will be back later when ds isn't destroying something.

xxxx

libralady · 22/08/2007 09:27

Fingers crossed for you today TLSM
Thinking of you.
xx

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 22/08/2007 11:22

Went to for the next blood test this morning feeling quite sick! also did my last PG test and its a very strong BFP only thing bothering me is this horrid back pain will have to wait until next week when they will scan me to see where the bud is

jacobandlysette · 22/08/2007 12:30

TLSM I am so happy for you and ...........after 6 months or so of TTC and five tests we have a BFP too . Due date will be 1st may on the current dates, but as DS was 2 months early this one is likely to be too.

must have to see if there is a may club yet?

fingers crossed to everyone and any news Bobbydazzler?

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 22/08/2007 12:33

libralady · 22/08/2007 15:21

That was supposed to say good! Sorry about that!

nomoremagnolia · 22/08/2007 15:25

Was just popping in to bring you some chocolate muffins, but it seems you don't need then to cheer you up - so have them as celebratary cakes instead

looneytune · 22/08/2007 15:33

TLSM - sounds more positive doesn't it, keeping my fingers crossed

Well, I'm still knicker watching at CD32 but no longer feel SO much like AF is on it's way . Cervix moved up a little I THINK......what does that mean? Maybe I won't get one this month? Oh, I don't know

jacobandlysette · 22/08/2007 16:05

thanks LL and nomoremagnolia i'm tucking into that cake as we speak! since i now have to abandon all my favourite foods and the alst alcoholic drink i had was a bloody bottle of beer - not even a nice wine or anything...

fingers crossed still TLSM and for you too LT and bobbydazzler are you still on knickerwatch???

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 22/08/2007 16:12

jacobandlysette · 22/08/2007 16:55

o'h TLSM that's great news

abbymeg · 22/08/2007 21:03

Sorry to interfere in thread, but wanted to mention that I had bad back pain in early pregnancy with DD. Read into it: something to do with ligaments loosening up ready for carrying baby. Hope this helps and good luck.
