Morning all

I could smell the bacon and eggs and just HAD to come and join you

How is everyone today?

TLSM - hello mate Really pleased everything is going well!

Well, I had a tarot reading the other day and she told me all about the trying for baby stuff aswell as all the other things going on in my life - she was spot on as always (been using her for about 10 yrs and she's the only person I trust with this stuff, she's even helped the police solve murders). Anyway, sounds like I'm going to have quite a wait so we're back to just having sex when we want and forgetting about ttc for now, just going to stay off the pill and see what happens.

Right, ds is nagging as he's itchy (poor thing suffering with chickenpox atm) so I best go.

Thanks for the breakfast, it was lovely

tizzwhizz · 23/09/2007 17:37

Hi
Glad you enjoyed breakfast Looneytune. My Gran used to do a lot of tarot card reading she swore by it. Hope things all work out for you.

Am struggling a bit today just feel wound up for no apparent reason.I dont know if that means AF is on its way or just because I feel like we could have done more and its too late this month.

Right I need to snap out of it, people far worse off and am rambling a bit.

Hope everyone had a good day.

looneytune · 24/09/2007 09:41

Sorry you were having a bad day yesterday, hope you feel a bit better. I was very tearful yesterday and couldn't get motivated. A lot because one of the parents of a baby I look after was making it clear she wasn't happy about ds's chickenpox, even though I couldn't help it. I feel awful and she really upset me HOWEVER, I've been ultra sensitive since I came off the pill, hormones going mad I think I'm off back to my tarot reader (she's much more than just that) and going to get crystal/reiki healing as she cured me of VERY BAD PND after ds was born and I thought this time she could just sort my hormones out and stop me being a jibbering wreck all the time!! Maybe this couold help sort my cycles out too? (as last 2 were 32 days and then 25 days). Apparently I'll be pregnant in Feb and find out in March, bit of a wait so I must stop thinking about all this ttc!!!

How is everyone today?

I might be dipping my toe into this thread at some point soon. DH and I are thinking of going for number 3, just having a few niggly fears atm but thinking we might go for it

FoghornLeghorn · 24/09/2007 11:39

sorry, think I got the wrong thread

liger · 24/09/2007 16:04

Hello all,

I'm back from a lovely weekend, we were outside all the time and we all feel much better for it. I got a bit emotional on the first night but I think it was just the release of being away and being able to relax a bit. Back to the real world, and CD6.

Tizzwhizz, sorry to see you were a bit low over the weekend, it sounds just like I had felt before my AF, I'd tried to be relaxed this time but somehow it made me all the more anxious when those 'what if's' days came around. I hope its getting easier for you

Looney, lovely to see you back again, your Tarot reader sounds amazing. it must be such a comfort when you can really trust in her. Hope your ds is better soon.

Anniemac, good luck for Thursday,

FoghornLeghorn, you are welcome to stick around and enjoy the view, I'll see if I can dig out the biscuit tin........

tizzwhizz · 24/09/2007 17:48

Hi Everyone

Thank You for words of support.

Welcome back Liger, really pleased you had a relaxing weekend. Sounds like it was just what you needed.

How you feeling today Looney? Will be back in later will put the kettle for you and make a cuppa. Hope you are feeling better, your tarot reader sounds really good and she has given you some positive news for Feb/March time. I wouldnt let the mum get to you about chicken pox. What exactly does she want you to do, your poor ds cant help it. Think she is being a bit precious to be honest. I tended to take the view that they were going to get that sort of thing anyway and the earlier they get it out the way the better. Hope your ds feels better soon.

anniemac - Hope all goes well on Thursday.

Foghorn - Hi, stick around, I was really pleased to find the caravan. What with the lovely orange curtains, a magnificent awning, cracking site shop. Then the walks on the beach and chaise to relax on when you get back. Fellow holiday makers in the caravan are lovely too.

Feeling quite a bit better today, thanks everyone. Had a good day at work today aswell where as it has been manic.

See you later, hope everyone is ok today.

tizzwhizz · 24/09/2007 17:50

p.s anniemac - fingers crossed about your AF

tizzwhizz · 24/09/2007 19:40

Hi Everyone,

Kettles on, help yourselves to a cuppa.

liger · 26/09/2007 16:40

Hi Tizzwhizz, Just popping in to see how you are and hoping that AF has stayed away so far. You were very good company when I was playing the waiting game so hopefully I can return the favour and make sure you have lots of tea and chocolate.

Todays been a good day, yesterday not so good. I'm getting close to bd'ing time again so am hoping to find some optimism from somewhere.

Good luck tomorrow Anniemac

Hope everyone else is well

tizzwhizz · 26/09/2007 18:14

Hi Liger

Thank you I really appreciate it. It is due today but so far no appearance. I have frequently been late in the past not always regular. Have certainly felt premenstual. I am trying to hold off doing a test now and wait a few days. You know what its like you no sooner test and then it arrives.

Glad today is a better day. Sorry you were having a bad day yesterday. If you need a chat or anything I will keep popping in for a cuppa.

Good Luck tomorrow anniemac.

Hi

Hope you got on ok today anniemac.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Still no sign of af today, have resisted buying a test today. Even got to the point of asking assistant in the supermarket where they were. Then decided to hold off. I still want the feeling that there might be a chance if you know what I mean.

See everyone soon, Have dropped off one of those fan heaters getting a bit chilly now.

tizzwhizz · 28/09/2007 07:50

Hi

still no sign of af but getting the whole pms feeling.
hope everyone ok.

liger · 28/09/2007 09:42

Hi Tizzwhizz, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, so glad to hear that AF didn't come yesterday - lets hope for the same today. Very well done on resisting buying the test, and I know exactly what you mean by wanting to keep the hope alive. I'll put the kettle on

Anniemac, I hope it went ok with the consultant yesterday, I'll go now and look on other threads to see if there is news from you.

I'm doing okay, trying to stay positive and do things to distract me from just thinking about ttc, - not sure I'm completely succeeding - hence the caravan.

I hope you all enjoy your Friday's

x

hedgepig · 28/09/2007 10:29

Hiya, I'm back from France I have nice cheese! wine (although probably shouldn't have it on a ttc tread!) and some very yummy chocolates; help yourselves they are on the side by the sink.

How is everyone? Managed to persuade dh to try a quicky before I went away! It is like getting blood out of a stone sometimes, I thought men were supposed to like sex . I am stating to think if I ever do conceive it will have to be an immaculate conception.

liger · 28/09/2007 11:55

welcome back Hedgpig, the chocolates are just yummy thank you! Lets hope those 'super sperm' do their thing and I hope you had a lovely time in France. not much changed in the caravan, we need some BFP's me thinks!

hedgepig · 28/09/2007 12:19

Yes there seemed to be a bit of baby dust about a month or so ago, i did look in duty free but they didn't seem to have any.
So now it is just waiting , I'm supposed to be working from home this morning but I have just browsed mumsnet and drunk tea. Must go an do something, but then again it is lunch time!

Hi Everyone

Af still not here.

Welcome back hedgepig - yum yum chocolates. Thank You. Fingers crossed the bding pre france worked.

Hi Liger sorry I didnt make it in for a cuppa, ended up at A & E just got back. ds accidently headbutted me (bless him) and has broken my nose. The unforeseen perils of having children. (that should maybe be on another thread). I blame dh he was tickling ds at the time who threw his head back into my nose.

Hope everyone else ok.

liger · 29/09/2007 03:23

Tizzwhizz!! My ds did exactly the same to me a few months back - the pain the pain!! There isn't really an A&E i can easily get access to here so i left it as my nose didn't seem to look any different, but it hurt when touched for weeks afterwards and I got a great shiny bruise. Big sympathies, what did A&E say out of interest?

At least it would of distracted you from knicker watch for a while. Wonderful news that AF has still not arrived, but I'll try not to get too excited just yet - I'll do that if you tell me you are going to test.

Anniemac - sorry to hear of your friend. Wishing you well and come and hide in the caravan anytime.

tizzwhizz · 29/09/2007 09:12

Hi

Anniemac - Sorry didnt read the message properly, cant wear glasses at minute. Sorry about your friend.

Bought some donuts home after the hospital (purely as pain relief obviously) Help yourelf everyone).

Liger - It really hurts doesnt it: Went to A&E because bleeding wouldnt stop completely. They said there isnt a lot they can do until swelling goes down so to go back in ten days and they will see if anything needs doing. They said it will probably not need anything doing as it doesnt look like it is deformed just very swollen.

so here goes, they told me to take ibuprofen and paracetamol for pain. The ibuprofen combined with the fact that my nephew has just got hand, foot and mouth led me to do a test. And I have a BFP - cant believe it. I am shocked as it hasnt been a great bding month but over the moon. I am also a little worried because of mc. But still over the moon.

Does that mean I have to leave the caravan - can I still keep popping in to see everyone is ok?

Hopefully this is the start of a trend in the caravan and everyone will be getting some good news soon. Thank you everyone for your support aswell.

liger · 29/09/2007 09:52

Tizzwhizz wonderful wonderful news a BFP, i almost mis-read your understated post as a BFN! I am genuninely so pleased that your waiting has ended in good news Congratulations!!!!!

And there I was only yesterday saying I thought this place needed some BFP's, I think you should take up residence on the Chaise - and we'll put up bunting in the awning!! Of course you must stay as long as you want. It will be ups and downs for the next few weeks I imagine with worries about MC, but thats completely normal, and you can come here and drink tea and eat donuts - yum!!

liger · 29/09/2007 09:59

talk about good pain relief, a BFP is better than Ibuprofen at distracting you from the pain - but damn does it hurt!

when ds did my nose I lay down with ice on it for nearly an hour - I could barely open my eyes. I was on the phone to dh wondering if we needed to get on a plane for a while, I don't think he really believed that it could be broken until the bruise really came up a few days later. But I heard a crack! God those first few seconds were just horrible.

But you've got a BFP and I think its just made my day. Fingers crossed for all the other caravaners.
