liger - I hope so!!!

Tizzwhizz - I'm wondering the same, whether to MAKE SURE we do it every other day around OV time OR, just relax and have sex as usual without timing when we should - at the end of the day, I had no idea about all this ovulation business, EWCM etc. when we tried for ds. We just had sex when we wanted and I conceived straight away each time.

tizzwhizz · 10/09/2007 15:38

Same here looney with my ds, not really sure whats best. I have been thinking of going to see gp and asking if there could be anything wrong but dont know if that is a bit over the top.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

liger · 10/09/2007 16:25

Hi Tizzwhizz, its been quiet in this here caravan of late!

I had a too quiet weekend, the sort of weekend which was doing nothing and just what i needed but I know that by Tuesday afternoon I will be itching for the change of scene I didn't get over the weekend!! Or maybe its just me.

I also have the beginnings of a cold - and it says something about my state of mind that I automatically wonder how my body could possible divide hundreds of cells to make a bfp and fight off a cold - therefore I can't be pregnant this month! the mind game continues..... Hope you are all well, and that the caravan won't be abandoned - especially now we have the awning!

libralady · 10/09/2007 19:00

Gosh it's quiet in here at the moment.
Just thought I'd come and have a relaxing sit under the awning for 5 minutes whilst DH is playing in the garden with DS.
Just wondering if we should light the camp fire outside and toast some marshmallows?
Anyone up for it?

tizzwhizz · 10/09/2007 19:56

Hi Liger

Just popped in to bring you some honey and lemon from the site shop to help fight that cold. Sorry you are feeling rough.
Has been quiet in the caravan. The quiet weekend may be just what you need. You could look at it that it will give you the boost to fight the cold and give you that bfp.
You never know! The body is a strange thing.

We had a busy weekend , my dh's sisters wedding. We are a close family was a lovely lovely day. There was however a distinct lack of bding on our part, you would think the whole romance of the day would have boosted our energy levels. It had the opposite effect of course and we were both shattered. But I am seeing the wedding as a good omen at the moment. Things have been a bit tough for us as a family over the past months. Think the wedding is a sign of more positive things to come.

I could of course be talking utter rubbish.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Hope you feel better soon liger.

tizzwhizz · 10/09/2007 20:01

Hi Libralady

Sorry didnt see your message before I typed mine.

Marshmallows sound fab, will bring some hot chocolate with me too.

I should really be ironing but the lure of marshmallows is too strong and whats the problem with a few creases in our clothes anyway.

tizzwhizz · 14/09/2007 18:13

Hi

Just a quickie to see if all have had a good week.

liger · 15/09/2007 08:51

Okay, I am taking residence in the caravan and plan to be here all weekend and maybe even longer. Even if no one else turns up I will sit here and talk to myself, stare out of the window, and maybe even clean the place. Will definately make lots of tea

My AF is due anytime now, and my brain is swinging from 'ooh I could be' to ' of course you aren't' and then ' prepare yourself for feeling really let down' and back to 'shall I just do a quick test'. its not healthy and I don't like it so I'm hiding in the caravan.

Tizzwhizz you sweetheart, thank you for the honey and lemon, could have done with some more this morning, its pretty much gone but when I first wake up its just miserable. Sorry not to have been around for a while, but I will be on the computer over this weekend as I'm doing a bit of work - thought this place might keep me sane.

hiya just popping my head around the door I'll stick the kettle on for a cuppa and some muffins for breakfast.

I'm on the mad ttc rollercoaster again will probably be resident in the caravan in 3 weeks time though.

liger · 15/09/2007 09:08

Hello you two, tea is brewing in the pot. You might be able to squeeze a muffin in the tiny toaster

I always imagine the caravan is on a windy hillside in Wales with a view of dramatic coastline. No offence to Wales but the mood always seems to suit it being a bit rainy and hostile outside ( thank heavans for that awning) but a damn fine view.

Glad you two are both in the more optimistic phase of the month

Oh no, well Anniemac, you have the big mug of tea and come and sit near the window with me. We can stare out the window and whinge, and make loud slurps on our tea.

liger · 15/09/2007 10:59

pressed up against the window of the caravan, staring bleakly into the distance] Have run out of milk - can't make more tea.

tizzwhizz · 15/09/2007 15:31

Heres more milk, just sent dh to asda for more anyway so can use what we have left. Can always do some ice tea if we run out.

Liger - glad you are feeling better. Fingers crossed for you.

Can feel a bit like wishing the days away waiting for that time of the month cant it sometimes feels like its not going to arrive.

Good luck for Thursday anniemac, put your feet up and listen to the seagulls flying round the caravan.

Hi SweetKitty. Am also on the ttc rollercoaster again at the minute maybe if we have enough goes we will be able to get off soon. (Do we at least get a free pass to the rest of the rides the longer we are on it)

Have a good rest of the day.

liger · 15/09/2007 16:00

Hi Tizzwhizz, you are a star - thanks for getting the milk.

I'm still mildly mopy. Can definitely feel the early twinges of AF. It will soon be a year since I lost my dd (can't quite believe that), and the next few weeks will be very difficult. I'm just really hoping for a sign that the next year will be better for us. And I guess a bfp would be just a wonderful sign. ....sigh

tizzwhizz · 15/09/2007 16:56

Hi Liger

I am really sorry didnt know about your dd.
Just do what you need to do to get through it.

I have everything crossed for you. Will keep checking in on the caravan and put the kettle on if you need tea and a chat over next few weeks.

liger · 15/09/2007 17:23

Thanks Tizzwhizz, today an addiction to Earl Gray is helping me through - I go off caffeine altogether when I'm pregnant so that is another sign that AF is inevitable.

I;ve been better this month than the last few months, i've made a really conscious effort not to linger on some of the support sites that helped me through the early stages. They have helped me enormously, but I was getting stuck and constantly going over things in my mind which was no good for any of us. I'm trying to think more to the year ahead and making it good for me, and my family.

tizzwhizz · 15/09/2007 17:30

I am a fan of rooibos tea at the minute, I find that quite relaxing, hadnt thought of trying earl grey.

liger · 15/09/2007 17:58

Careful though, neither dh nor I used to drink tea before we got togeher. He drank milk as preference, and I was coffee all the way. We are now tea addicts of grand proportions and neither of us quite know how it happend! Roobious tea is very nice, it reminds me of Africa too which is always a good thing.

I'm heading to bed now (different time zone) have a good rest of the day

tizzwhizz · 16/09/2007 10:25

Morning everyone,

Just thought I would run hoover round, got the cleaning bug at the minute at home.

liger · 16/09/2007 11:31

morning - ooh it looks lovely in here - thanks for cleaning up my biscuit crumbs.
How are you today Tizzwhizz, is it sunny with you?

tizzwhizz · 16/09/2007 11:50

Lovely here today. How are you today?.

liger · 16/09/2007 15:32

Good today, I've been doing some freelance work over the weekend - the first I've done since ds was born (he's 2.4yrs) and its all come flooding back which is a lovely feeling and very reassuring that I still have some skills!

so AF hasn't arrived yet so am dashing to the loo every 5 mins to check. Had the tiniest streak of blood in some cm but no more. The cramps I had yesterday haven't returned. Today is the day it would be due if my cycle was 28 days - but I have been known to be 28-30 days. So i will wait a couple more days. Going to get back to my work to keep my mind off it.

tizzwhizz · 16/09/2007 20:26

Well heres hoping. Bet it feels good to get your brain in gear. I sometimes feel like mine went when I gave birth. Do work part time but not management anymore, have flashes on occasion that make me think its still deep down somewhere.

Good luck with Af I had a bit of spotting with ds so there is still hope there.

Really have got everything crossed for you liger.
