I couldn't find an August Bus so thought I'd set one up! AF got me this morning ☹️

Age 28

Have tried temping and testing, relaxed it all a fair bit last cycle due to my temporary insanity!

@Sleepyhead11 I am studying for my level 5 diploma in HR.

@Skyla01 I tried this morning, I used three tests and all went wrong 😂 I'll try again tomorrow! Good job I got 20 tests!! Have you started?

@Sleepyhead11 nope, just going to keep DTD, it’s beginning to get a bit disheartening now! I got pregnant with DD1 unexpectedly whilst on the pill at 18 so I foolishly thought getting pregnant the second time round would be easy and quick, how wrong I was!

Skyla01 · 14/07/2019 14:26

@Louise190 oh that's annoying! Hopefully you'll be sorted for tomorrow's testing. I started yesterday, and got a flashing smiley today! Have no sign of fertile cm though so will be surprised to see static smiley soon. But will get testing and DTD and see what happens.

Hi all,

Finally plucking up the courage to get back on the forums after 2 misc’s in the last few months.

Bring on the fresh mindset!

Goingbacktokansascity · 14/07/2019 17:20

@amiejb25 sorry to hear about the miscarriages, but happy to hear About the fresh mindset. 🤞🏽 This is your month!

Louise190 · 14/07/2019 17:44

@Skyla01 I tried again this afternoon and got a circle. But at least I've figured the damn thing out! 😂 keep me posted with how you get on with yours!

Welcome @amiejb25 sorry to hear about your losses. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Hi,

I'm going to join to try and keep me going this cycle!

Age: 28
Cycle 5
TTC 1
CD6

I bought some more CB ovulation tests on ebay this month but my DH and I have debated not testing and just temping. I usually ovulate around CD17/18. We tried SMEP. Both feeling a bit down about it and also finding it all a chore. So this cycle we're going to try and relax a bit. If that's even possible!!! I'm a full time teacher and the six weeks are finally in view. Everyone is getting pregnant around me. Colleagues, friends etc. I have an irregular LP so have started taking Vit B Complex. Positive vibes for all!

Skyla01 · 15/07/2019 09:01

@amiejb25 welcome and sorry to hear about your mcs. Glad you are ready to move forward with a new cycle.

@Frozeneverafter hello also! Keep you chin up- it's frustrating when it doesn't happen but 5 cycles isn't all that long in the scheme of things. It will happen for you, might just take time. I can understand wanting to relax about it more this month. All the DTD can get tiring. If you know when you are ovulating you can concentrate your efforts better.

Louise190 · 15/07/2019 10:30

@Skyla01 I've got a flashing smiley this morning! These CB tests are a lot more exciting that the cheapies!

Does anyone else start getting anxious as OV approaches? I think for me it's a combination of pressure to get it right, what if it doesn't work again and also what if it does and this is actually it!

Ov in 4 days ish. Eek xx

Sleepyhead11 · 15/07/2019 11:11

@louise190 that sounds great, what cycle day are you on. I begin testing tomorrow. A bit worried I will wreck tests too. I flooded a pregnancy test last month so don't have the best record for peeing on things.

@frozeneverafter it's so bloody frustrating but it's also great you have six weeks AL coming up. Lots of time to eat lovely food, enjoy the sunshine and spending time with your husband.

Please can someone tell me what lp stands for? It makes me think of old gramophone records, but know it can't be that.

Sleepyhead11 · 15/07/2019 11:17

@amiejb25 I really admire your courage. Sorry for your losses and welcome to this bus. Maybe next month is our month. It must be so stressful for you though, although I read that after two MCs most women go on to have a healthy pregnancy quite quickly. You'll always be aware of the babies who didn't make it, but you will have a gorgeous bundle soon.

Frozeneverafter · 15/07/2019 12:27

Hi all! Thank you for the replies. That's right, I'm just going to do my best to relax now. Que sera, sera I guess! LP means luteal phase. The period of time following ovulation to the arrival of AF. Ideally it should be over 10 days as far as I'm aware. Mine has been 7-10 respectively.

Louise190 · 15/07/2019 13:14

@Sleepyhead11 I'm CD8. I had the same problem. I now how a pee pot in the bathroom which is a bit weird but highly recommended!

tiredmoma · 15/07/2019 16:48

Havnt been on for a few days as alot was happening im currently cd 8 but not really focusing on ttc this month as ive alot on and moving house!! (Good be a good thing though!) but once im moved next month my plan is to get fit healthy & lose some weight so that shall keep me more focused hopefully a friend of mine has found out shes pg (after having trouble with her ds and trying for baby) im so happy for her (and a tad jealous!) hope all of you lovely lot are oky and not climbing any walls yet!!

Skyla01 · 15/07/2019 18:02

@Louise190 that's exciting! Sounds like we can expect static smiley in the next week. I don't have fertile cm yet though so think my ovulation is still a little way off. Are you DTD more often now or just waiting for static?

Louise190 · 15/07/2019 19:32

@Skyla01 I always find myself naturally wanting to DTD in my fertile window anyway so we're just going to go with the flow, whenever we fancy. I expect when I get my static smiley I will probably pounce on DP though! We tried timing DTD and it really took the fun out of it for us! What's your plan?

AmIseeingRight · 15/07/2019 19:49

Hi ladies, can I join please!

Age: 36
TTC: #2
Cycle: 1
CD: 18
AF/BFP due: July 28

got myself some FRER and CB Digitals on the amazon prime sale and decided to join a board. This month was more to test the water as I don't even know when I ovulated, I use the flo app but its all over the place. So hoping but I think August will be my month :) so wanted to make some friends for the journey. Last time was unplanned so this is all very new for me. waves

Louise190 · 15/07/2019 20:13

Aw hi @AmIseeingRight 👋🏻 I've got my fingers crossed for you!

OP posts:
Skyla01 · 15/07/2019 20:58

@Louise190 I'm not sure. Might go for every 2nd day, then daily from static smiley. Just a bit worried static smiley could still be a week away and we'll be fed up DTD by then! Just remember I was having dreams last night about peeing on a cb digital stick!! I'm scared about forgetting each morning!

Yougottabekittenme · 16/07/2019 13:27

So after being a week late for AF i was planning on taking another test tomorrow morning and of course it turns up this morning! Was getting very excited but that’s gone now, going to throw myself into the gym and hope we can start TTC ASAP

KCM99 · 16/07/2019 14:34

Hi ladies, can I join you? I’m on cycle 4 now;
Cycle 1 - cp @ 5 weeks
Cycle 2 - suspected cp @ 4 weeks
Cycle 3 - mc @ 6 weeks with D&C
So no problem getting pregnant but cannot sustain one. Think I need progesterone, have been referred to repeated miscarriage clinic in August. I’m in my 40’s with two young children and really wanted another one 4 years ago but my DH didn’t. But now he does! Smile

So tempted to ttc in July. Seems a waste not to try... sigh think I’m ovulating later this week. Must be patient!

tiredmoma · 16/07/2019 15:00

@Yougottabekittenme sorry to hear AF came but at least now you can focus on the new cycle
