I couldn't find an August Bus so thought I'd set one up! AF got me this morning ☹️

Age 28
CD1
Cycle 5
TTC 1

Have tried temping and testing, relaxed it all a fair bit last cycle due to my temporary insanity!

This is my first month using any kind of OPK it's taken a bit of getting used to and I can see how having a clear smiley face would help read them, I spend ages trying to work out of its darker than the previous!

@Louise190 moving because it's closer to work and where we are atm is in the sticks and I want to be able to walk places, drives me mad that I have to get in the car when we have run out of milk! Should be in in September I hope! Grin

NamiSwan · 30/07/2019 20:24

Sorry to hear of all the BFNs happening ladies but it's early days and you're not out till AF gets you!

CD 6 and AF has finally buggered off. Now the looong wait until ovulation (day 18/19/20/who knows). I used IC last month but wasn't actually sure when I ovulated as was difficult to tell which day the surge happened. This month I think I'm going to try temping - does anyone have a free app they can recommend for tracking temp? I want something that I can put the temp in each day and then visually see it on a chart 🤔

lkl2017 · 30/07/2019 21:02

So currently on CD9, flo showing as first day of fertile window and ovulation predicted in 5 days, so naturally we have started DTD already 😂 get paid tonight so hoping to get some OPK tomorrow but unsure on best time to take? I work mon - fri full time feel abit apprehensive about doing them in work loos lol

rosina38 · 30/07/2019 21:12

@lkl2017 i’m Also on cd9 and Flo showed first day of fertile window so we are going to try and DTD every other day for the next 10 or so days. Not that easy as we are off to stay with our friends in London this weekend from Friday to Sunday Hmm

lkl2017 · 30/07/2019 21:19

@rosina38 aah you will have to try and sneak some time in! We have date night Saturday so pinning all my hopes on OD being around then but predicted for Sunday. Hoping it isnt any later as we have a funeral to attend Monday so can guarantee neither of us will be in the mood regardless of TTC then

MsCherryBakewellaPie · 30/07/2019 21:22

Can I jump on the bus please?

I'm 36 and this will be C1 for TTC1. I'm currently on day 6 and will be coming into my fertility window next week! Excited and worried that we will have troubles all at the same time as I have Endometriosis.

Good luck everyone that's hoping for a BFP this cycle!

xo

whatsthecraic91 · 30/07/2019 22:16

@Louise190 oh really!? I thought CB ones would have definitely given a positive 🤔

@lkl2017 as for as I know the CB ones are FMU so you wouldn’t have to do them in work!

Hannah1925 · 30/07/2019 22:26

@Mimi91 thank you. I've got a doctors appintment tomorrow as I spot 7 days leading up to my period which I don't think is normal.

@Rachieg88 thank you. Time is going so slow. 9 months have dragged and feel like forever xxx

Mimi91 · 30/07/2019 22:49

@Hannah1925 hope your appt goes okay and you get some answers x

Louise190 · 31/07/2019 06:05

@whatsthecraic91 yeah that's what I meant! CB digi were so much better! Highly recommend! You can get them cheaper on eBay too!

@SMiles14 oh that'll be good, much more convenient when the family grows as well! We've got the best of both worlds, we live right on the edge of a tiny little town so we're almost in the stick but also have a Tesco a minute down the road!

lkl2017 · 31/07/2019 06:45

@whatsthecraic91 thank you! Will get some later

SMiles14 · 31/07/2019 06:52

@lkl2017 I know the ones I have say it's best to use afternoon urine as I think it needs the time to develop or something so I do it when I get home from work. CB digit does seem a lot better if you can use fmu

@Louise190 that does sound ideal! Our new house is a lovely 5 - 10 minute stroll to both the Co op and the pub Grin oh and it's a 2 minute walk to the gym so I'll have no excuses!!

I'm now CD 22 and not so sure I have O'd yet... had a temp rise yesterday but fallen again today and didn't get a positive opk either. Been dtd 3 nights in a row so might have to make that 4!

Louise190 · 31/07/2019 07:18

@SMiles14 😂😂 see, the pub is on the way to Tesco so we might not ever make it! And the gym is in the next town! Pub it is!!!

Morning guys.... Anyone do a cheeky test this morning?! Hmm

whatsthecraic91 · 31/07/2019 07:54

@rachieg88 no I have one left and I’m keeping it for if I’m late! Did you?

Skyla01 · 31/07/2019 08:02

@lkl2017 the cb tests use fmu. Although you can test more than once a day if you think ovulation is close. The day I got my static I had a flashing smiley first thing and got the static at 6pm. I had lots of ewcm that day which gave me a nudge to test again.

Rachieg88 · 31/07/2019 08:11

@whatsthecraic91 no I didn't miraculously! I have already done a wee this morning too so psychologically I feel like today is done (in terms of testing!)

Roll on Friday 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Frozeneverafter · 31/07/2019 08:51

I did one yesterday at 9dpo. Stark white Bfn. Had AF cramps every morning. Seem to have gone off again. Keep telling my husband to prepare for AF as I don't think it's our month. Does intuition even count in these situations? Will test again. Said I wasn't going to test! Can't help it!

Louise190 · 31/07/2019 09:15

I got the same last night @Frozeneverafter AF cramps and the usual sudden and debilitating tiredness I get at this point. I feel like intuition (or something) does exist in TTC.. I feel like I've known for at least a week that this cycle isn't our time!

Hi ladies, just catching up, I’ve been off the forums for a few days as on holiday! I am not far from you @SMiles14 - in the Bath area! I’m CD14 today but I’ve not been tracking anything, just DTD a lot on holiday! Last cycle was long so not sure when fertile week and have found not tracking to be so much less stressful. Thinking of those in the TWW and keeping 🤞🏻 for some BFPs xx

Nell90x · 31/07/2019 13:31

@Sunshine8888 I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I've not completely stopped tracking this month (still checking bbt) but have decided to not use opks. Found that I was obsessing keeping track of more than one thing.
Am on cd15 and judging by temps am 1dpo now.
Best of luck! X

WishingforRainbow · 31/07/2019 15:00

Hello

Can I jump on please? This is the first time I've joined a bus here. We have been TTC number 3 for one year (this is cycle 13). I've had 3 miscarriages/chemical pregnancies in that time. Hoping we are lucky soon and get our rainbow. I'll be testing around 7th or 8th August (but actually probably before because I'm a pee on a stick addict). I think I'm 3dpo as I had a positive opk on sat and sun.

Woolylamb · 31/07/2019 15:04

Hi, please can I join? I’m 36, ttc number 2. Cycles usually 29-31 days. Currently cd 26 and spending way too much on tests when really I should just be patient. Keep thinking I might be able to see a line and it’s messing with my head so trying to step away from the tests for a bit! I got early bfps with my previous two pregnancies (sadly first was mc) so I keep comparing to those.

SMiles14 · 31/07/2019 15:12

@Sunshine8888 ahh yay another nearby! whereabouts do you live? Did you have a good holiday? Your relaxed approach sounds very healthy and I'm sure all the chilling you did on holiday will only have helped!

@Louise190 oh gawd I would never ever make it to the shop if that were the case!!

Hello to the newbies!

Fingers crossed and baby dust everyone🍀🌟🤞🏻

Cat028 · 31/07/2019 15:54

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining in too. I am 29 and ttc no1. Currently on cycle 9 and had 1 chemical during that time. AF is due 2nd Aug (my birthday - keeping everything crossed for an epic bday present) 2WW is always a killer!! Xx
