I couldn't find an August Bus so thought I'd set one up! AF got me this morning ☹️

Age 28
CD1
Cycle 5
TTC 1

Have tried temping and testing, relaxed it all a fair bit last cycle due to my temporary insanity!

Also @Vio112 I doubt a grandchild would spoil anything for MIL! X

@Louise190 when are you thinking of re -testing? I did a cb digital this morning and have frer arriving Thurs/fri....... (So cheap on Amazon!)

Anyone else testing today/ tomoro?? I need to see some bfp to show it is possible!! 😊

Vio112 · 30/07/2019 11:26

Thanks for the advice. I agree, also anything could happen between now and then that could get in the way so may as well just carry on!

Rachieg88 · 30/07/2019 11:29

@Vio112 yes exactly. And if you were to get pregnant this month or next then you could easily take the baby with you! @Louise190 is right- I highly doubt it would ruin mil plans, I'm sure she would be ecstatic!

Skyla01 · 30/07/2019 11:54

@PeanutButter19 sorry to hear you are still waiting for your cycle to restart. If you are managing to stay sane that is really good! Hope things start cycling again soon. I know it's a long time to wait but after 6 months maybe think about going to your GP? Most people are back cycling by then. Fingers crossed for you.

ainsliec · 30/07/2019 11:58

Clear blue digital tests are not very sensitive, especially at 7DPO!

The only ones that could possibly work then are the FRER

Louise190 · 30/07/2019 13:03

@Rachieg88 probably every day 😂 tbh I know this hasn't been our month so I don't get disappointed but I can't resist testing! When will you test again?

@kahstorm my DP takes the wellman conception ones. I'm very lucky and he just gets on with it. Neither of us are very consistent with them though. You can get the pregnacare and wellman ones in a box together which makes them a bit cheaper. I got mine on amazon I think x

2/3dpo and got brown spotting 😒😒 feeling proper down. Has anyone had this before?

whatsthecraic91 · 30/07/2019 13:29

@Rachieg88 when are you retesting? I’m going to wait until Sunday when I’ll be a day late!

@Louise190 why do you not think it’s your month? There’s always a chance!!! 🤞🏼

Louise190 · 30/07/2019 14:01

@whatsthecraic91 I just don't feel anything, I don't feel any different, if that makes sense. All symptoms and changes are the same as a normal cycle! I'm trying to be more realistic than hopeful with the theory that if I get a BFP one day then I will be pleasantly surprised, if that makes sense!

Rachieg88 · 30/07/2019 14:10

@Louise190 lol @ testing every day!! I am exactly the same but I am absolutely forcing myself to not do any more testing until Friday morning. It is just so tempting isn't it..... Also, not to get your hopes up but There are plenty of people who don't feel anything at all until about 6 weeks so you never know 🤞 you must have seen the news stories where people give birth without realising they're even preggo?!!

@whatsthecraic91 if you can wait until Sunday then you should defo do that!! I just know I won't be able to hold on that long😂🙈

Monday55 · 30/07/2019 15:29

Sorrys to hear of the BFNs, it's not over until AF shows up, so hang in there.

CD7 for me going to DTD every other day starting today. DH is more broody than I am, so I dont need to convince him.

I'm not doing any ovulation tests or temping. I have 26day cycles so I've got 19more days to go before I stock up on pregnancy tests if AF doesn't stop me 1st.

SMiles14 · 30/07/2019 16:12

Hey Ladies am I too late to jump on?

Im on CD 21 Today and I think I Ovulated Today. That is my usual O date but this is my first cycle back ttc after a mmc so not really sure what to expect this month.
A little bit about me:
I'm 28, from Wiltshire (Bath end)
TTC for our first
This will be our 4th cycle I guess. Got Pg in April after 3 consecutive months trying and carried that pregnancy through to my 12 week scan on 7th July when I found out there was no baby :( I had an ERPC on 9th July and now here I am!

Feeling quite optimistic given the odds are up following a mc but also terrified at the same time!

Good luck to those who are testing this week! Smile

Louise190 · 30/07/2019 18:03

@Rachieg88 haha I actually went to school with a girl who didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth! How mad is that! Just thinking you've got gas and bad bloating or something 😂 I won't get my hopes up.. I can't stand the monthly disappointment when AF arrives!

OP posts:
Louise190 · 30/07/2019 18:06

Hi @SMiles14 never too late! I'm sorry to hear about mmc Thanks
You're not too far from me, I'm just south of Taunton. How's your weather been today!? 😱
The bitter sweetness is that you can get pregnant so that's something. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

whatsthecraic91 · 30/07/2019 18:08

@Rachieg88 @Louise190 my sister didn’t know she was pregnant until she was in labour!

I know I tested early but I am considering myself out, DP text me during the day to let me know we are hitting the town on Saturday night, dinner drinks and dancing so I am excited about that!

Think I’ll try the CB ovulation tests next month, don’t you do them in the mornings? IC are unreliable I didn’t get a positive this month 🙈

Rachieg88 · 30/07/2019 18:24

Omg that is mental! Are you two talking about the same person or is it just really common to unexpectedly give birth?!!

I have a night out planned for Friday so my thinking is that I am going to test that morning and if it's bfn then I will just enjoy my night out and try again next month

I think I will join in on the cb ovulation tests as at the moment I'm just going by ovia which can't be as accurate🤔

SMiles14 · 30/07/2019 18:25

@Louise190 thank you, and yes you're right it is somewhat of a reassurance that we can get pregnant.
That's not far at all, we are just outside Melksham, although not for much longer, in the process of buying in Corsham near Chippenham Smile
Eugh weather has been awful today!! I did relish putting my jeans on though, I've missed them!!

Skyla01 · 30/07/2019 18:34

@SMiles14 really sorry to hear about your loss, that must be devastating.

I've used cb digital for the first time this month. Big downside is the price. But other than that it's been really good. Easy to use with fmu and clear result. You can start testing twice a day if you like too (I got my positive/ static at 6pm). I have long cycle so I got the box of 20. Have some left over and apparently you can use the same one for future cycles (although it says you can't on the box). Would recommend if you don't mind the £££.

Mimi91 · 30/07/2019 18:52

@Hannah1925 I've had brown spotting at 2/3 dpo a few times before. The chances are its an ovulation bleed. Spotting is usually pink on O day, but if you have a slower blood flow and it takes longer to leave the body, it does appear brown. Hope that helps!

Mimi91 · 30/07/2019 18:56

@Hannah1925 p.s. sorry you're feeling down. Spotting at this time in your cycle is a really good sign that you're ovulating.

whatsthecraic91 · 30/07/2019 19:16

@Rachieg88 I don’t know if we are talking about the same person or not! I’m in Northern Ireland if that narrows it down 😂😂

The CB are quite expensive but hopefully worth it!

Rachieg88 · 30/07/2019 19:29

@Hannah1925 so you are feeling down. It is completely normal- it is such a roller coaster and you hormones are literally all over the place. Fingers crossed tomoro is a better day x

Rachieg88 · 30/07/2019 19:29

*sorry , not so! Blush

Louise190 · 30/07/2019 20:06

@whatsthecraic91 no way, that's mad!
Yay for drinking and dancing! I did the drinking last weekend, this weekend will be a quiet one 🙈 I used CB digi this month, SOOOO much better than IC! I didn't know whether I was coming or going with IC, I didn't get a positive either! I got mine from eBay, a box of 20 for £25 which is a lot cheaper than elsewhere! I only used 5 🙈

@Rachieg88 I think it's actually more common than we realise. I watched one of those ambulance programs not long back with a girl who gave birth in her hotel room. She'd been going to the doctors for bloating!!

@SMiles14 Oh how exciting! What's the reason for the move? Have you been spending ages deciding on decor etc? I'm a nightmare with things like that!
