Going to test with 1st wee tomorrow (cd31) as we're going away this weekend and are thinking of househunting (so it makes a difference to how many bedrooms we'll potentially need!). Still no AF, big boobs, sicky feeling, fingers crossed!

MommieD and Tessiebear, this will (possibly) be #3 for us too. DS is 9 and DD is 5 (we go for big gaps - long story!) and I'm 39.5!! Only realised I wanted another when I had an unexpected(?) m/c at 6 weeks 4 years ago. Have been trying on and off (again, long story) since then, but more 'on' since Feb 04.

Congrats Cobweb - great news. You take good care of yourself. I am now on CD8 and am ttc no 3. Have a ds (25 months) and a dd (just over 7 months) and am hoping for another small age gap although miscarried on my last cycle which surprised me at its impact both physically and mentally. Anyway, best of luck to everyone whatever stage you are at. We are all hoping for summer babies if things go right

My temp chart just looks all other the place the whole time. Not sure how I am ever to notice a change much anyway. Will see what happens I guess. Anyone else find that?

I know; it's only first month ad I did say that I would not gget hooked up on all this until first 3 months of temping are done, and I see if I get a pattern. But you know how it is!!!

Tessiebear - like you, we might try a few of the old wives tales... we really don't mind either way boy or girl (we'd love to be the parents of three lads). BUT - for a laugh we are going to try early in the cycle (cd8-cd10) and a bit more bd! both sons were conceived in months where we had very little bd! I know what will happen though - if it doesn't work first month we'll end up going for bang on ovulation next month... I'm impatient!!

MommyD - have we been seperated at birth? Everything you just posted relates to me! We are doing exactly the same as you this month but as you say if it doesnt work i know i will be impatient and do it bang on ov next month. With both DS's we had only done it twice in the whole month!

I know what you mean Hulababy!! We say it will not dominate our every waking thought .. but it does! CD8 - DH has just popped home - might go and see if he is up for some BDing!!! (sorry for TMI)

ds2 was conceived 7 months after ds1 was born. It was the THIRD time we had bd since ds1 born and the only time we didn't use any protection!!! THERE, I said it! dh was rather pissed off about that....

LOL MummyD - my Dh was a bit p*ssed off we didnt have to "Try" more for DS2 - he knows that once i am pg - i will feel too sick to do "Anything"!

Did an early test and was negative, not that im surprisd as only bd'd once this month . But then again af not due till sun or mon and i did buy the test with my reward points. Why cant i wait till i miss a af, im just too impatient

Well MommyD - i will be very interested to see if it works. CD8 today and we are going to BD every day until Sunday/Monday (CD11 / 12) Will probably stop on Sunday. But , it will take ALL my resolve to stop myself BDind one more time on OV (Wednesday Thursday ish)

Hulababy - was it you who was saying you felt sick etc since coming off the pill? Its just that since coming off mine a week ago i have felt a bit sick and had loads of headaches (which i never usually get). Does anyone else find that Folic acid leaves them with a horrid taste in their mouth and feeling a bit sick?
