Hi ladies,

Hope you're all ok and not struggling with pregancy symptoms too much!

I had a scan on Monday at 6+4 and we found out we're having twins again! I'm still in shock and am a nervous wreck as we lost twins at 19 weeks in January.

Next scan on Monday 19th August (two weeks after the first scan). I saw my midwife on Wednesday (already) and she has referred me to the perinatal mental health service as my anxiety levels are very high. I see them in two weeks.

@20TinkerBell20 I'm a little nervous but I think that's just normal. I had a scan at 7 weeks and Baby was fine so I have no reason to think otherwise at the moment so fingers crossed it's all ok. And yes to the sleeping! If I wake up to go to the toilet in the night (which seems to be happening nearly every night) I struggle to go back to sleep. Im hoping we still have my pregnancy pillow up the loft as I think that will really help me get comfortable.

@Squiff70 wow twins! Hope your appointments go well and can put you at ease although I understand how hard it must be after being through such an awful experience

@Cupcakes1234 what made you decide to have the early scan. And at 7 weeks did they manage to do the normal scan as opposed to the internal one? I had both with my first but this time around I feel a bit more reluctant for the internal one. Also not sure I can wait until 12 weeks. @Squiff70 that’s lovely news - you’ve been through so much I do hope you can enjoy some of this pregnancy although I expect it will be a worrying time for you.

@20TinkerBell20 I had a suspected eptopic, I was getting bad stabbing pains and had a really achy shoulder. Phoned 111 and they advised I go to A&E to be checked over. After spending a good few hours in the waiting area they admitted me over night as they had booked me an emergency scan the following day to see where it was basically. I had to go on a drip to keep my levels up in case I needed surgery so they wouldn't let me eat. But I had my scan and Baby was where it should have been and heart was beating and everything. I don't know where the shoulder pain came from but I must have just pulled it doing something. And the pains must be ligament pain. It's all gone now though. I'm 11+2. I didn't have an early one first time around.

And it was an abdominal scan but baby was so tiny! It really only looked like a blob lol.

I'm starting to feel a lot better than I was, I'm still waiting for my first period but looking forward to whenever we decide to start trying again.

Well everything is fine. Supposed to be 11 weeks and 6 days and I'm actually 13 weeks and 3 days!! Lol

I'm 15 weeks now and it's dragging but we find out the sex next weekend. I can't wait!

@MrsB899 I'm actually feeling really well now. So much better than I did. What are you thinking so far, boy or girl? I don't know if we should find out or not, I'm really torn lol.

@Cupcakes1234 I think girl 100% I will be so shocked if they say boy. Glad you're feeling good. I still feel absolute shite 😩 hope it ends soon

I feel like it's a girl but everyone is saying they think I'm having a boy. I have no clue though! Ahh sorry to hear you're still feeling rough. Hopefully it'll ease in the next couple of weeks for you 🤞🏼

@MrsB899 Thankyou 🙂 I'm looking forward to starting again even looking forward to the tww believe it not. I think my first period started yesterday but it's slowed down a lot today so not too sure but I'm gonna start tracking ovulation again this month to see where I'm at. Hope you start feeling better soon x

Hey ladies, just checking in, hope your all getting on well? Anything exciting going on? I had my first day back to work today I was actually really glad to be back to it. I'm feeling so much better than I was now.

Hey @dizzy85 glad your first day back at work went well and you're feeling good! All is good here thank you 😊. We have decided we aren't going to find out what sex baby is again and go for a little surprise (which is going to drive me crazy) but it'll be nice at the end lol. Not long until my next midwife appointment when I get to hear baby's heartbeat

@Cupcakes1234 Thankyou it's nice to be back to normality, apart from getting up at 5 again😆 glad to hear your doing well. That'll be a lovely surprise at the end I think that's what I'd choose too, definitely be hard waiting but well worth it.Aw very exciting times getting to hear heartbeat too 😊.
I think I might be ovulating soon, but think I'm gonna wait another month to start trying. I'm excited for when we do.

Hi Girls. @dizzy85 so glad to hear you're first day went well and you're feeling better. I had a 16 week midwife appointment yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat which was lovely. We find out the sex on Saturday. I'm so excited but nervous as well

Hi ladies,

I'm sopleased you're all doing ok!

Just a catch-up: I'm 9 weeks today. My 12 (well, 13) week scan is on 19th September, so a whole month to wait which will be tough but I'm getting really good care so far. I'm under consultant-lead care now because of my previous losses and because I'm carrying twins and he will apparently do a c-section at 36 weeks which takes us right to the end of February. I'm praying they're not delivered on the 29th and be born leap year babies, lol!

@Squiff70 it will soon come around! It's scary how fast the days/weeks are going. I was so relived when they moved my due date forward as I was sure I'd have it on the 29th as that's just my luck lol. But I don't think it's a possibility now being due on the 15th Feb
