@Kinsella82 I've only ever used the cheap opks so I'm not really sure how that one works is it the clear blue? I know with the cheap ones I've done one late morning before and been negative then positive early evening time. I'm doing ok just trying to make the days pass quickly😬 hope you get your positive soon!

Can I join please. TTC our number two. This will be cycle 4. Currently either 6 or 8 dpo not quite sure but according to app AF is due in 5 days even though that makes my cycle shorter than usual??!!

Can anyone explain how the length of your cycle alters depending on when you ovulate? Apparently it’s made my cycle a 25 day this month when it’s never been less than 28(usually 28-31) so now I’m really confused 😐

@20TinkerBell20 I'm not really sure but I've had the odd shorter cycle before I think it just happens, normally I'm pretty regular but a few cycles ago I came on 3 days early and then another 4 days early🤷‍♀️ our bodies are confusing things! What are you using to track?

Using the flo app but I can’t work out why it’s predicting a 25 day cycle this month? I ovulated either CD 13 or 15 so 14 days after that would be 29th so 28 day cycle? Not sure where this prediction has come from? I feel like I have no hope as I don’t understand it all.

I It is frustrating, I use an app too but I just use it as a rough guide as it's often not always correct for me especially predicting ovulation, do you use any opks to check ovulation?

@20TinkerBell20 also are the lengths of your periods always the same? Coz I've just looked over my app and depending on the length of my period it's shortened the cycle that month so could be that if that makes sense 😆

@dizzy85 well I have had two 28 day cycles and two 31 day cycles and ovulated roughly around the same time each month which is why I can’t work out how using previous data I would now be having a 25 day cycle. So according to app I should be due AF on Sunday but if I base it on what’s normal for me, AF should be here Thursday. Wouldn’t having a 25 day cycle make the luteal length too short? If some pregnancy tests can test from 6 days before missed period, that would have only made me 4/5dpo so no chance of bfp..... how you getting on? Any updates?

@20TinkerBell20 that's so confusing for you! The apps are very wacky sometimes for me too.
Well after 10 days of flashing smileys I had almost given up hope and then got the solid today finally!!!
Which is as predicted by my app giving me a 33 day cycle even tho last month was a 28 day cycle! See what I mean @20TinkerBell20 these apps!!

We dtd yesterday morning and this morning. How many more times do you think we should dtd??

I'm on CD29 and roughly about 4/5 DPO. Glow predicts a 38/39 day cycle for me but I highly doubt it will be that long 😬

Waaaay to early to test but I did for the fun of it and to hit my addiction -- of course, a BFN lol

@kinsella82 I’m glad it’s not just me that gets confused. It’s the long tww that is stressful and now I can’t even work out if my tww is over on Sunday and could potentially test or if I’m still a week off
I would potentially keep going for a few more days?!? Better off continuing if your can to cover all bases. But sounds like yesterday and this morning would be pretty good timing.

I would test all the time but I hate going to buy tests. I’m an adult TTC our second child but I think because I look young I feel judged which I know is completely daft as I shouldn’t care but

@20TinkerBell20 it is really confusing! Did you use tests for ovulation? I found that helps me plus I get ovulation pains so I just go by that and count the days and just try to resist testing too early. I just looked through my app and when my cycle was 25 days my lutueal length was 13 days so I think that it's ok? I'm currently at 5dpo wishing the days away 😄
@Kinsella82 yay you finally got the solid smile 😀!! I dtd on ovulation day and before but didn't get round to doing it anymore since as it's been a busy week. I did plan on doing it the day after just incase but I forgot 🤦‍♀️
@Robbo93 I'm 5dpo too! Haha my addiction is calling to me awell but I'm gonna hold off for a while..luckily I have no tests left apart from 1 frer which I will definitely save.

I’m on cd6 and still got af 😩 hoping she doesn’t stick around for 12 days this month! I can’t cope with another long cycle!

No point @LuciBee, AF started yesterday so it was another chemical. I'm seeing my GP about it this afternoon.

@Squiff70 that’s so shit, sorry girl. I suppose that’s the issue with tests showing up so early these days. If we’d wait until missed af we wouldn’t have known about it in the first place. Have you had chemicals before then?
