TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

@mynameisMrG me and DH are December baby's too.
If baba arrived after Xmas I wouldn't be too concerned, would be able to get DH a nice long break from work with paternity & Xmas holidays x

Lol there doesn’t seem to be a perfect time does there? I am a teacher and when I announced that my DS was born my colleagues all said ‘an August boy? You should know better!’ I mean I don’t have massive control over these things! My nephew is a couple of days after Christmas and it’s nice as everyone is still off work. Don’t know how he will feel when he is older mind.

March baby was amazing! Maternity leave all through the summer (although I did have to get through the
March 2018 big freeze 😱) , full annual leave pot to tab on to the end of my mat leave, and a brand new pot of annual leave a few weeks after I went back to work! ❤️

@cc1616540 I was thinking of trying the clear blue ones but I'm on a bit of a budget this month they are meant to be good hopefully they work for you. And yer I have been thinking about the tempting but I'm not sure if it will make me more obsessive than I already am like another thing to keep checking 😄

I might try that ovia app too I've just got a period tracker app which predicts ovulation.

@dizzy85 yeah, they are expensive but I might try them! Hopefully for only one month til we get a BFP!! 😋

@cc1616540 I'm using clear blue opks this month. They arrived from amazon today so I'm starting them tomorrow which will be cycle day 11. On the instructions it says for my cycle length to start on day 12. Got a pack of 20 so I'll surely catch Ov day eventually!! 😂😂

So confused! I’ve been doing 1 or 2 OPK everyday since CD9 (I’m now CD16) the line started off light, got darker and then CD13 had this, it’s since gone light again. This is technically a negative as it’s not as dark as the control line.. but it’s by far the darkest I’ve had - thoughts? X

@MrsM18 you have have had a short LH surge, and may have missed your 'peak' surge.. if you dtd around your darkest you should be okay? Unless you didn't ovulate and your body gonna prep to do it again soon?

Last month after my 'peak' LH surge I went straight back to no 2nd line at all (not even a gradual reduced line)..

@Kinsella82 haha good luck to you! I got some Tesco own brand ones today, only a pack of 7, so I'm going to use the Ovia app to see when to start testing! I haven't used them before so might need help finding out what they mean 😂😂

Every OPK I've ever done has only had 1 line, not 2 🤔😫

Thank you @Robbo93 I think you're right! This is all very confusing as I've no obvious CM like usual. I will continue testing for the next couple of days just incase! We've BD loads just incase xx

Hi ladies, how are you all doing?

I've been feeling dizzy again today but have been getting period-like cramps and lower back ache. I'm not reading too much into it at this stage. Still only 7 DPO so too early even for a FRER but eagerly awaiting Friday morning when I'll do a test.

Last night OPK and then today's results.. with Glow still predicting ovulation to be 2 days away? 🥴

@Robbo93 I'd say your app is correct. That's not a blazing positive OPK but it almost certainly will be tomorrow. We usually ovulate the day AFTER that blazing positive meaning Glow is probably correct. Start DTD now if you can. Good luck and enjoy!

@Squiff70 but it looks like it's getting fainter to me (the app makes them look a bit darker) ..

Hiya, only just starting first cycle of TTC. Me and the DH thought we had it all planned, then an unexpected diagnosis of a long term health condition for me put us 2 years behind where we wanted to be! Only just came off the pill, and my hormones are all over the place. Find it hard not talking to anyone about the excitement!

@Robbo93 those OPK's are looking really good. When I fell pregnant with my daughter that's about as dark as mine got, I never had the blazing positive. X

My tests arrived today, along with AF so next cycle i’ll be trying the opk’s! Hope everyone is doing well :)

My monitor doesn’t register peak time for the first month you use it as it is just logging my levels and figuring them out. Having to go off other signs this month which is a bit frustrating as it’s so much less accurate. Should have started tracking last month but stocks are so expensive!

I'm only 7 DPO but my period is due in 6 days. Is tomorrow morning too soon to test with an FRER?

Lol another negative OPK this morn, as I'm not trying but not preventing either this month kinda just wanna ovulate and get it over with so me and hubby can get back to DTD 😂

@squiff70 I would probably test but then I have no patience! It might pick it up. And if a BFN you know there is still time. Depends if you are able to wait though, I never can do waste so much on testing early. Doesn’t stop me though!
After what I said about my monitor I got a ‘high’ this morning so that is encouraging.

@mynameisMrG thanks! I managed to restrain myself this morning but my resolve may weaken tomorrow!

@mynameisMrG I didn't want to potentially waste a precious FRER, lol! Tomorrow I think I'l cave, however. Sounds so strange but I feel pregnant.
