TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

Hi all, hope I'm good to join!
3 days off my horrendous progesterone only pill (bring on having non acne'd skin again!) and beginning to take folic acid, eat better etc in preparation for TTC number 2! My little boy is now 13 months.
I'm so ready for this :) last time we were very lucky and conceived within a couple of months, but I had huge anxiety during my pregnancy. Hoping that will be different this time :)

My husband and I have been ttc baby #1 for 3 years now. I have PCOS and started on Metformin SR yesterday! they have floored me and I feel so nauseous but if they lead to BFP I’ll take it ✨
I don’t think I ovulate, I use OvuSense (if you haven’t heard of this I swear it’s amazing). I also take inofolic, folic acid and vitamin D.
No success at all so far so I’m hoping Metformin works for me 🤞🏼X

@Renault5 wow ok! That's good to know, I didn't know whether you could get the symptoms and changes but then not release an egg, so if that isn't possible then yay I am ovulating! Have you and your partner gone through a GP and got checked etc? I've seen an at home test kit for my partner as he won't go docs (think it's uncomfortable and embarrassing for him) so might try that. Just not sure if the GP will accept the results of that and then will test me. I'm not old enough for my smear yet (will be in October) but my friend had one done cause she was experiencing alot of pain, they took some cells away and she fell pregnant the next cycle.
Yes defoo! It turns to disappointment as opposed to something happy! 😭

Hi! So bad that people are that insensitive to ask, altho I do think people don't realise it can be so hard for some of us to get pregnant in the first place. Thankfully I don't get that but am assuming after our wedding that's ALL we will hear. Good luck to you!! I'm due to ovulate from 22nd to 27th, so it's around 2 weeks in from my period I think.

@MrsPTTC I bought ovusense but just found it weird to use and would always forget to put it in before sleep. How are you getting on with it? Good luck to you! My cousin has PCOS and announced her pregnancy this month so keep going!

@cc1616540 I’ve been finding ovusense absolutely fine and has become like a proper routine for me to use it, I never forget and when I have AF it feels strange not using it 😂
But literally not long ago today I checked my CM and it’s EWCM which I’ve never had in my life! Ever! So 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 X

Hi all i feel pretty rubbish today shakey and sicky, I think I'm coming down with something. As long as it goes by the end of the week though I'll be happy. How's every one doing?

Day 3 of the EWCM for me. Headache and stomach ache, and had lower back ache for 3 days. Grr

@MrsPTTC haha! I used it for maybe 1 week and just found it weird😂 I guess once it's a habit then it's just normal. Ooh so happy for you! 😁

AF (I'm assuming this is Aunt Flow?!?!) came and left on Saturday so just a waiting game now!

I have the clear blue monitor to help track my cycle. Tried for a year without tracking and had no luck but have fallen three times within three months since we started using this.
I am so impatient I hate the whole TTC process. Just want to click my fingers and have a new born in my arms!

@squiff70 people really have no idea what they are asking and the effect it has of people. I've honestly no idea if i even ovulate. Previously I have tried some cheap OPK'S and just presumed they weren't working. This month i have stepped it up to clearblue digitals and still nothing. My cycle is usually 28-30 days then sometimes I get a really random 23 day or 38 day cycles. It's very random.

@renault5 Our DD took 7 months to concieve we followed an app that tracked cycles and just DTD during the fertile window.

I am coming out of the fertile window set by the app now, but the OPK has shown nothing. Clinging to the hope that maybe i ovulate late? I really shouldn't get my hopes up. Sending baby dust to everyone!

Does anyone on here use Flo? I used it first time around and found it really useful, just to give an idea of fertile days. I kept forgetting to do Ov tests 🙈

Hey everyone. TTC since January. We had a miscarriage in October so feeling very anxious and upset every time AF appears. Now on 2WW and driving myself insane! Let’s hope BFP come our ways soon ladies xx

@cc1616540 Thankyou good luck to you too. I only started using the opks last month and I just got some cheap ones from savers I think you get 5 for £1. I'm gonna start tomorrow. Are you using opks or temping? Oh and I just brought pregnacare conception his and hers to try today..hopefully it will do good things 😄

@Wingingit9212 I did use flo but when I done some OPKs I found it was quite a lot out for ovulation and period predictions. I deleted it and have been using Ovia since and find that really good

@dizzy85 we used pregnacare when trying for my son and conceived first time, hopefully the same for you

@dizzy85 Thank you 😊 I used to use some opks I got from amazon, but they never said I ovulated so I wasn't sure they were very good. I'm thinking of getting some clear blue ones and only using them when my app says it's my fertile week - I don't think I could do temping, feel like it's alot of faffing about.

Ooh, were using boots' own brand ones, we used them before but we've started to use them again this cycle, hoping they make a difference 🤞

I use Flo as an app but have seen a few people on here saying it can be quite alot out, so have downloaded Ovia and am going to use both (god help me) to see if there's much difference X

Crikey, loads to catch up on! Af finished Friday but I’m still getting spotting? Which is new. Hope it doesn’t go on too much longer!

I'm usually SO regular, 27 day cycle - ovulation pains around the 14th day, CM is usually really consistent.

Second month of trying and I've literally had no CM, all negative OPK and I'm CD15 No CM surely means i won't fall? Xx

CD15 for me, this is my current OPK. Glow predicted I'd ovulate today but has now pushed it back to Wednesday based on this test xx

@MrsB899 with 7 birthdays in December and 6 in January I don't think it will be very good timing 🤣 especially if I had a baby early and it came on Xmas day!

@Robbo93 funny you should say that, I was laid in bed last night trying to work out if it was too early to avoid a Christmas baby! My DS was three weeks early so it could be cutting it close! I’m born in December and always hated it being so close to Christmas

My sister tried to avoid a Christmas baby her son ended up coming Boxing Day 😆
