TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

Ah everyone your making me excited it was straight after don't worry I didn't wait for it to be an evaporation line. I kept looking back thinking am I making it up??? I just went to town and gor a first response and Superdrug to try should I wait a couple
Days? Xx

Hi everyone, just got back from holiday. Got four days of flashing smileys but only got to DTD once - the day before I got a static!
Gutted now as think I've probably missed my chance, DH was away and then ill, so I think we possibly DTD 2-3 days before actual ovulation.
I suppose there's still a chance.

Good luck to anyone testing and commiserations to anyone who's had a BFN :( it's so horrible. I would reply to everyone individually but since I've been gone it's been really busy on here!

🤗🤗 I'm trying not to get two excited! Before I went to the shop I used an ovulation stick I had! I just wanted see what it did as I ready some people got positive readings and ended up being pregnant so I did and got this ..... but I Spode this means nothing because it is an ovulation year! I have to try hold off to do another pregnancy test for at least a couple days don't your think? @MrsB899

@LITTLEPICKLES88 I definitely saw a line on the first phot, but the OPK I would say is negative as it's not as dark as the control line. X

@LITTLEPICKLES88 I think if you got a positive a cheapie then I'm sure a FRER will give you a nice juicy line!! I would probably test tomorrow FMU but I've got issues lol x

@LITTLEPICKLES88 It's hard isn't it! I'm so gutted that my faint line has turned into BFN  kinda wish I didn't check, but I suppose a little bit of hope helps this journey massively! I'm the same @MrsB899 living through other people right now Grin I feel so pregnant, it's bugging me!

I have started using my opks from Tesco and the PreMom app says they're low readings, what sort of thing should I be looking for and can get excited about?!

I think (and please correct me someone if I’m wrong) that both lines need to be as dark as each other?

@cc1616540 They do need to be as dark as each other, I find it so confusing as the darkness of mine change constantly! But you'll definitely know when the test line is as dark as control. Keep testing x

Oo okay thanks @MrsM18 and @mynameisMrG. I'm due to ovulate Thursday according to my app, I'll keep testing and see what happens!
I've never had 2 lines before so feel much better already- especially because it's getting darker.

@cc1616540 Thursday sounds about right looking at those OPKs but you need to be DTD now every day until Friday if you can.

@Squiff70 really every day? We have been DTD every other day since AF left, I read somewhere that the swimmers cant regenerate if you do it everyday! I really don't want to miss this chance, 2 years is long enough!

@cc1616540 they say every other day is enough but multiple times a day is too frequent. I'd recommend once a day but put your bum on a pillow and get your legs up afterwards. Now get off Mumsnet and go jump on DH/DP, lol!

@squiff our doctor told us every other day means better sperm quality... don’t know how true that is!

Yeah, but every other day risks missing that precious window! I dunno, it's open for debate I think.
