TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

I’m with you on that @MrsB899. Im 2DPO and trying to work out if it is too early to test 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have no patience

MrsM18 · 22/04/2019 19:50

I'm the same!! Did another test this afternoon BFN! Will try with FMU - I'm absolutely convinced I'm pregnant but don't even know when I bloody ovulated lol I need to calm the hell down!

mynameisMrG · 22/04/2019 19:57

I’m so glad I’m not the only one here

LITTLEPICKLES88 · 22/04/2019 20:07

Yet another BFN today, my sister has arrived to stay the week and she mentioned my huge boobs! This evening I feel really sick but still hungry! It's like I'm having every sign possible but no BFP Sad

MrsPandigital · 22/04/2019 20:15

I'm feeling really sick too this evening...from all the easter eggs I've demolished GrinWink

Squiff70 · 22/04/2019 20:51

Can anyone tell me which CB ovulation monitor gives the flashing and static smilies, please? I can't find them on Amazon.

Jasmine7823 · 22/04/2019 21:31

Hi my partner has a 13 year old and I have a 10 year old and 9 year old and we have just decided to try for one of our own I'm so excited and want to shout it from the roof tops but scared it might not happen too. Fingers crossed it will all be fine. Good luck everyone x

mynameisMrG · 22/04/2019 21:32

Hi @Jasmine7823, how exciting, where are you in your cycle?

Jasmine7823 · 22/04/2019 21:42

Hi #mynameismrg this will be my first month of trying but I'm so impatient I've wanted this for the last 2 years but OH wasn't ready x

mynameisMrG · 22/04/2019 21:48

I’ve never met a woman TTC who wasn’t impatient so you are amongst good company here!

Robbo93 · 22/04/2019 21:51

@Squiff70 it's the 'advanced' digital ovulation rather than just standard digital x

Squiff70 · 22/04/2019 21:53

Thanks @Robbo93, I'll have another look.

Kinsella82 · 22/04/2019 22:25

Was just coming on to answer you @Squiff70
Did you find them on amazon? I got a box of 20 and I've now only used 6 and got my static.
Does anyone know if I don't get pregnant can I keep using the sticks I didn't use and the reader also for next cycle?

Another opk question. I got my static smiley this morning so I know ovulation can occur 12-36 hours after the static so when do I start counting dpo do you think?

Fingers crossed that line is still there tomorrow @MrsM18
And @Squiff70 Sending lots of hugs xx

Squiff70 · 22/04/2019 22:33

Yes @Kinsella82 I found them thanks. Don't have £30 spare at the mo as we're saving for a holiday and I have recently bought 30 internet cheapie OPKs which need using up first but I've bookmarked the page. Thanks for the hugs - much needed today. Feeling rather sorry for myself tonight.

Kinsella82 · 22/04/2019 22:40

@Squiff70 be kind to yourself. It's not at all easy to get this far each month to not get pregnant. It hit me hard last month but after a few days you'll bounce back with newly regained positivity xx

Squiff70 · 22/04/2019 22:42

It's probably just PMS, although it doesn't feel like it is! AF is due tomorrow and I'll be glad when it hits so I can start a new cycle at least. I feel bloated and my boobs feel massive!

MrsM18 · 23/04/2019 06:31

BFN on two different tests Sad

Trying not to get too down, I'll probably take my positive OPK on CD21 so now I'd technically be 1/2DPO. I was hoping the late positive OPK would be a BFP on HPT due to that faint line, but must have been an evap unfortunately. Only dtd once around late ovulation because of suspected thrush and workingSad least I know for next month that's it wayyyyy later than first thought.

mynameisMrG · 23/04/2019 07:17

Sorry to hear that @MrsM18

LITTLEPICKLES88 · 23/04/2019 10:16

Hey everyone so I did one of the tiny sticks and I don't know if I'm seeing lines now I'm so crazy

TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY
Squiff70 · 23/04/2019 11:07

@MrsM18 If you're only 1/2 DPO now then a HPT won't show a positive for about 20 days yet. Sorry if I've misread your post or misunderstood something. Eithe way you're not out yet!

@LITTLEPICKLES88 That does look like a faint second line. How long was it between doing the test and taking the photo? Best of luck to you for a stronger line in a couple of days!

Squiff70 · 23/04/2019 11:07

@MrsM18 10 days, not 20 - typo, sorry!

MrsM18 · 23/04/2019 11:13

@Squiff70 It is an odd one, but I thought I ovulated around CD13 like usual - then on CD21 i had cramps so thought I'd do an OPK, which I had a blazing positive. My friend stupidly put it in my head that OPK can sometimes pick up HCG so I did a clearblue pregnancy test and it had a faint line (posted photo on this thread). Since then it's been BFN so I guess it was an evap, so I'm going to take the blazing OPK as very late ovulation. Does any of that make sense? Lol.

@LITTLEPICKLES88 I can definitely see something!

Squiff70 · 23/04/2019 11:25

@MrsM18 Yes it makes sense. Unusual to ovulate that late in a cycle perhaps but not uheard of. I'd try not to test for another 2-3 days then try another HPT/FRER.

AF is due for me today. HPT yesterday was a BFN so I'm almost out for this month :( I just want it to hurry up and start now and not be hanging on waiting for several more days.

MrsM18 · 23/04/2019 11:30

@Squiff70 Yep, does seem unusual - especially for me as I have had regular 27 day cycles for well over a year now so ovulating that late just wouldn't make sense. I agree that I'm going to hold off testing for a few days, it's bought me unnecessary hope / upset so I need to stop! I'm due on Sunday so just need to wait for then really.

I'm sorry to hear that, but you're still not out - I know I've said it before and it's easy for somebody else to say but hopefully AF doesn't show her face. Are you usually quite regular with coming on?

Squiff70 · 23/04/2019 11:37

Yes, regular as clockwork normally but haven't had many periods since I've been off the pill last August as I got pregnant in September, lost the babies in January, bled for 5 weeks, had a 'normal' period 4 weeks later then had what I think was a chemical after that (very very light bleeding for three days) then four weeks after that, a normal period. If I'm about to have another 'normal' period then it should start today, or tomorrow at the latest.
