TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

The last two times I was pregnant we dtd every other day, I think as long as you do know when your fertile window is you’re okay but if you’re not sure every day is probably better?

I think that's what I was driving at, yes, I just didn't do a very good job of it!

It would be so much easier if it was just a case of CD Xx Will definitely get you knocked up if you dtd that day

@Squiff70 @Aberforthsgoat True I guess! I think I'll continue with the opks and then maybe DTD weds, thurs, fri then see what changes then. Will definitely make sure we do when it is peak though / same colour! Thanks for all the advice!

I'd say ether way is good! If you've got enough energy then go every day we did every other with DD and so far done every day this time round! Although I'm a bit confused with my ovulation so I think we stopped too early!

There's definitely two different schools of thought regarding every other day and every day. It's so bloody hard to know. I think I Ov last night/this morning. Dtd this morning, last night, yesterday morning and Sunday so I'm just hoping it's enough and at the right time. Is there any point doing it again tonight? I think I read the egg lives for 6-12 hours so if it was last night or this morning then that's passed. Should I do more opks or can I trust cb digital ones? Ohhhh I hate this!! Roll on two weeks time!!

Sorry that should've read that we dtd Sat morning, yesterday morning, last night and this morning. I hope skipping Sunday didn't do any damage!

Unfortunately my DH isn’t up to DTD every day. He leaves for work at 5am and is shattered when he gets home. I don’t have much hope for this month as I only had one day of ‘high’ and then straight to peak. Usually have three days of high and then peak so we only managed to DTD twice. It’s only the first month TTC so I shouldn’t be too disappointed if it isn’t our month but I’m so impatient!!

same here mynameis I think both of our sex drives have chilled a bit which is fine, but when you’re TTC you feel like you must be at it constantly in the fertile week. It kind of kills the mood for me and I find then that’s the only week we dtd which feels like it’s very templates and routine!! It’s such a weird thing really, and then of course if you get a bfp you either don’t want dh to even LOOK at you or go through phases where you’re quite up for it and dh is worried that his super penis might hurt the baby
The whole TTC journey is a rollercoaster isn’t it!

It's odd no matter how many times I've been here I still get excited and hopeful at this stage. I know I haven't been trying that long.

I had a big chat to dh the other day. He can't understand why I am getting upset when af arrives etc. He thinks we should "just forget about it and when it happens it happens be it 6 months or two years"... I got very upset trying to explain to him how it is for me. As a woman. He said he doesn't think about it at all until I talk about it and that reminds him. I know he's busy etc but it's frustrating for him to say sure let it take as long as it takes. He was basically saying stop worrying about timing etc?!

In saying all that he is great as in he will never not want to dtd so I know I'm lucky that way

Absolutely @Aberforthsgoat. We even joked the other day that it will be nice once we’ve finished making our family that sex can become fun again! It does seem very prescribed when TTC!

kinsella that is tough - I think for us, we feel all the hormonal changes each month so we CAN’T not think about it even if we wanted to. Plus we are the ones who have to test to track... so we can’t really put it at the back of our minds
I have to say tracking makes me feel better in one way - that I know I’m getting the right timing - but also I hate it because I hate feeling like we have to have sex at a certain time, and that I’m constantly weeing on sticks
Oh to just be chilled and go with the flow and throw tracking out the window

Hi ladies... been on the low down and just reading for the last few weeks. Felt down after at showed up but feeling better now.
Been taking evening primrose and omega 3 to try and bring ovulation forward.
But now I'm confused. I was doing Clearblue advanced opk and the internet cheap ones. Got my static face yesterday on the Clearblue after a flashing the day before but negative on the internet cheap ones. Not sure if I missed the surge on the cheap ones or if the Clearblue is wrong? Any advice?? Xx

Only knows how much longer it will take. And I know I'm "only" 36 but time is slipping away too. We decided to stop the pill in order to TRY! I'm like you, at least POAS I can feel some what In control of certain aspects.
I still don't know how we conceived our other two - luck must've been very much on our side then

I’m 35 and this is our first so I’m starting to feel the pressure! I think that’s why the control side of it helps a bit, even if it doesn’t if that makes any sense!

hopeandpray is it your first month using the clear blue? I had the same thing last month but this month I had opks and clear blue giving the same result

@Aberforthsgoat not last month I used them too but they matched up last month. My cycle was much longer, so not sure if taking the evening primrose has brought ovulation forward or not 😕 we've dtd Saturday and last night and plan to for the next few nights to cover us. Just not sure whether it's right with the ic ones not showing ovulation. I temp too so that should show if I ovulate too I'm guessing. Xx

This POAS addiction is costing me a bloody fortune, I don't know why I'm doing it to myself as I swore I wouldn't can I see something here? This is just a cheapie, I've nearly ran out now so won't buy anymore unless I need a FRER. As always please be brutally honest if I've got line eyes lol x
