5 DPO+ - symptoms..?

Daydreamer71 · 21/03/2019 13:34

Hi, thought I'd invite anyone who is 5DPO plus to see how you're getting on. Anyone getting any weird 'symptoms'? I'm overanalysing everything that my body is doing so just interested to hear others views really! I'm 7 DPO.

Over the past few days I've had on and off dull ache in lower belly, on Monday I had bad stomach cramps & diarrhea, on and off fatigue etc. And my boobs are a little tender today but it's not as bad as period boobs.

I know some say it's too early to tell etc. and I get that but for this thread I'm really just looking for anyone to share their current experiences and any 'symptoms'

Timing not timing lol

undomesticgodde55 · 07/04/2019 19:55

Ahhhhh ringing!!!

Millie2008 · 07/04/2019 20:26

Aw Kiza I'm so so sorry to hear this :-( It is SUCH a headfuck. When I started spotting on Wednesday I phoned the GP, and was lucky as they had a midwife on that morning who I could talk to. She gave me the number for the EPU who I rang and they were so lovely and helpful. Might be worth giving your local EPU a ring even just for advice/reassurance? I guess it's a good sign that you've still got the nausea and sore boobs though? The day I started spotting all my pregnancy symptoms pretty much vanished plus I got a negative HPT. Obviously don't want to give you false hope or anything, but it does sound different... Virtual hugs x

Millie2008 · 07/04/2019 20:28

Yes undomestic!! Was thinking the same re keeping the thread going for support :-)

Kiza · 07/04/2019 21:32

@undomesticgodde55 I assumed you meant ringing 😄
Thank you both and yes think I'll definitely keep on this thread for sure. Had to google what EPU meant but just discovered it, will give them a call tomorrow instead of the GP - thanks for the advice!

RandomUsernameHere · 07/04/2019 22:39

So sorry to hear what's happening @Kiza Flowers

Kiza · 08/04/2019 06:39

@RandomUsernameHere thanks, did AF show up for you after your negative result?

Millie2008 · 08/04/2019 12:14

Glad to be of some help Kiza. Let us know what the EPU advise... Thinking of you :-) x

Kiza · 08/04/2019 15:22

So before phoning the EPU I took another test on my lunch break and it's negative so looks like a mc. If I hadn't of tested so early I would've never known and would've just put it down to period.
I've given all my tests to my partner now and said no more early testing as it's too heartbreaking. Have felt rotten all day and hated being at work. Going to head home, eat a ton of chocolate and an early night. X

undomesticgodde55 · 08/04/2019 15:26

sorry to hear that @Kiza Sad fingers crossed for next month. No early testing isn't a good habit but we're all guilty of it Thanks

Millie2008 · 08/04/2019 22:48

Aw Kiza, so sorry to hear that Sad allow yourself to feel shitty for a few days. Hope your partner’s looking after you. I feel exactly the same about early testing. If we all stick around on here maybe we can support each other not to this cycle x

Millie2008 · 11/04/2019 21:47

How's it going undomestic??

undomesticgodde55 · 11/04/2019 21:57

Hiya @Millie2008, I was going to update tomorrow when I have my blood test results back, was in the GP last Friday for my bloods and the results came back 204hcg (so the right amount of hormones for 4 weeks) and tomorrow I will get my next results back - it needs to have doubled ideally. No bleeding or cramps this time though Grin how are you? Is it the 2ww again?

Millie2008 · 11/04/2019 23:53

That is great news re the blood tests - yay!! Grin really really hope tomorrow are good results too.
Not in the 2ww just yet - at the start of fertile window again. Will be on here looking for willpower during the 2ww... !

Kiza · 12/04/2019 07:42

@undomesticgodde55 congrats that's great news that all is looking well. How are you feeling?

undomesticgodde55 · 12/04/2019 14:47

DTD every other day for the next week lol! Just had an answerphone message, my results are "normal" so not sure of the Hcg levels this time but I'm happy with the result. Going to book myself in to a private early scan for 7 weeks. I'm getting a little excited now but still cautious.

I don't really have any symptoms yet, my boobs are a little bigger and sore now and I'm sleeping and peeing more. But the nausea has disappeared which makes me think my mind was definitely playing tricks on my before my BFP!

undomesticgodde55 · 12/04/2019 16:01

Just had a second call back (different nurse who knows how anxious I am) and my levels are now over 1500 Grin amazing news as it pretty much confirms at the least this baby is in the right place and growing

Kiza · 12/04/2019 18:32

@undomesticgodde55 fab news! Hope that gives you some reassurance to be able to relax a little and begin to get excited 😊

Millie2008 · 13/04/2019 00:04

Aw undomestic that is absolutely fantastic news Grin and so nice of that nurse to call you back Smile how’s your partner feeling about it all? Totally understand you being cautious; definitely sensible - but we’ll get excited for you instead ha ha!! So how many weeks are you now? Just trying to work out how long till the 7 week scan...

undomesticgodde55 · 13/04/2019 09:42

It's sort of sunk in a bit better now and we're allowing ourselves to think "wow this is it!" We are starting to get excited now and looking at a few baby bits this morning. I need to get into town today to buy some better bras as they are really aching now lol!

Yes the nurse is loverly - I don't think she knows me but I used to work with her partner and she always seemed nice then too.

We should be 5 weeks and 3 days (according to Flo ap) the scan is booked for the 29th at 7 weeks 5 days, I figured it maybe a bit early to see anything before then and I really just wanna see if the heartbeat is there or not.

How are you both getting on? When does the 2ww start again?

Millie2008 · 15/04/2019 23:01

Totally understandable that you want the early scan - id be exactly the same in your shoes. So pleased that you and your partner are able to start getting excited Smile
2ww starts tomorrow for me, so hoping to distract myself and NOT do any early testing! Af will be due on second day of a 4 day break away so at least if it does come along we’ll be somewhere nice having a good time!
How’re you doing Kiza? X

Kiza · 18/04/2019 08:12

I can't help but get excited for you @undomesticgodde55 😁
My opk and CM indicates I ovulated on Tuesday which would be CD 10. The older I get the earlier I appear to be ovulating 🤷🏼‍♀️ but on a 32 day cycle my luteal phase is rather long.
So now in the same boat as you @Millie2008 with the wait. I've given all my tests to the other half and going to try and distract myself too x

Millie2008 · 18/04/2019 10:44

Ah I think we ovulated on the same day Kiza! Arg, so 2ww here we are again. I think cd 10 is still within the normal range isn’t it? How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? Feel free not to say of course! Are you trying for no. 1?

Kiza · 18/04/2019 11:15

@Millie2008 it's ok we're all friends here! I'm 38, in my 20's I used to have a regular 28 day cycle but it's stretched out to 32 days now.
Last month when I fell pregnant I ovulated day 10 also so everything seems to be working ok. I was pregnant 2 years ago and miscarried at week 10, so it's only been the last few months we've started trying again.

undomesticgodde55 · 18/04/2019 12:48

Good luck ladies my fingers are crossed they stick this month!!

@Kiza I'm getting excited now too haha! Nothing new to report though lol.
