5 DPO+ - symptoms..?

Daydreamer71 · 21/03/2019 13:34

Hi, thought I'd invite anyone who is 5DPO plus to see how you're getting on. Anyone getting any weird 'symptoms'? I'm overanalysing everything that my body is doing so just interested to hear others views really! I'm 7 DPO.

Over the past few days I've had on and off dull ache in lower belly, on Monday I had bad stomach cramps & diarrhea, on and off fatigue etc. And my boobs are a little tender today but it's not as bad as period boobs.

I know some say it's too early to tell etc. and I get that but for this thread I'm really just looking for anyone to share their current experiences and any 'symptoms'

@Kiza Definitely, we're in a 1 bed at the moment, and I keep thinking where would the cot go.......

Resisted getting any tests tonight! Going to hang on till Sunday!

Kiza · 31/05/2019 18:33

@NLouise123 and the buggy! Don't think ours would fit through the front door let alone have somewhere to keep it!
Handy not to test if you don't have any in the house.. I admire your strength!

NLouise123 · 31/05/2019 19:56

@Kiza the buggy would have to go in-front of the tv 😂 Just been back out to the supermarket, looked at getting a test and sold out, also sold out of ice cream....tonight's not my night hahaha!

Kiza · 31/05/2019 20:22

@NLouise123 sold out of tests- wow there must be a ton of women poas all over the place in tour area! 😆
Did you manage to get any chocolate at least?
I was going to go for a run this evening but opted for a large bag of Cadbury buttons and the tv with the mantra 'I may be pregnant anyway so who cares about the cellulite' 🤦🏼‍♀️

PheobeBuffet · 31/05/2019 21:00

Thanks @Kiza - my lovely hairdresser styled hair got ruined in the rain 😒 hasn't stopped all day so I done a fitness blender workout at home and had a lovely soak in the bath and am chilling in my pj's - bliss 😊 have a trifle calling me from the fridge so workout was kinda moot but oh well 😂

My bbt thermometer arrived in the post today, and along with it came 10 hpts.. Caved and took one - bfn obviously 😂 nada on the symptoms front either, not even sore boobs which is weird cause thats a dead cert pre-af normally. Feeling quite good though - if it's not my month then next month I can be a bit more proactive.

Hope things are good with you? Good luck if you test tomorrow 🤞🏻

Kiza · 31/05/2019 21:12

@PheobeBuffet ahhh sorry to hear the rain ruined your lovely hairdo! But your evening sounds lovely 😊
Are you going to temp daily? I also bought one and played around taking my temp about 5 times one evening, however every morning I've forgotten to take my temp before getting out of bed!

NLouise123 · 31/05/2019 21:44

@Kiza I know! I ended up leaving with Pringles haha. Going shopping tomorrow, so going to grab some then, and test on Sunday. When are you next POAS?

Kiza · 01/06/2019 08:53

@NLouise123 did this morning and bfn... trying to remain hopeful but I wonder if this faint brown discharge I've been having all week is AF making her mark.
Really had hoped this month would be our after doing the SMEP...
Do you think you're going to manage to walk past the testing isle in the supermarkets? 😉

NLouise123 · 01/06/2019 09:17

@Kiza Not out till she arrives! Hmm, that maybe implantation bleeding, it's not fresh blood so fingers crossed! Haha, probably not but we'll see. Me and OH are at his nieces 1st birthday party tomorrow, she's adorable plus her mum is 14 weeks pregnant too!

Kiza · 02/06/2019 08:23

Uuurrggh so woke to AF, 4 days early and also had that weird brown discharge for the last 12 days. I'm never early and also never had discharge like that for so long. I'm sure before I was TTC my cycles were never this weird 😆
Having a very strong coffee to console myself as was having a down day yesterday (the usual- why is this not happening for us), bit teary but bizarrely feel a bit better today. Probably the relief of AF and at least now I know.

How's everyone else getting on? @NLouise123 did you say you were going to test today also? Hope the birthday party is enjoyable ☺️

@PheobeBuffet how's your weekend been? Did you test at all or have you managed to hold off?

@mumof1hants has AF showed up for you you? If not could be a positive sign for you this month? 🤞🏼

mumof1hants · 02/06/2019 08:32

@Kiza sorry to hear that. How annoying. I feel the same, really down about it... my partner keeps saying 'don't worry, it'll happen when it happens', but I just don't think it's the same for men at all. AF hasn't shown up for me yet. I've had a dull ache for 2 days though so expect she's on the way. I did a test after a couple of glasses of wine yesterday and it was bfn. That would've been 13dpo x

NLouise123 · 02/06/2019 09:52

@Kiza Aw, I'm sorry she's turned up! But you're right at least you know, onto the next cycle! I tested this morning 13dpo BFN. I'm not going to wait to test till after AF is due if she doesn't show. Although I've got a sneaky suspicious that I OV later than flow predicted. So who knows!

Kiza · 02/06/2019 10:49

@mumof1hants @NLouise123 it's so hard isn't it to get the timing just right! Looks like you're both on similar dpo so throwing baby dust both of your ways.
DP is usually pants at emotion and affection but he was quite sweet this morning. We agreed to try SPEM once more and then hold off for 2 months as we would like to go to Cape Town for new year and I wouldn't want to be heavily pregnant when going.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you both 🤞🏼

MaceyP87 · 18/06/2019 13:29

Hi @MaceyP87 I'm 2dpo this cycle so trying to keep super busy with work and going to see family at the weekend in the hope I don't symptom spot! So frustrating that AF symptoms are so similar 🤦🏼‍♀️

undomesticgodde55 · 18/06/2019 20:26

Hi @MaceyP87, thanks for asking how everything is going - unfortunately this time wasn't for me. Gonna step away from baby making for the summer and concentrate on wine and beach holidays WineSad

Kiza · 18/06/2019 20:29

@undomesticgodde55 I'm so sorry hon, sending you a virtual hug and hope you're doing ok. This is also our last cycle for the summer as we also want a bit of a break to stop the stress and constant focus on it 💜

MaceyP87 · 18/06/2019 20:41

@undomesticgodde55 I'm ever so sorry about your loss. Sending you best wishes for next time. Go enjoy yourself for the summer and you'll know when the time is right again.

Kiza · 18/06/2019 21:23

@MaceyP87 hi, I can't help but be curious as to why you declared on another thread your male yet you didn't declare on this thread. Personally I joined MN to communicate with other women and feel it's important you declare you are male rather than some women on here believing they are taking to another woman.
Secondly I'm curious as to why you've created an account rather than your partner.
Thirdly I noticed that quote soon after you posted on this thread and another thread a message was removed via MN admin?

MaceyP87 · 20/06/2019 16:25

@Kiza I will answer all your questions.

  1. Yes I am male
  2. My wife didn't want to do it and asked me which I happily obliged.
  3. I was using my mobile in poor reception area and had accidentally double posted.

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

Kiza · 21/06/2019 17:03

@MaceyP87 maybe I'm the odd one out but I personally feel uncomfortable with a man being on here. For me this is a safe space for women and when I'm choosing to talk about my intimate physical and emotional difficulties I'm choosing to do that with women, not a man.

undomesticgodde55 · 24/06/2019 09:36

In fairness (without wanting to start an argument) this is an open forum, so males and females from around the globe can read what is put in this thread and comment as they please.

Millie2008 · 25/06/2019 10:50

Undomestic - just seen that this pregnancy hasn’t worked out and wanted to say I’m so sorry. I felt sure that this was your time. Particularly as you had a scan that seemed reassuring. Really hope you’re doing ok and you have supportive people around you Flowers
