2WW... The longest wait

Hi, I was just feeling a bit down in my 2ww and wanted to share a bit. I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's impossible.

Im around 7 or 8dpo, I couldn't pinpoint the actual day as LH tests were inconclusive, CM got very watery one day and the next seem thicker so I'm hoping that's when I ovulate. I have sore boobs, slight backache, weird ache very low down in my abdomen, almost like an internal bruise. If I stand, sit or bend then I feel it ache.

Cervix is high and soft, creamy CM, little bit of nausea but that's probably because I'm working myself up... I stupidly did a test this morning which was a bfn so feeling even worse now!

I know everyone else feels the same way but I wish I just knew one way or another... I'm 35 so worried that's affecting my fertility too.

Thanks, just needed to vent a bit x

Fantastic news @Helensss!!!! Just keep calm, don’t go tying yourself in worry and just chill. If it’s meant to be, it will be, if it’s not then there’s nothing you can do.
I’m sure everyone of us want to congratulate you and will keep our fingers crossed for you. This is a happy time, please don’t be scared. X

Helensss · 31/08/2019 13:10

Thanks @sauty 😘 I’m going to try and stay calm, had a little meltdown shaking and some tears earlier but I’m getting on with the day now and hoping and praying 3rd time lucky xx

Hi @AutismFamily I’m ok thank you, pregnant straight away after miscarrying again so very nervous! How are you doing? Xx

AutismFamily · 31/08/2019 13:33

@helensss I just read. Sorry to hear about Ur loss but congratulations on Ur positive. I'm good still no baby my end but I'm fine with that, my friend has also told me about a thing with blood types contributing to miscarriages xx

peasando · 01/09/2019 09:02

Hi everyone, sorry I'm not getting notifications either! @Helensss I know how terrifying this must be but at the same time, how fantastic that you are pregnant again, congratulations! Just remember, there's no reason this one shouldn't stick. I gave everything crossed for you (as I'm sure we all do). Are you going to get an early scan? xx

Helensss · 01/09/2019 11:26

Thanks @peasando I feel really sick this morning so I’m hoping that’s a good sign,
I’m praying anyway. well I’ve got that appointment booked for end of September so I might ring the epu tomorrow and explain and see what they say, I think they have me on high risk so I will try push for an early scan.
Not sure how it all works! Xx

Sauty · 01/09/2019 12:36

@helensss don’t cancel your Sept appointment until nearer the day! In my experience you end right back at the end of the appointment list if the worst was to happen and you lose again. Leave the appointment open! Defo ring EPU for early scan, will be internal at this stage, but please don’t cancel the appointment x

Helensss · 01/09/2019 13:05

@sauty ok that’s true actually I’ll keep the appointment , I hope I don’t lose this one!! I know I might though 😞 will they offer me an early scan based on my past do you think? Xx

Sauty · 01/09/2019 18:02

@Helensss not sure as hospitals/trusts differ. I know mine wouldn’t, but it’s possible they may want you to wait until a heartbeat can be detected at 6 weeks? It’s an awful wait, but try not to be too anxious. Harder than it sounds I know as I’d be exactly the same just stick to the plan of being relaxed about the whole process, carry on as normal, your further on than you were this time last week and everybody is crossed fingers for you, you have everyone’s support on here. x

Helensss · 01/09/2019 18:05

You are all so lovely I am so thankful to have this chat! ❤️

Sauty · 01/09/2019 18:56

Anytime! ❤️

AutismFamily · 01/09/2019 21:13

Hey @Helensss sorry been busy today but just wanted u to know been thinking about u xxx

Helensss · 02/09/2019 09:40

Thanks @AutismFamily! I feel really nauseous and I’m clinging onto the fact that’s a positive sign xx

Sauty · 02/09/2019 10:24

@Helensss I would take that as a positive sign!

AutismFamily · 02/09/2019 10:59

Of course it's a good sign Hun keep positive xxx

peasando · 02/09/2019 11:46

It's a great sign @Helensss! Stay positive 😘

Helensss · 02/09/2019 13:24

Phoned the EPU and spoke to a horrible woman, she was really blunt and rude and made me feel stupid for phoning up. She said they won’t do a scan till 12 weeks and would only do one earlier if referred by my gp for cramps and bleeding... even though I’ve had a referral! Don’t know what to do, I might call the gynae place where I’ve got my appointment xx

peasando · 02/09/2019 13:46

What a cow! Yes do that, or otherwise go and see your GP and ask them to refer you for a reassurance scan? As @Sauty said they might not do it until 6 weeks but you could get it earlier (and surely earlier than 12) xx

page23 · 02/09/2019 15:32

I'm waiting toooooooo.... aaaaaggg

Helensss · 02/09/2019 15:36

@page23 what do you mean? Xx

@peasando yeah I think I’ll call the dr in the morning to try get an appointment tomorrow. He’s lovely so will hopefully cheer me up after that nasty woman! She was so rude I was so surprised especially working at such a sensitive place xx

Sauty · 02/09/2019 16:24

I’m not making excuses for her but to be fair she’s probably just done a 15 hour shift, been dragged from one place to another, had no breakfast and been told she’s on nightshift for the next three weeks.... we all know what the NHS is like!
Still, we rise above it, forge on, and then demand another nurse if we get there and she’s on duty. 😂

Helensss · 02/09/2019 16:53

@sauty oh yeah that’s true, I didn’t think of it like that xx

peasando · 02/09/2019 18:17

@Sauty you are so reasonable! Haha I'm like 'she's just a cow' lol xx

AutismFamily · 02/09/2019 18:47

I agree with the lady's @Helensss go to Ur doctor and explain and say u want a early scan to make sure all is ok xxx

Sauty · 02/09/2019 19:10

Oddly I’m only reasonable when it comes to other people’s issues, I go off into orbit when it’s mine. I was labelled ‘aggressive’ last week by an Estate Agent. 😂

@Helensss sorry! I had the thread going in a weird order so I was talking about the tww... I'm not very tech savvy on here Confused
