I didnt test again today as only have 1 FRER left and had to get DD to nursery! Will test tomorrow to see if the line has gotten darker and the get a digital CB, iv been having pains once/twice a day on my lower right stomach though so think I need to go in and see my GP xx

@coco Took an opk this eve and tonight, still no positive. Was + cd15 last cycle. Hopefully tomorrow. How are yours coming? Did you manage to hold for a test? Are you cd13 then? Yes ds was good this morning but a little monkey when I picked him up after work lol. Ds wears a bib but wipes his hands all over his clothes so its pretty pointless 🤣😂

@HJWT I think @pasta and @mfbroome both experienced cramping early on too. So maybe do you think it could be normal early cramps?

@scarletrose18 oh that’s ashame but I’m sure you’ll get your +opk very soon. On the 3 cycles since coming off the pill I’ve ovulated cd18, cd17 and cd16 last cycle. I do think it can vary by acouple of days. It’s annoying though when you’re waiting for it and all of the DTD and everything. I tested and negative but I’m not expecting a positive this early (cd13) judging by my previous cycles. I wish ds would wear a bib, he outright refused about two months ago when he was 22 months old and we haven’t been able to get him in one since. He likes to be a big boy before his time I think. Dh has just got home and ds has stayed up you see him, I couldn’t get him to sleep no matter how I tried lol

Yes I ovulated cd18 then cd15 so I was expecting it cd15 again, im sure will be here tomorrow 🙂 (better be lol) Thanks for saying my egg is a good one ... I feel like you just complimented my egg ha ha. Im sure you have lovely eggs too... nice and ripe (twins maybe 😂)

Thats good, it seems like ovulation is getting earlier each cycle for you so hopefully this cycle will be earlier again and a nice long luteal phase. We could end up having same ovulation day 🙂

Kept ds up to see dh too! He went to sleep after ok as he walked alot today so was tired out. Watching tv with dh now, this is my not dtd day, it really is way more chilled the sme plan isnt it

Thanks everyone I feel ok it's disappointing but I was only 2 weeks. I know what we did differently last month so will try that again and see! I'm taking today as CD1 so I'm a bit further back than I was coz my CD1 should have been last Friday! I'll start OPKs on CD14 coz I have about a 40 day cycle!! I probably won't ovulate til CD25/26 tho! I am not gonna test til my period has totally missed in future (so a week after) if I have a CP I'd rather not know! Xx

Think I will get a digital & then stop testing because I'm just buying them for the sake of it now aren't I 😬

Aww @Scarletrose18 I’m sure you’ll get a +opk today. I think I’ll prob get a plus around cd16 too. Despite the lines I’ve only just started getting some pre ovulation symptoms. I’m cd14 today. I’ve taken an opk this morning but judging on how long it was taking to develop I’d say a negative, need to go back and check. Haha well if I have twins I bet you could end up with triplets 🤣 as long as we don’t end up with sextuplets that will be good! lol but jokes a side just one little baby would be amazing. God this is hard and it doesn’t help when I keep noticing newborn clothes where everywhere I go! My baby boy is growing up so fast, he used to let me help him feed him but now he is doing it all himself and doesn’t need me to help. I’m so proud of him.
The SMEP is def more relaxed, I’m going to digress from it slightly with dh being away but have stuck to the every other day thing so far only I started cd9 instead of 8.

I actually feel ok today my DH put a positive spin on it as though this was our 3rd cycle this was the month where we managed to DTD day before and day of ov and though it didn't last it worked so if we do it right it seems to work so will try to do same again! I just don't know when I'm due to ov so don't always manage to do it day before and that seems to be critical time coz then sperm are already there waiting for an egg! Xx

Hi @coco yes I got my positive first thing this morning, just dtd, hopefully its not too late as I was reading that the older you get the earlier after sure you ovulate, so a lady in her late 30's normally will ovulate the day of surge and a lady in 40's may ovulate just before surge but dh was working so this was earliest so hopefully be fine.
Did you go back and check this mornings test? If not positive then only a day or two for yours too coco! 🙂🙂

So sorry for not replying guys I'm so exhausted today iv not been sleeping properly the last few nights then had an awful dream last night so was up at 4AM!!

It still hasn't sunk in yet, we DTD once on a Friday and I must of ovulated the next day... it just shows it helps when your body is relaxed and not thinking about it all! But that doesn't mean I didn't shove a pillow under my ass afterwards 😁😂

Hi @hjwt Sorry you havnt been sleeping very well. Have you ever tried calmomile tea? I find it good to help and its all natural. You can buy it in any supermarket.

@Scarletrose18 yay I’m pleased you got your +opk today and that you’ve DTD and are all on track. Mine was negative today, I’m cd14. Hopefully I’ll get a positive within the next couple of days or so. I think it’s a relief when that positive opk happens isn’t it!? It’s lioe the pressure is off and you can finally fully relax. That’s interesting about the surge, I often feel that I ovulate on the day of it and not after. Are you going to do the end of the SMEP method where you DTD the next day after ov and then wait a day and then do it again? (At least I think that was right or I may have got it slightly wrong).
Me and dh do the same, paw patrol babysits dh while we DTD some mornings. It’s either the latter or he will have no chance of getting a sibling as it’s hard to find a chance otherwise lol.

Night has been good, dh is away for Valentine’s Day and night so we’ve had a nice dinner and dessert and managed to DTD after ds went to bed (he went to bed later than normal again.) I’m hoping to try get him to sleep earlier but it’s hard as dh will get in late and ds will wait for him. He loves his daddy and I don’t know what he’ll do when dh doesn’t come home tomorrow night. How has your night been?
