He's Mr Practical so he's fine he says he's just gonna deal with it when we get the results! I know I'm being irrational but the physical toll on my body is worrying me too at least he only has the mental side to deal with! Xx

Cocobana · 21/06/2019 13:16

@MummyBearBoo so sorry you’ve been feeling nervous and I hope Monday arrives quickly for you and that you get your results fast and that they’ll be good news. Sending you lot of positive thoughts and a hug x

MummyBearBoo · 22/06/2019 08:49

Thank you @Cocobana -thanks everyone for your support it really helps!! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 23/06/2019 23:15

Shit ladies it's tomorrow!!!

PastaSauceHoarder · 24/06/2019 00:34

Lots and lots of luck and good vibes, @MummyBearBoo. 🤞🏻Flowers

MummyBearBoo · 24/06/2019 11:45

Scan was all normal obvs they can't tell about genetic condition til they get CVS results Friday or Monday but NT was normal so consultant said she'd be really surprised if it had Down syndrome heartbeat 162 bpm said I was measuring at 12 weeks even tho I'm 11+3! Baby was wriggling so much they struggled to measure - CVS was ok just got a sore tummy and feel a bit sick Xx

PastaSauceHoarder · 24/06/2019 12:19

Glad everything is going well so far @MummyBearBoo, how are you feeling about it all now?

MummyBearBoo · 24/06/2019 15:28

Relieved about NT and that baby is ok from looking at it but still really scared about results this is gonna be the longest week of my life! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 26/06/2019 16:26

So I had a 1/100 chance of Down Syndrome coz my last baby had this and a lower risk of Edwards and Pataus and the results came back clear for these - but the biggest hurdle is the results I get on Friday/Monday where I have a 50% chance of the baby being too ill to keep!! Found out it's a boy which is what I thought coz last time I was having a boy (who I had to lose) I was sick loads same as this time - whereas with my DD I wasn't sick at all! Xx

PastaSauceHoarder · 26/06/2019 18:20

Oh wow @MummyBearBoo, I so hope all goes well for your new little boy!! ❤

MummyBearBoo · 26/06/2019 19:22

Me too just need to make sure he's not got MD then were all good! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 28/06/2019 07:15

Soooo terrified!!!!! xx

Cocobana · 28/06/2019 08:37

Good luck @MummyBearBoo I hope you get the results today and don’t have to wait until Monday. Sending positive thoughts your way, hopefully everything so far is a good sign that all is well x

MummyBearBoo · 28/06/2019 10:38

I'm utterly heartbroken my little boy, again, is too poorly for me to proceed with this pregnancy I will be needed another TFMR - he had to genetic conditions which would make him too poorly!! Not sure yet if I'm strong enough to try again after this my second TFMR -good luck to everyone else xx

Cocobana · 28/06/2019 11:11

So sorry @mummy, I can’t imagine what you must be going through, it’s absolutely devastating, 💐x

PastaSauceHoarder · 28/06/2019 18:03

Oh god @MummyBearBoo, I am so so so sorry to hear that. Thats so unfair. Its a horrible thing to have to go through, I can't imagine having to do it twice. Flowers

Sending lots of strength to you and your family. x

MummyBearBoo · 28/06/2019 20:00

It's really crappy but we did know the risk I just didn't think it would happen twice in a row I just hope I don't all the complications I had last time! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 29/06/2019 04:24

I wish PGD was more affordable then I wouldn't have to go thru the heartbreak of having an 11 week test coz the re-implanted embryos would have already been tested but unless you have £50k lying around it's just too expensive! As I get closer the 35 (6 months) the viability of any created also reduces!! Xx

Scarletrose18 · 30/06/2019 15:50

Im so sorry @MummyBearBoo What awful news for u to have to deal with again.

Thinking of you. 🏵🌻🏵

MummyBearBoo · 30/06/2019 21:39

Thanks @Scarletrose18 - how are you getting on?
Coz I found out on Friday had to sorbs all weekend with him still growing think I'll be going in tomorrow to start the TFMR process! I'll be 13 weeks! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 07/07/2019 16:58

I've just got out of hospital today the placenta didn't come out properly so they tried for hours to get it out but it got stuck in my cervix so eventually I had to go the Theatre -for the TFMR I declined pain relief coz I wanted to be able to go home that was a mistake it was so painful that I was delirious and being sick! I lost so much blood that I had to have more blood transfusions!
I had to stay in for 4 days and they've let me come out today but my O2 levels in my blood are still low but they've given me iron and told me to rest!
It depends how my bleeding goes now but the scarring in my womb can make the placenta attach to it so it will not come out properly so they've recommended that we do not to try again naturally in case we have to have another TFMR as my womb couldn't take it and I don't think I can either- but we can't realistically afford PGD so we may not be able to have our my much longed for 2nd baby😭😭 xxx

Scarletrose18 · 07/07/2019 19:08

Thats awful @MummyBearBoo im so sorry to hear all of that 🌻🌻 you must be feeling so drained physically and mentally. I cant even begin to imagine how you are feeling.

Is there no chance of funding or some help for you to get it? xo

Oh god @MummyBearBoo, that all sounds horrendous. I'm so sorry, I can't imagine. Flowers

Cocobana · 07/07/2019 20:11

Oh no @MummyBearBoo you poor thing, what a horrendous and devastating time for you. As @Scarletrose18 said I hope there is some sort of funding or something to help at some point when you feel up to it.
Sounds absolutely terrible and so painful, very sorry you and your family are going through all of this 💐 xo

MummyBearBoo · 18/07/2019 21:00

I'm not entitled to funding a we miraculously have a 'normal child' if we had an affected child we would be funded which is backwards considering how much more we would have cost the NHS!! Xx
