I'm so happy for you I'm only 4 weeks I only found out yesterday we only decided to try again in Jan after what would have been my due date of 10th Jan had passed! So we conceived firs time to day after my daughters 4th birthday! I'm hoping that's a good sign!!
I'm 35 now tho so not sure how many more chances we'll have if this doesn't work plus the last TFMR really didn't go well they thought they wouldn't be able to stop the bleeding!! Xx

Congratulations @MummyBearBoo, best of luck to you!! I really hope this is 3rd time lucky. 🤞 How far along are you? Lovely to hear from you again!

I'm great thank you, happy to report that I'm now the proud mummy of two beautiful daughters. Smile Luckily my fearful pregnancy turned out to be wonderfully straightforward and my second little girl was born on the 2nd January. She's five weeks old now and has already filled our worlds with so much happiness! ❤️

I'm not entitled to funding a we miraculously have a 'normal child' if we had an affected child we would be funded which is backwards considering how much more we would have cost the NHS!! Xx

Oh no @MummyBearBoo you poor thing, what a horrendous and devastating time for you. As @Scarletrose18 said I hope there is some sort of funding or something to help at some point when you feel up to it.
Sounds absolutely terrible and so painful, very sorry you and your family are going through all of this 💐 xo

I've just got out of hospital today the placenta didn't come out properly so they tried for hours to get it out but it got stuck in my cervix so eventually I had to go the Theatre -for the TFMR I declined pain relief coz I wanted to be able to go home that was a mistake it was so painful that I was delirious and being sick! I lost so much blood that I had to have more blood transfusions!
I had to stay in for 4 days and they've let me come out today but my O2 levels in my blood are still low but they've given me iron and told me to rest!
It depends how my bleeding goes now but the scarring in my womb can make the placenta attach to it so it will not come out properly so they've recommended that we do not to try again naturally in case we have to have another TFMR as my womb couldn't take it and I don't think I can either- but we can't realistically afford PGD so we may not be able to have our my much longed for 2nd baby😭😭 xxx

I wish PGD was more affordable then I wouldn't have to go thru the heartbreak of having an 11 week test coz the re-implanted embryos would have already been tested but unless you have £50k lying around it's just too expensive! As I get closer the 35 (6 months) the viability of any created also reduces!! Xx

It's really crappy but we did know the risk I just didn't think it would happen twice in a row I just hope I don't all the complications I had last time! Xx

I'm utterly heartbroken my little boy, again, is too poorly for me to proceed with this pregnancy I will be needed another TFMR - he had to genetic conditions which would make him too poorly!! Not sure yet if I'm strong enough to try again after this my second TFMR -good luck to everyone else xx

So I had a 1/100 chance of Down Syndrome coz my last baby had this and a lower risk of Edwards and Pataus and the results came back clear for these - but the biggest hurdle is the results I get on Friday/Monday where I have a 50% chance of the baby being too ill to keep!! Found out it's a boy which is what I thought coz last time I was having a boy (who I had to lose) I was sick loads same as this time - whereas with my DD I wasn't sick at all! Xx

Scan was all normal obvs they can't tell about genetic condition til they get CVS results Friday or Monday but NT was normal so consultant said she'd be really surprised if it had Down syndrome heartbeat 162 bpm said I was measuring at 12 weeks even tho I'm 11+3! Baby was wriggling so much they struggled to measure - CVS was ok just got a sore tummy and feel a bit sick Xx
