That’s great news to hear, alway nice to hear happy news on here as well because it gives everyone hope I think. My scan went well too thanks for asking @scarletrose18 hopefully as you said things will speed up now and we will get to enjoy our pregnancies abit better now the morning sickness is passing.

MummyBearBoo · 26/05/2019 15:07

Glad both your scans went well ladies!! My Ms is still bad in the evening though I did feel ok last night but I can only eat small portions of food all day! I find out the correct date in 11th June when I have my dating scan a love the quote!! My boobs really hurt and I have bad rib pain a lot!! Xxx

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 11:27

I am totally panicking has anyone had one really good first trimester with no symptoms except sore boobs and one really shitty one with loads of feeling sick and feeling faint but had 2 healthy babies? I am proper scared coz with DD I had a great first trimester but with My little boy who I had to have a TFMR for I had an awful first trimester- this one is looking like it's going to be equally as bad and I'm worried it means the baby will be too poorly to keep too! I would like to know if anyone has had 1 good trimester and 1 bad but healthy babies both times? Xxx

Cocobana · 03/06/2019 14:23

Hi Mummy, dr Google says:

‘Every pregnancy is different. Some mums-to-be experience nausea and sickness in their first pregnancy, but feel fine in their second. ... If you had severe sickness though, you're more likely to experience it again. However, plenty of women feel no sickness at all during pregnancy.’

I really don’t think it makes a difference, pregnancies can be so different from each other it’s perfectly normal to have different symptoms with different pregnancies. I hope that makes you feel alittle better.

MummyBearBoo · 03/06/2019 18:51

Thanks coco I know there's no point trying to second guess coz I'll just have to wait for the results but I'm scared! Just need the next 3 weeks to speed up a bit and start to feel well enough to get back to them gym last couple of days I've felt so rough!! My DD had her Pre-school boosters today I flinched for her coz they looked really painful and the nurse told her they'd sting but she didn't flinch or cry at all!! The nurse couldn't believe it! Xx

MummyBearBoo · 04/06/2019 10:21

I hate these early weeks I don't like it yesterday or day before coz I spent the whole day feeling so sick. Now today I'm panicking coz I don't feel sick at all and I feel more energetic then I have in weeks I'm only 8+1 so the symptoms shouldn't be subsiding yet - I thought I was gonna be able to chill out once I got past 8 weeks coz the miscarriage rate drops significantly but my scan isn't til next week and people have mmc where they don't bleed but still lost a baby!! I'm really not good at chilling out!!

MummyBearBoo · 11/06/2019 11:42

So had dating scan today-everything was fine I'm 9+4 so 3 days more than I thought! Baby was wriggling around all over the place and had a strong heartbeat so will have to wait and see what the CVS shows on 24th to see if it's ok or not! Fingers crossed! Xx

Scarletrose18 · 14/06/2019 20:04

Hi @MummyBearBoo Thats great, im glad all is well. Are you feeling better and a bit more relaxed now? Do u get a 12 week scan? If so, when will that be?

OP posts:
MummyBearBoo · 14/06/2019 23:54

Can't relax yet I have an 11 week scan and CVS booked for a week on a Monday that will be able to tell me if all is well chances are 50:50 -results take 4/5 days!! Xx

Scarletrose18 · 15/06/2019 08:56

Just catching up with the messages. @MummyBearBoo I’m so sorry you’re going through this, it so stressful for you. I’m pleased your last scan went well and hope your next scan and test go equally well. I had a blood test with my 12 week scan and got a letter about a week later. Is this the same test you’ll get? I can understand after the first time how worrying it’ll be for you and hoping it’ll soon be here and that everything will be good so you can finally enjoy your pregnancy x

MummyBearBoo · 15/06/2019 16:51

No mine is CVS where they take a sample from the placenta the needle is huge!! I have a blood test too so they can tell the difference between my blood and baby's blood-,they test for all the usual chromosomal abnormalities Downs, Edwards and Pateaus but also chromosome 19 which is the faulty one I have and it depends whether the egg had the faulty one or the ok one so it's a 50:50 chance either way! I got a faulty copy of the chromosome from my dad and an normal one from my mum and DH is unaffected but if you have 1 faulty chromosome you have the condition which gets significantly worse by generation!
So far I've had 1 of each! Xx

Cocobana · 15/06/2019 17:46

Oh Mummy that sounds awful and so worrying. Pregnancy is stressful enough without allmod that on top of it. I’m so hoping that you’ll be in the positive 50 % and that everything will be healthy and well, thinking of you x

MummyBearBoo · 16/06/2019 11:55

Thanks @Cocobana and @Scarletrose18 xxx

MummyBearBoo · 17/06/2019 22:51

10+3 today just heard baby's heartbeat with a Doppler it's about 165bpm I know people don't recommend using them but my dad's a GP and showed my husband how to use it properly a lot of people mistake their own heart rate or that of the placenta for the baby's but my heart rate is about 80bpm - or people can't find the heartbeat and panic it is difficult to do especially this early!! Xx

Fantastic @MummyBearBoo I bet that felt lovely hearing that. I hope your scan comes around quick for you too.

MummyBearBoo · 19/06/2019 23:42

Ta @Cocobana -how are you going? Xx

MummyBearBoo · 20/06/2019 18:04

Guys are you on? I'm barely holding my shit together my test is Monday and I'm really worried that I'll be on my own with DD when results are due they phone me!! If it's bad news I have no idea how I'm gonna hold it together in front of her judging by my reaction last time I don't think I'll be able to hold it together at all!! Xx

PastaSauceHoarder · 20/06/2019 21:26

I'm here @MummyBearBoo, I'm so sorry you feel so worried. Is it the CVS test you're having on Monday? I didn't have that in my previous pregnancy as we decided it was already doomed at that point so would've been pointless (we had a post mortem instead), but I'd been told and read all about it and it doesn't sound pleasant. I hope these next few days go by quickly for you, sometimes the wait with these things

PastaSauceHoarder · 20/06/2019 21:28

(Posted too soon!)
... are nearly as bad as the actual event. Flowers
Would you get the results on Monday too?

MummyBearBoo · 20/06/2019 22:03

I've had CVS twice before that last time was awful it is more the results m that I am panicking about they should be received 3/5 days after- it is the CVS I have in Monday but the termination last time and all the complications during and after are really making me panic- need a hand hold!! Xx

PastaSauceHoarder · 20/06/2019 22:18

Of course @MummyBearBoo, and thats totally understandable. Flowers I have everything crossed for you.
How is your DH feeling?
