BFP or AF due 19th January

Really enjoyed being on the Christmas day testing thread even though I was out before the 25th. I thought it would be good to start another thread for peoplw to join me in the TWW since the January buses are such a long period and some people are 14dpo and some like me are counting down the hours to the TWW. I ovulate on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th. Opks are very low at the moment but hoping to catch a surge. Still trying to DTD everyday (we are newlyweds), keep forgetting to take our vitamins and to use preseed but hoping just to get lucky on our second cycle.

Af got me too. I knew that when I didn't get my static it wasn't going to work out but still hurts!
Next month will try to stay on top of opks and take it from there

Another BFN on an IC for me this morning - AF due on Saturday. So hard to resist the temptation to use a FRER!

Good sleep and feel better tomorrow @sal1987 but yeah, it's so so crap. Nearly the weekend, lots of relaxing and getting ready for next month. Sorry to hear about the other AFs too. Fx for next month!!

Good Morning everyone, AF just turned up bang on time since I ovulated a day early. Feeling weirdly zen about it. I had been just convincing myself I was pregnant so am a bit sad that the little bundle of cells I was mentally encouraging didn't exist.
I understand this process take time the only thing I worry about is what if it's not that it didn't work this time but if it doesn't work full stop...
I am so sorry for all the AFs on the thread but still amazing that we had so many BFPs xxx

@Soexciting glad that you are feeling calm. Like you have said just enjoy next month and DTD and your relaxed mind might leave to good things! Still no AF for my but another BFN on an IC this morning. My longest cycle has been 31 days so if nothing by Monday I will buy some FRER but I have some cramping today so only a matter of time for me I expect!

I have had a very faint positive this morning, .. i got very angry last night and ended up deleting my account on here so hence the added "2" on my name now haha .. but i guess the positive explains why, ... it is very faint though so hopefully it keeps getting darker.

Congrats @foreverthe2ww2! What dpo are you? I’m sure it will get darker as the days go on.

Time for me to bow out - got some spotting today with AF 2 days late. Onto next cycle for me and some wine this weekend!

@Lillianfullstop thank you! ... I am 13 dpo .. yesterday morning was a bfn then today super faint line, I have no symptoms what so ever, .. i didnt feel pregnant but also didnt feel as though AF was coming either just really felt nothing.

I am sorry that it looks as though AF is on its way but yes like you say, wine weekend and on to the next cycle. x

Hi all! Huuuuge congrats to all the BFP! Af due today and I've been crampy and sore boobs for a few days but no AF itself. Day 33 of cycle, 15dpo but still getting BFN

I had a very faint BFP on 9DPO but all BFN since . I think I may have jinxed myself as I’d even posted another thread about cancelling our summer holiday plans due to pregnancy! I’m 13DPO today and started spotting yesterday. Unusually I’m still spotting but can’t face POAS again. Starting to panic now as I’ll be 40 this year too. I am glad to see some BFP’s on this thread though, congrats to you all

Another BFN this morning and it looks like AF is on its way, so I think I'm out Like you, @Soexciting, I was convinced I was pregnant. It's been lovely having a thread where everyone is at the same point in their cycle though - I like it much better than the buses - thanks for creating it!

I was going to join the Feb bus but I do like this thread as the names are familiar!

Sorry to hear about the spotting @lavenderbluedilly - has it turned into proper AF or still spotting? I had some spotting in early pregnancy with DD1 so you may not be out yet if it’s just spotting!

I am 40 this year also so that round number rightly or wrongly looming in my mind.

Thanks Lillian, it’s still just spotting x 2 days now, which is unusual for me. I have low back pain and cervix is high and soft, but just feel as if my body is playing tricks on me!

This thread has really helped feel half sane. It's nice to be able to be truly honest about how upset TTC is making me without worrying DH or friends or mum telling me to relax or that it's too soon to worry. So lovely that so many got BFPs it really makes it seem possible and for the AFers we are cycle mates for better or for worse so it would be lovely to continue this thread or start a new one next month, obviously we will all be joining an antenatal club together next month anyway!

Morning all! Up early for work... no sign of AF so thought I'd try again and this is what I got! Will test again later or tomorrow just to be super duper sure! Can't quite believe it

So I have woke up this morning finally feeling a bit more human, the grey cloud is lifting and can see the other side. I feel like you have to grieve each month even though there wasn't a baby there to begin with! I felt like I was grieving for a life I had planned in my head and it was never going to happen. This month I was definitely in the angry stage of grief but it's time to move on and look forward to the next month!!
I definitely feel like thread should be kept going or a new one done, it's kept me sane seeing everyone's progress, good or bad!!
Have a great weekend, I'm off to live my life again!! Xx

@ glowingtwigs I use Clearblue opks they are good to pinpoint your ovulation day exp if you are irregular.how long are your cycles norm?

Defo think we shud start a new thread for us that weren't so lucky to get a bfp. As it takes me ages to scroll down to the bottom of this 1.

I think I'm over been angry and just thinking it all happens for a reason, got to stay positive if we want that positive?!!!

@Baba11 my cycles are regular at 26-28 days, before m/c they were usually slightly longer. I generally ovulate between cd 11-14 (based on ovulation pain and positive opk cheapies)... last month didn't get a positive or much pain so not sure I ovd last month. Just want to try something a bit more scientific and get to know more fertile days. Scared to not get a static tho...

Still no sign of AF here. Refusing to get my hopes up until at least tomorrow, because based on my normal cycle length AF was due Wednesday just gone, but if this cycle is the same length as the last one (4 days longer than my normal) then AF isn't actually due until tomorrow. Time will tell!
