Two week wait - help keep me sane!

Hi ladies,

I have been TTC for four months now. I actually didn't realise how stressful this whole experience is. I shouldn't have expected for it to happen straight away but i'm so impatient.

Anyway, would love to see who else is out there to join me on my TWW. I used CB ovulation tests this month and dtd the day before ovulation. I had an HSG last month and my tubes are all clear so that's good to know.

I am only about 2dpo. Obviously no symptoms the only thing worth mentioning is I have been getting these weird gurgling/popping noises in my stomach. It's SO strange I've never had this before. Maybe it's because I'm drinking lots of pineapple juice which I never normally do, who knows! What are you all doing to keep yourself occupied and not obsessing over this tww?!

I've booked my first acupuncture session this Friday so hopefully that will help de-stress me! Good luck to you all, would love to hear your stories x

@closedcircuit they say pg and af symptoms are similar so keep positive :) hope af stays away

@Barker26 It's such a good read! I think we all needed to see it and remind us we all in with chance until af shows

@HouseplantInvasion no problem happy it helped. That could definitely be implantation bleeding I think you are around the right time and v positive if you normally don't get it so early on. As for the symptoms I think progesterone causes a lot of them as apparently it reaches its peak about 7 days after ovulation. If AF is coming the progesterone levels drop but if pregnant they stay high but that's just my understanding from what I've read, I might be wrong!

That’s interesting @sav89 - it’s amazing how much more you notice the progesterone induced symptoms when ttc isn’t it!! They definitely feel way worse than usual, especially the boobs!

Hi all, Sorry to jump on here but I'm new to this site. I'm now half way through my 2 ww! I think! I am going crazy, I have been nauseous for a week now which is not like me, I've been constipated and can't stop burping lol again not like me lol. I don't if it's all in my head tho. Hubby n I are trying to conceive no 2. I think I'm due on Monday and have a twin pack of frer 6 days sooner sitting in the bathroom! I am sooo tempted! Should I test or should I wait!!! 🙈

Can I jump in here? I had a MMC in September and then AF arrived exactly 4 weeks after that. So my OPK was strong positive on CD17! I know cycles can be a bit strange after a MC so I'm not worried that it was so late in cycle. We dtd all month pretty much every other day and every day over ov time. Before my MC I was a 26cycle with no changes and today for me is CD 27. No AF yet but I keep getting very faint lines on First Response! I've taken so many 😂 but it's not getting clearer over the last few days. Could be that it's only 10 dpo or that I'm going line eye crazy! Can anyone see a second line?

@Barker26 yes yours looks the same as what I'm getting!! I've been getting this for the last 3/4 days and it's not getting much darker... when, if it's a bfp, should it start getting darker?! I'm 10 dpo and it's driving me crazy!! I have a tingly feeling in my abdomen but I might just be going mad 😂

@pinklady89x this is the first one I've had and I think I'm between 13 and 15dpo so I'm really not sure! I've done loads of frers in previous cycles and never had a line though just blank white so I'm hopeful! I have no symptoms other than bad back and achy boobs, my last 2 cycles were 25 days and I'm day 28 so i have no idea what's going on!! When are you next going to test ?

@Barker26 well I've not been able to help myself and I've been testing everyday with a first response! It's difficult for me because I was still getting a positive test at the start of October from my MMC at the end of aug! It took weeks and weeks for it to go down for me! I got a negative finally this month and following that I had very strong OPT that lasted for about 3 days so I'm assuming because I got to 0 HCG that I ovulated then. But now I'm CD 27 and I always come on on CD 26! Ahh it's driving me crazy! I don't really have any symptoms and with my last pregnancy I didn't apart from achy boobs but that wasn't until maybe 5 weeks gone! I didn't have anything early so it's just so hard to know! Wishing you lots of luck but if you're due AF and she hasn't come then that's surely positive!
I think I'll test again tomorrow! I have gone through SO many tests! So expensive!!!

@sav89 i know im kind of holding out on what i experienced with my first which was minor AF symptoms that went away the closer AF was due!

@Houseplantinvasion hug that sucks. hopefully its just too early yet. So hard to stay positive when you see it completely blank.

I took a test too. I saw a right squinter but think it was an EVAP, it had no colour whatsoever. Tomorrow evening i may try again.

Yay @Barker26 ! That looks very promising to me! I might wait until tomorrow morning and if AF hasn't come, I'll take another one. Are you going to test again tomorrow or are you happy with your second line now? Congratulations xx

@barker26 congrats ! How many dpo are you ? Just to pre warn you if you're super early it won't show on a digital yet, so I'd maybe wait a few more days ! I made the mistake of doing a digital too early and it confused me so much !
