Two week wait - help keep me sane!

Hi ladies,

I have been TTC for four months now. I actually didn't realise how stressful this whole experience is. I shouldn't have expected for it to happen straight away but i'm so impatient.

Anyway, would love to see who else is out there to join me on my TWW. I used CB ovulation tests this month and dtd the day before ovulation. I had an HSG last month and my tubes are all clear so that's good to know.

I am only about 2dpo. Obviously no symptoms the only thing worth mentioning is I have been getting these weird gurgling/popping noises in my stomach. It's SO strange I've never had this before. Maybe it's because I'm drinking lots of pineapple juice which I never normally do, who knows! What are you all doing to keep yourself occupied and not obsessing over this tww?!

I've booked my first acupuncture session this Friday so hopefully that will help de-stress me! Good luck to you all, would love to hear your stories x

Sav89 thank you 😘 I got a blood test form for projesterone last month and still haven't been the doctor put my cycle at 21 days and I think said for me to go on cycle day 14 but this month has been a 25 day cycle when would I be best to go for it? X

Lauraliverpool if your AF started today you are on cd1 so i would say go in 14 days from today :) I'm guessing he wants you to do it around or just after ovulation

AF hasn't arrived for me yet ! I am so impatient, if it's going to come I just want it over with. Due today so it'll probably come but it's usually here when I wake in the morning . Very very faint lines yesterday and today, so faint I assume evap but the wait is killing me 🙈

ReginaPhalange89 Omg your still not on andddd your getting faint positives...I think you might be pregnant! I've done so many pg tests and never had faint lines (except for the time I was pregnant). Never had evap lines and I've done a lot of tests. Are you using FRER?

@sav89 the tests are cheap "one step" tests from Amazon that someone recommended , they're the ones in the sticks rather than the strips, yesterday I had a faint faint line so dipped a frer and nothing on the frer! 🙈 I got another super faint line on the other cheapy this morning but I didn't have another frer

Frers are supposed to be really sensitive so I'm assuming if I was then I'd have gotten a result with one ? So I'm just assuming the faint lines are evaps ! They're quite hard to see, hard to tell if there's even any colour . I'll wait a few more days if AF doesn't turn up. I'd expect darker lines at this point, 15 days after ovulating ! Unless I didn't implant til late, I'm not sure how it works 🙈

I think I'm out - in getting AF type back pain and some brown tinged discharge earlier which always comes a day or two before AF :( onto cycle 14.

@ReginaPhalange89 did you test again this morning?! I guess maybe you did implant late and it’s only just starting to show up...fingers crossed!

I am 7dpo and have loads of symptoms, really sore tingly boobs, a few cramps, feeling nauseous, backache, and funny taste in my mouth! However, I’ve been utterly convinced previously due to having loads of “symptoms” and AF always arrived right on time, so I’m not getting my hopes up yet. Plus it’s crazy early to be feeling anything so is probably all in my head anyway

@ReginaPhalange89 Hmm yeah i see what you mean. Just odd your AF hasn't turned up yet! Deffo keep on testing. I did one today and got a bfn. Not looking good for this month although am only 7-8dpo.

Im out ladies 🙈 arrived last night ! Bit gutted but I guess I can't be too disappointed, was only the first month trying. Fingers crossed for Next month !

@Houseplantinvasion wow tons of symptoms for you!! Hope they lead up to that BFP. I usually look out for loads of symptoms and have a million and one before AF arrives. This time nothing. I'm hoping it's a good thing for me!

@sav89 ahh its so crappy to see a negative test even if you know its too early. Im at 7dpo today but we can still be at the implantation stage. I hope it turns into a BFP for you

I’ve just tested this morning on a FRER and bfn. I’m 8dpo and I reckon that with as strong as my “symptoms” have been, if I was pg then it should show up on a test now! So I guess it’s probably all in my head...again . Still, AF not actually due until Monday or Tuesday so it is ridiculously early!

When will you test @closedcircuit? Are you going to be sensible and wait?!

@Houseplantinvasion its not over yet!! Its much easier emotionally to just wait for AF to turn up without the early testing but you really do have to be in the right mindset. This month ive had itchy feet since 3dpo its terrible. AF due next thursday so if I get to sunday it will be a miracle!!

Hey closedcircuit that's what I keep reminding myself! Atleast I can start testing everyday now lol I've got a sore throat and boobs slightly different but still not confident for this month! Have you got any symptoms? When are you testing?

I’ll be testing daily now too, but I do know I’m ok with seeing bfn’s - I enjoy the “thrill” of watching the stick develop and wondering “what if”, but I never actually expect to see a line. I’ve had loads of evaps in the past so I won’t trust any line that you have to search for/tilt/shine a light to see.

I'm 10dpo, haven't tested yet! Feeling really sick but also cramping so could be AF on the way.

Ooh when are you going to test @EvieV28? Or are you being sensible and waiting for AF?

So af is due today nothing as of yet... feel a bit sick also ! Haven't tested for a few days and I was sick of seeing bfn and also my cycle is irregular so i could be 12dpo or more depending on when i ovulated..... ! How is everyone getting on?

@sav89 no proper symptoms from what i can tell! I have low back pain but thats nothing new i have it every day. I also have been waking up with a dry/sore throat every morning but I think it can be put down to dehydration so have been upping my water intake.
@Houseplantinvasion I think i have too much hope I really do get disappointed at BFNs.

At this point im just trying to hold onto getting to friday when im 9dpo for testing!

@Barker26 here's hoping the nausea is a good sign for a sticky bean!!
I'm just about holding on I've been trying extra hard to stay patient, have hope and keep distracted!
