Hi ladies! Just wondering if anyone else is trying for DC2? Hoping we can support each other through this journey 🙂 I have a soon to be 4 year old, on cycle no 2 and currently waiting to exhale ovulate!

@oatmilk4breakfast I didn't really have much nausea before getting my BFP, but I also don't get any PMS normally so any change in my body I notice pretty quickly. I would say anything out of the norm for you is a promising sign x

Thanks! Yea it’s weird, and continuous, I’ll be a bit puzzled if I’m not because nothing at all else to feel nauseous about...! Thanks for replying. It’s a bit of a lonely thing isn’t it, listening in to your body with no-one to ask or tell..:

TwittleBee · 22/09/2018 18:01

oatmilk4breakfast how long is your luteal phase normally? Just thinking if you're a regular 2 weeks in length then you'd only be about 7dpo if you're a week away from AF and would be very very early to have any symptoms as implantation doesn't usually occur till about 9dpo which is when your body realises it's pregnant. If that makes sense? So potentially PMS, under the weather or mind playing tricks (my mind plays tricks on me all the fricking time, even started lactating one month 😳)

sunflowerpower95 · 22/09/2018 21:53

Hi, just started ttc for baby number 2.
Didn't really have a very good overall experience with baby 1, so naturally I'm rather nervous about it but excited at the same time. Just had af for the first time since stopping the pill so I know it's likely to be a long process. Was just wondering if anyone was in the same boat as me as I have no support other than my partner.
TIA

oatmilk4breakfast · 22/09/2018 21:55

Yes not sure, it varies but you’re right I thought it would be early to feel anything at all! Ah well. Yes maybe under weather x

rollerskaterdata · 22/09/2018 22:13

@oatmilk4breakfast I don't want to get your hopes up as @TwittleBee is spot on, but every woman is different and I started getting the nose of a wolf hound at 5dpo. Hadn't even implanted yet (I think that happened at 7dpo as I'm pretty sure I felt it, it was unmistakable and my blazing line at 11dpo made me wonder if I tested a day or 2 earlier I may have even got a squinter then). I was reading the fertilised egg can send the body signals which our bodies may pick up on (although there is no peer reviewed research that I know of to support this!). It could of course also just be the increase in progesterone we get post Ov!

sunflowerpower95 hello, sorry to read you didn't have a great time first time round. Hopefully this time it be great for you.

oatmilk4breakfast shouldn't vary by more than 1 day really, luteal phase is the super regular bit for everyone. It's the pre ovulation part that varies in length (I'm a bit geeky on this after TTC for nearly a year lol). Hopefully though you aren't under the weather and you see a lovely sticky BFP soon. X

oatmilk4breakfast · 24/09/2018 00:07

Thanks! I didn’t really know what luteal phase was...had to look it up but can see that...I was thinking more than sometimes my cycle is 35 days, sometimes 28...is that to do with varying times of ovulation then? Interesting!

oatmilk4breakfast · 24/09/2018 00:08

Thanks @rollerskaterdata - might go out and buy FR test...

TwittleBee · 24/09/2018 09:05

oatmilk4breakfast yeah so now you know that you might be able time DTD better! FX a frer gives you a bfp

Hi can I join u all I'm gonna start officially start trying for number 2 in October, I had my implant out on the 14th September after having it for 9 years. 3 separate ones over the years,my first child is 9 the dr said my fertility should return start back to normal tho but I guess with the fact I'm 9 years older that is gonna take longer than 2 months this time

Ellikopter · 26/09/2018 16:27

@rollerskaterdata just crampy and just feel different lol been getting a bit of insomnia too lol how about you ?

Ellikopter · 26/09/2018 16:28

Welcome@waitingforbaby2 I thought that coming off the pill after taking it for years would mess me up but we stopped pill in May time and officially started end of August and now I'm 4 weeks pregnant lol so you just never know lol are you going to be tracking your cycles etc ? That's all I did

waitingforbaby2 · 26/09/2018 17:21

Thanks @Ellikopter that's reassuring to know I have been tracking my period on my Fitbit app even when I had my implant in and it seems I have a 29 day cycle but I suppose it could change now implant is out, it also estimates my ovulation date but I don't know how accurate it is, so I think for the first couple of months I might just follow that then if I don't have much luck I might try some other things like ovulation tests or temps but I'm trying to stay relaxed about it at the moment although the app did say I ovulated on the 16th September and we DTD that night and I've already been symptom spotting but I'm sure it's nothing I don't know how I'm going to stay sane through this but AF is due this Sunday so I actually want it to hurry up and arrive then be done with so we can start

Ellikopter · 27/09/2018 08:26

@oatmilk4breakfast how are you getting on ?

Ellikopter · 27/09/2018 08:28

@TwittleBee how are things ?

TwittleBee · 27/09/2018 11:05

waitingforbaby2 hello there! You never know how your body will be when TTC, hopefully you will find it surprisingly easy! (I know many people who have fell pregnant within weeks of coming off contraception so you never know). FX you either dont get your AF because you are pregnant or it comes as expected so you can get on with TTC

Ellikopter things are good thank you. I reckon I am 8dpo based on CM and had sharp possible implantation pains this morning but dont want to get my hopes up so trying to ignore my silly self. Did you have a better nights sleep last night?

waitingforbaby2 · 27/09/2018 11:18

Thanks @TwittleBee good luck with the TTC

how is everyone today?

Ellikopter · 27/09/2018 11:49

@TwittleBee hi yes I'm managing to sleep a bit more now which is good lol X

rollerskaterdata · 27/09/2018 13:12

@Ellikopter we're still twins then! Been feeling a bit crampy and some insomnia too. Also still have achy legs, hips, lower back and bum 😂 touch of nausea, sore boobs and soooooo tired! Like, falling asleep at my desk tired!

Ellikopter · 27/09/2018 14:48
