Hi ladies! Just wondering if anyone else is trying for DC2? Hoping we can support each other through this journey 🙂 I have a soon to be 4 year old, on cycle no 2 and currently waiting to exhale ovulate!

@Thinkcalmthoughts haven't got any advice really as I'm new to TTC I am also TTC my 2nd child after 10 years my first just happened first month anyway just wanted to say good luck

My first happened pretty quick as I was not taking pill at the time correctly so fell pregnant easy now I'm worried if it will happen that way again

Welcome @Thinkcalmthoughts all I can tell you is that we did the deed every other night I took vitamins , started end of August got BFP 20th September lol it's a lottery Hun but I finished my pill in May and gave myself them months of letting pill come out of my system and during that time we just used protection xx

See new to all this as first child was a surprise so now having to plan this time it's all confusing and stressful.
I keep saying to myself I only came off pill early Aug so it prob will be still too early
I'm on folic acid started that last week were both going to the gym to lose weight and get fit (wedding in a 2 years ) I'm going back on the healthy eating side as well and possibly talking him into taking vitamins too as his diet isn't great

My first was a surprise, your doing everything right Hun just keep doing what your doing and it will happen :-)

Just wondering does anyone buy baby things before they are pregnant I went shopping today and couldn't help buying a baby blanket, I wouldn't normally my excuse was it was on sale and I could possibly give it as a gift

Nothing wrong with that :) we decorated our spare room into a nursery before I was pregnant so nothing wrong with getting ready Hun

@rollerskaterdata I came on here being nosy, as we’d be TTC#2 if we were TTC at all, and I remember you from the “waiting to TTC” thread. So pleased to hear you got your BFP! Congrats. Hope you have a healthy and enjoyable pregnancy.

Good luck to everyone on this thread! I was SO broody when DS was 5mo, but he’s now coming up to 9mo, and I can’t think of anything I want less than another pregnancy right now! So I shall be back, but probably not for a while...! 😂

I'm pretty sure I'm out for this month as I'm due AF tomorrow or Sunday and I took a early response pregnancy test this morning and there was definitely nothing there, I'm not sad about it tho as I wasn't expecting it to happen straight away and started getting a few cramps yesterday so pretty sure AF is on the way

Hi all how is everyone, so I believed AF. Was due today or yesterday but still no show and sorry if TMI but every time I got to the toilet today and wipe there is a fair sized amount of clear stretchy discharge that I have never noticed before does anyone know what this could be

Hi @waitingforbaby2 im ok been having nausea last two days and boobs are hurting, just counting down the days as hoping to have an early scan at 7weeks.
Do you have any tests as This was how i felt so assumed i was ovulating again, and got my BFP x

@waitingforbaby2 I thought that clear mucus was a sign of fertile window ? Not sure but it sounds positive especially if AF hasn't turned up :D

Thanks @Ellikopter @fizzytonicplease i did a test on Friday and there was absolutely nothing then so do you think it's possible there could be now I won't be able to test intil Tuesday morning as I'm away intil Monday afternoon so if AF isn't here by Tuesday morning I might test

I would test tomororw, you might have been too early on Friday. Let us know how you get on, keeping everything crossed x

Thanks I obviously want a BFP but I'm also a bit worried if I do as I've had a few drinks over the weekend

You can't worry about drinking when you don't know your pregnant Hun, when I was TTC I had a drink every now and then and when I found out just stopped you can't feel guilty about not knowing Hun

Thanks @Ellikopter I just hate the thought of harming baby if I am pregnant but like you said once you know you stop drinking which I will, I'm really eager to test tomorrow now as I guess I can't test sooner can I? I only have one test so don't want to waste it

As tempting as it is i would wait until tomorrow morning, then you know its accurate.

Thanks @fizzytonicplease I will test in the morning I normally wake between 5/6 o clock and so only 12 hours to wait, I will post the outcome on here

Still a BFN and no sign of AF I only came off the implant on 14th September so I wonder if I my cycles are a bit messed up because of that

I would try FRER test @waitingforbaby2 that could still be a positive result on a different test X

I did wonder weather to buy a FRER but hate the thought of wasting that much money if it's negative but I think if AF hasn't arrived by Friday I will buy one and test on Saturday as by then AF would be a week late

As for me I had a bit of a scare last week, had some spotting and hubby was away working abroad, it was terrifying! Had a private scan the next day, baby absolutely fine, turned out to be a very late appearance of my implantation bleed! There's still some left in utero which may come out or get reabsorbed by my body, either is fine. Finally seeing my midwife tomorrow at 1 day shy of 10 weeks! Hopefully 12 week scan will follow soon after x
