Hi all how is everyone? I asked a while ago on here about telling my sister about TTC as she has been trying for a while, anyway I told her today and she was pleased so that's a relief anyway I'm between 7/9 dpo and have just started thinking I have some symptoms like cramping and backache but it's probably wishful thinking

Ellikopter · 21/10/2018 19:59

Never wishful thinking @waitingforbaby2 sounds promising.

Ellikopter · 21/10/2018 20:01

Telling someone about TTC helps, I told only a few people.

waitingforbaby2 · 21/10/2018 20:31

Thanks @Ellikopter and yeah it definitely helps to tell people so far it's just my best friend and my sister I told and my DH told his mum, how have you been keeping?

Ellikopter · 21/10/2018 20:35

I told my best friends but your brave telling OH parents lol @waitingforbaby2 I've been ok thanks just been feeling nauseous this time which I'm not enjoying lol

waitingforbaby2 · 21/10/2018 20:47

Regarding telling DH mum I didn't really have a say in it as he has a very good relationship with his mum so he told her as soon as we had decided before I had chance to tell him I wanted to keep it quiet it was the same when I feel pregnant with our first child he told her within the hour of us finding out but I don't mind I think it's nice he has a good relationship with her

waitingforbaby2 · 21/10/2018 20:48

@Ellikopter also I hope your nausea passes soon

Ellikopter · 21/10/2018 20:51

Awww good I'm glad that your ok with it :) I'm a bit more particular @waitingforbaby2 thank you with any luck it will pass lol xx

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 09:08

Ok ladies very confused af not here even tho I've had cramping and little bit of brown blood on wiping on Friday. Still no AF and just had another postive OPK?

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 09:09

And the line is really really dark compared to the control line, could i be ovualting again, only tested and some discharge amd cervix is soft and high

waitingforbaby2 · 23/10/2018 09:55

Hi @fizzytonicplease have you actually taken a pregnancy test I'm not very clued up on ovulation or OPK but I'm sure I've read somewhere that sometimes people get a positive on them and they are pregnant and could the discharge be implantation fingers crossed for u

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 10:00

No not tested going to buy some today and speak to DH about maybe testing tomorrow, i know he likes to wait a bit more as he hates seeing me get so deflated if its neg as last time we were TTC i was obsessed with testing, i have not bought any this time so i didn't fall into that cycle.

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 10:01

I was so confused that it means i was ovulating again, wasnt aware they could sometimes detect pregnancy, trying not to get my hopes up!

waitingforbaby2 · 23/10/2018 10:18

I know what u mean it's so easy to into the habit of testing I was very lucky it happened first month with my son and I was young so didn't worry but this time round can't help but test I even tested at 5/7 DPO (I'm not sure when I ovulate as don't use OPKS) which I know wouldn't show anything anyway

Anyway keep us updated I really hope you get a BFP

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 10:22

It took us two years with our first, only been since august so would be very surprised if its that quick.

Ellikopter · 23/10/2018 16:47

Keep us posted :-) sending lots of luck

fizzytonicplease · 23/10/2018 19:07

Testing in the morning unless AF arrives in the night.

Ellikopter · 23/10/2018 20:20

Oh fingers crossed :D xx

fizzytonicplease · 24/10/2018 06:50

Its a BFP line came up straight awat and very dark! In shock.

Ellikopter · 24/10/2018 07:01

waitingforbaby2 · 24/10/2018 07:46

Ellikopter · 24/10/2018 12:37

@waitingforbaby2 how's things with you ? Xx

waitingforbaby2 · 24/10/2018 13:08

Nothing really to report at the moment AF is due Saturday but I'm probably gonna test on the Friday morning as I'm going away for the weekend, how are you @Ellikopter

Ellikopter · 24/10/2018 14:17

@waitingforbaby2 I'm ok thanks Hun , yeah makes sense to test before you go away /plan a night out :) least then you can either enjoy yourself with drinks or by having positive result. It will happen though Hun it's just a roll of the dice the waiting side isn't it :(

Hi there I'm so glad I came across this thread

We are currently ttc I have a teen and he has a older child. We are trying for a baby of our own. It's a scary thought as it's been 14 years and been on the pill since. Was on the combined pill then just a year ago was put on the mini pill.

I stopped taken the pill altogether the 2nd week in August and took first AF beginning of Sep. Trying to get used to when AF is due now is totaly messed up

I thought this week I was pregnant due to light bleeding and no AF cramps thought it's was implantation bleeding but have done a test and negative

I started taken folic acid last week too

Any tips and helpful info for ttc
