Darling Ladies ... I wish us all luck on this new thread (especially me!) ... I hope that we have the same great amount of graduates that the last thread had!

So, group hug and let's get to it! Wooo Wooooo!!!!

OP posts:
logic · 09/09/2004 11:28

Thanks for the congratulations, girls... hug
Hope to see you on the pg threads soon!

LucieB · 09/09/2004 20:15

CD 30 now and still no sign of AF despite 2 BFN. Wish it would just arrive and be over now so we can get on with ttc next month.

Twiga · 09/09/2004 21:03

Tex111, that's quite a talent ! Pamina3, nothing like getting dh involved even without his knowledge, how do you keep a straight face?!

Krocket and Hester {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}, hope you're not feeling too uncomfortable.

Tania2, I know what you mean, it's difficult when it feels like everyone round you is producing and the stork still hasn't visited - all the best for this month, keep smiling!

Cobweb, hope everything is gong ok with you.

Cyndii, are you still around?

Hulababy, sounds like you have the perfect excuse for a shopping spree at some point!

I'm still hanging on in here, haven't tested as want to hang on to hopes for a bit longer and am actually starting to feel quite scared about it, I don't think I could cope with another mc so soon and don't know how I'm going to relax if I am pg. Still we're cross that bridge when we get to it - still no AF, still feeling sick, chest sore. Not sure if this is a common sign of pg but did anyone else get a similar sort of cm as you get at o, and an increase in cm inearly stages of pg?

LucieB · 09/09/2004 22:03

Best of luck to everyone on this thread, I am bowing out...

runtus · 10/09/2004 08:18

Thank goodness it's Friday! At least there is one good thing about not being pg and thats having a good old fashioned Friday night booze up .....I fully intend to make the most of it while I still can, that way I not only get to have a good night but I also don't feel like we've failed so far.

Positive thinking is my new name I've decided !

N.B this will probably last a week so feel free to remind me of my well-meant words come the end of the month!

sweetheart · 10/09/2004 09:12

Morning all,

Twiga, it's FRIDAY!!!! Test, test, test!!!! I'm crossing everything possible for you (apart from my legs of course)

I don't think this month will be "the month" for me. I "think" I o'd the last couple of days. Wed dh worked a night shift so no bd there and last night - well lets just say i think the strain of all this bd has taken it's toll on dh (and his private parts!!!)

Still, I am feeling positive as I have my gyne appointment on the 29th so even if af arrives hopefully I'll get some drugs to help next month.

Big welcome to all the newbies, so sorry to hear of all BFN and af's (keep your chin's up girls - good things come to those who wait!!!!)
And congrasts to the couple of BFP that have arrived on here.
Pamina - your wicked, but i like your style

Hugs and babydust to all +++++++++++*

BeckiF · 10/09/2004 10:56

Hi Ladies - honest opinions please. As you know, dp and I have been through turmoil in the last few wekks over the loss of the pony and so bd hasn't really been an issue although we have been. Not been thinking about ttc either. I have done pg tests up to earlier this week, all bfn. However, last night dp said that my boobs had gone big and full and this morning they are sore, but not tingly like I hear everyone else say. They are like muscular sore at the top and going round to under my arms. Don't feel sick, have wide uncomfortable feeling accross my tummy and back ache. Could these be signs of a miraculous pregnancy or am I just whishing? I'm still on the max dose Metformin so it sould just be my hormones. Your thoughts please ....

BeckiF - (I am only lurking on this thread normally - but have keenly been watching your story unfold) and have to say - TEST!!!! Really really hope it happens for you soon!

BeckiF · 10/09/2004 11:59

Hi Tessie - I've been testing right up to earlier this week and still getting bfn. I may test tomorrow. Do you remember me saying about the jelly type substance I hade the other week? Well I got it again earlier this week ... I'm sure it's just my hormones though....I have to think that way though

Will let you know when I get the usual bfn sad]

tassis · 10/09/2004 12:35

(a lurker here!) LucieB is everything OK?

Twiga · 10/09/2004 17:20

Hi all, got BFN when tested this morning . The optimist in me says give it another couple of days and test again - took four/five days after being due to get BFP last time. Don't understand how chest feels so huge and I can feel so sick if I'm not - hope I'm not losing the plot. Off to Belfast for a few days from tomorrow, not sure if I'll be able to check in with you guys or not, might borrow computer at in-laws, but may be tricky. Hope everyone is well.

Ebbie22, glad to be helpful, all the best for this month +++++!

Twiga · 11/09/2004 12:11

where is everyone? waiting at glasgow airport, stil no sign of af so still hopeful. wishing everyon a stress free weekend - take care,
twiga x

Geordie · 11/09/2004 13:00

Hi Twiga (sp?)

hope you are feeling ok. It is quiet at the mo...but I am asuming no news is good news!

As for the BFN well...it aint over till that fat lady sings ..IYKWIM!! Sending loads of baby dust your way.

Celebrating our ds 7 month birthday today...having a lovely day ...and af over (great things mooncups they shorten af by at least one day!) so now we can contemplate bding!!!

temps looking regular which is great too so here's hoping this month could be it.....

Geordie

Hulababy · 11/09/2004 13:43

Fingers crossed still Twiga

Well on CD4 now. AF lasted less than a full day???? Oh well, very odd but... Started temping on CD1 and trying to get my head round it all - what to look out for, dates and counting, etc. Started using Fertility Friend too so hopefully that will help.

Best of luck to everyone this mont

LucieB - are you okay?

ebbie22 · 11/09/2004 14:09

hope the start of the wkend was good for you all, have a nice break Twiga and still have everything crossed for you...
Hope you are all ok...

CountessDracula · 12/09/2004 00:03

Well I can't remember when I am due but I have a couple of odd things - in the last 2 days my gums have started bleeding (never had that before except during my last pregnancy) and my csection scar is itching like mad, never has in the 2 years I've had it!! I wonder....

Naaah, I just couldn't believe that it could happen in a month when it took 3 years last time!

BeckiF · 12/09/2004 09:35

Well I did a test yesterday and got the expected bfn .... ah well.

OP posts:
Hulababy · 12/09/2004 11:34

Becki

Only on CD5 of first month of ttc so still all new to me again. Amazing how much you forget. Didn't do this temping last time either.

A question though for nayone who came off the pill??? I stopped taking them 9 days ago, had one day of AF, and then not much. Now have cramps and keep getting horrid pains in my tummy nad having to rush to the toilet very quickly, and feeling sick at time of pain. I cna't think of anything I have eaten/done to cause it so... Could this be related to coming off the pill?

Tessiebear · 12/09/2004 12:19

Becki F
Well after months of thinking about it, this morning DH and i have decided to ttc no.3 !!!! Feeling quite pleased that we have actually made the decision to do it.
CD2 for me - have just ditched the pills.
Hulababy - i would think the sickness etc is due to your body adapting to coming off the pill ( i know i felt very sick when i started taking it) I will let you know if i feel the same in a day or two!

cori · 12/09/2004 16:21

Oh well. AF came today. Two days early. Naturally I am very disapointed. I thought we did everything at the right time last month. I just dont understand, so easy last time.
I have also just realised that it was 3 years ago today that I had 20 week scan with DS (I know this because it was the day after 9/11, and my brothers birthday).Thinking of this , combined with period hormones making me very sad
Wish me luck for next month.

krocket · 12/09/2004 16:24

Becki, really sorry to hear that, poor you. it will happen for you soon I'm sure. xx

Sallie · 12/09/2004 20:06

Can I join this thread? Like Tessiebear I am ttc no 3 and have had one proper AF since no 2. Now on CD33 and no sign of AF although had a BFN at CD 28 and CD30. Ovulated on days 19 and 20, according to my persona. Just want AF to get a move on and arrive so we can try our best next month.

Hulababy · 12/09/2004 20:48

Welcome Sallie and Tessiebear, I have only just decided and joined the thread last week, so fingers crossed for everyone here.

Tessiebear · 12/09/2004 21:20

Thanks Hulababy - Sallie - how old are your other two?
