So, group hug and let's get to it! Wooo Wooooo!!!!

What's wrong with a July baby? I was born in July and always thought I was very lucky. Beautiful weather on my birthday!

ebbie22 · 03/09/2004 10:33

Thanks for all your messages,it really means alot to me...
I dont need to tell you how I am feeling as i know for a fact if your not feeling the same as me now,you have or will be at some point...I cant talk to anyone other than you guys as no one else understands,my dh just doesnt give me the advice that i need to cheer me up...
How come men dont seem as bothered by bd as much as we do?I am so so so gutted....Hope you are all managing to keep your chins up... xxxxxx xxx

sweetheart · 03/09/2004 10:39

ebbie22,

my dh is totally unfussed about the bd and ttc. He says he wants another baby but never seems dissapointed when af arrives.

Perhaps it's because it's not HIS body that is failing - maybe if it was his sperm that were the problem he would be a bit more sympathetic to me.

Men are bloody useless aren't they - bless em!!!
At least we have MN to look after us.

Big hugs and choc cake to all of you out there with useless dh's

ebbie22 · 03/09/2004 10:40

Thats another thing, even when i feel this low, choc cake just does not help anymore....

sweetheart · 03/09/2004 10:43

it's time to bring out the big guns........

Chocie Chew Chew ice cream with malteasers crushed on top!!!

Works everytime for me - give it a try, I dare ya

ebbie22 · 03/09/2004 10:48

I might just have too...Thanks xx

ebbie22 · 03/09/2004 10:48

Who sell it?

sweetheart · 03/09/2004 10:56

Sorry had to search various supermarket websites,

It's by Ben & Jerry's and I can get it at my local Londis and Spa shops. Waitrose sell it and I'm pretty sure that Asda and Somerfields do it aswell.

If that doesn't pick you up I'll have to think of something else!!!

Morgan · 03/09/2004 19:02

Thanks Runtus. Sorry Aloha just didn't want a summer baby for the school year thing. I know there are lots of pluses and minuses either way but it was one of my "things". Anyway it will be a month before i have to decide again about taking the clomid so will see how we feel then will prob just go for it anyway. Also the next time i will be ov'ingn looks like it may fall when i am supposed to be away for thw w/end with a friend so now i don't know what to do about that either. Whether to let my friend know or wait and see. As i will be paying for the scans etc when on clomid i need to know we will both be ready to bd at the right time. God why is it so complicated??

Well said ebbie22 about people on here feeling the same at some time that's how i feel too. I would defin go for that ice cream if i were you. I would myself if it weren't for weight watchers - this week was a new start again so better not blow it with ice cream !!

ebbie22 · 03/09/2004 19:28

Well still havent had a chance to get the ice cream but like you,I am trying to eat more sensible...Hope it helps my chances....Also I feel that bad that I dont want chocolate,And I must feel bad because usually choc is the next best thing for me...
Sometimes[and only just sometimes}it is better than sex,but that doesnt help much does it...lol..

DaisyDuck · 03/09/2004 22:20

Hi all. Can I join your gang please?

Dh and I made the decision to ttc our second child today. I finished the last pill in the current packet yesterday, and don't plan taking any more again.

Took quite a long time to concieve our DD first time round - over a year, early mc and then over a year again with DD. I hope hoping it won't be as bad this time round, fingers crossed.

From advice I have registered with Fertility Friend and going to look for a BBT thermometer this weekend.

So, here goes....

ebbie22 · 04/09/2004 09:56

gd luck daisy duck and everyone else trying this month....

Fonzie · 04/09/2004 20:26

Good Luck Daidy Duck. You don't necessarily need a BBT as a digital thermomter does the same job.

tex111 · 04/09/2004 21:27

Hi gals, I took a HPT this morning using one of the Medisave super sensitive tests. I'm just 8dpo but... I THINK it was a bfp!! It was very light and I'm trying not to get too excited since it's so early but I am a little excited. I'm just going to take a test every morning now and see what happens. Hopefully the lines will get darker and darker!

Sorry this is all me, me, me but I can barely think straight right now. Just trying to balance out all my crazy emotions right now.

Morgan · 04/09/2004 22:14

Here's hoping it's darker tomorrow tex111 !! swounds like a great result.

cab · 04/09/2004 22:21

Working on the basis that you don't get false postives: CONGRATULATIONS TEX . Have replied on the due May thread.

DaisyDuck · 05/09/2004 09:03

Good luck Tex!!!

hester · 05/09/2004 11:51

Tex!!! Not sure whether you want congratulations yet or not, but well done! let us know asap what happens with the next test.

Cobweb · 05/09/2004 16:06

Got my fingers crossed for you tex111

Keep us posted

tex111 · 05/09/2004 17:06

Did another test this morning.... it was darker!! I'm still trying to stay calm. AF isn't even due until Thursday. I'm going to keep doing the Medisave tests in the morning and see if they continue to get darker and do a FR test that I have left over from last month on Thursday if AF doesn't show up. I'm jumping out of bed every monring (so unlike me) so I can do my test. Hope this good luck holds. Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Morgan · 05/09/2004 20:29

Tex111 - excellent news today. Let's hope it continues this way.

Twiga · 05/09/2004 20:42

Hi Daisy Duck, welcome to this thread and lots of baby dust to you ++++++!

Tex111, wow! Looking ggod girl - really excited for you. I'm not sure 100% and I got a BFN today but I think I might be - took a week after due to get BFP last time - anyway suspicious as chest seems to be expanding and been feeling a touch off colour - so hoping but trying not to be too excited. Tex111 so glad you posted , reminded me that my cycle is similar to yours time wise (due af tommorrow/tues no symptoms so far) I'd been thinking wasn't due til weekend but was remembering last months dates by mistake.

Cobweb, pamina3 and cyndii hope you're all doing ok.

BeckiF hope you've had a better week and aren't feeling too sad, been thinking of you.

Piffle, hope the move went smoothly!

Love to everyone x x x

Tania2 · 06/09/2004 04:16

Sounds promising Tex111 hope you are pg. need someone here to enspire us to keep going.
Welcome DaisyDuck hope this thread brings you luck.
Ebbie22 hope your feeling better today.
Well i am currently on CD6 started taking the angus cactus and zinc again this morning. gee the thought of it just makes me feel sick. stopped taking it last month as it just made me feel so sick but thought i would give it another try. hope it works this month. Iam meant to ov around DH's 30th birthday so hope that brings us some luck.
Baby dust to all and good luck to all those waiting for BFP

runtus · 06/09/2004 08:51

Looks promising Tex - keep on testing girl!

AF has finally finished for another month and now I have a stinking cold instead. Fabulous.

Good weekend though, went out with my sister on Sat night and got totally legless for the first time in ages. Really nice to let my hair down knowing that no bas was going to come of it. Dh and BIL were on a stag night so needless to say they felt loads worse than us the next day too, which made me feel even better!

Welcome Daisy Duck - hope this month is good for you!

sweetheart · 06/09/2004 09:26

Welcome to daisy duck, and a massive congrats for tex111!!!! I'm so pleased for you.

I'm currently cd16and don't think i've o'd yet. Last month i think i o'd on cd 17 so dh and I will be bd for England over the next few days.

Haven't managed the "every other night" we were gonna try. In fact we've only bd twice since end of af that's not very good is it. Oh well here's hoping this is my month.

I have my gyne appt on the 29th if not so hopefully I'll be able to finally get some help!!
