August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

@EverythingNow so stressful isn’t it. My sensible side is telling me to wait 12dpo! I wasn’t actively trying last month but with my late period was obviously hoping I would be. Used OPK’s this month as was worried I didn’t ovulate which is why AF was so late. DTD at all the right times and haven’t been on the pill for 8 months so hoping I’m in with a good chance of it not taking long but you never know do you x

9DPO here and trying not to symptom spot but my breasts feel a bit fuller/more tender. Possibly just because I keep prodding them to check! 😂 Last couple of cycles I've had spotting at 10dpo and af the following day, so i'm hanging on until Saturday to test if af doesn't arrive.

Have decided to start temping if this cycle hasn't worked...I'm turning 37 in September and starting to worry about whether I'm actually ovulating (I have had positive opks).

@piglet81 Im at 9dpo and also turning 37 in September. Yep, it starts to feel real.... I'm think I'm ovulating- but now thinking about egg quality. I've never ever ever thought about that until these past two months. It's quite confronting actually! I just hope I've got a few good'uns left 🤞🤞🤞🤞.

Ah, @Yuzuko we're twins! It's hard not knowing, isn't it? I'm lucky enough to have a lovely 3yo but would love to give him a sibling. Had an early miscarriage last sept but nothing since then. Fingers crossed for everyone.

@Yuzuko and @piglet81 I've just turned 39, been using opks since cycle 2 but not got my head round temping - I really should!

Well, I'm out for August! AF arrived 3 days late (I should have guessed I wouldn''t be lucky 1st time) On to the September bus!

12 DPO, still BFN. AF isn't due until Sunday. This last Monday I had some brown spotting but then it turned bright red and continued as a super light flew for the next day and a half and completely stopped yesterday, no clots. Definitely too light, too early, and too short for AF, no clots, and coincided with timing for IB. I only had super mild cramps.
Headaches every day, lower back hurts, I am too emotional.
Hoping for BFP.

AF arrived at work this afternoon so hopping off the bus.

I've decided to stop tracking for a few months as I have lost the plot symptom spotting, convinced myself I was pregnant this month (after 8 months of trying) Taking a break from all my apps and Mumsnet, hoping as soon as we 'stop trying' it will happen!

Loony bin time for me, just caved and did a boots early test, BFN obviously. Time to buy a thermometer and start tempting from now on I think.

@KatBeCool that sounds promising!! I’m 12dpo and i haven’t had any spotting but I’m been getting more and more nauseous since last Thursday and today extreme exhaustion has hit me!! This happened to me with my first but I’m scared of how bad the nausea is getting if I am pregnant 😳!! Testing in the morning as AF is supposedly due but I think it’s more likely due on Saturday xx

So I’m due my period today but it might be off because I’ve only been off pill 2 months. Although last month I had a perfect 28 day cycle. I’m holding out til Saturday if no period il test. I’ve had no cramping etc which I normally get and spotting. It’s like Come on AF I know you are coming.

I think I've got EWCM today so hopefully I might ovulate this cycle after all. OPK is still stark white though.

I'm now 2dpo (how is it only 2 days???)

Stress/heat got to us so I'm pinning my hopes on dtd on the day of my peak OPK. I keep telling myself "it only takes one time..."

I've decided on a FRER next Saturday 18th, when I'll be 11dpo. I think this is going to be the longest 9 days of my life!

I'm now not sure when AF is due, because I'm now thinking my LP is longer than 14 days. I may try to hold out until the following Saturday, 25th, to crack out the CB digital if AF hasn't arrived by then.

@JustLikeTheySaid I had EWCM last Sunday morning and a Low Fertility OPK. Monday morning, OPK hit Peak. I had no High Fertility at all. I'd keep testing just in case you peak quickly too.

I gave in this evening and tested even though AF is not due for another 2 days and I’ve been getting normal AF symptoms. This is on a Sainsbury’s own label and a very thin line appeared within a minute but it’s so faint and skinny maybe I’m imagining things? I took the contrast all the way up in this photo can anyone else see anything?

That's definitely a line.

I'm only using the cheap internet tests this month as I was expecting to ovulate whilst I was away (without my husband!!) so I didn't see the point in wasting the expensive clearblue ones. Sort of wish I had now but never mind. Hopefully I will ovulate at some point soon....

@HelloBrass I had no high fertility this month either, it went from low straight to peak. I read it's normal.

@HelloBrass We're ovulation and testing buddies! I'm trying to wait until Sunday/19th, but know I'll probably crack and test early. I also feel like this TWW is dragging! It's the slowest ever, but I'm trying my best to keep busy. And it really does only take one time: last month we only managed to dtd three days before my ovulation, and it worked (but I had a CP. I really hope this month I get a sticky one 😞

@IronCurtain I can see a line, but I think the blue dye tests are notorious for having nasty evaps, so would you be able to try again with a red dye test?

I had acupuncture yesterday at 2dpo and I really hope it's done the trick. Slept SO deeply last night, and woke up energised despite DS waking up 4 times during the night. I keep swaying between feeling overly optimistic and hopeful, and absolute despair and panic about how long TTC might take this time around again. Why is it such a rollercoaster?!

Anyone else ever had a BFP after 13dpo?? Or do I just need to accept the fact I’m out this month?? X

@Lubilu28 I’m a day late on my period I tested the day before it was due. It is negative but I have heard people say that they have had a negative a day before period is due and then after it’s been positive so it is possible. Until AF arrives I don’t think you can rule it out that’s what I hope. I’m expecting AF although I have had no spotting or cramping which I normally get. Fingers crossed for you :)

I've heard many people not get their bfp until a good week after af should have been due.

I'm 6dpo (possibly) noting unusual yet. Apart from being a bit cranky, but I'm putting that down to the weather and lack of sleep 😴

Not feeling hopeful today... 10dpo. Ewcm with pink in it, so I'm guessing that's a sign that af will show up in next 3-4 days. I got the same last month at 12dpo, got excited thinking maybe it was implantation, and then af got me. Fully expecting it this month.

@Wishful30 & @Lemonsugar245 I’m on CD 29 and I’m usually spotting by now and I don’t feel like my usual self before AF!! u have given me some hope!! I have a FRER still to use so I might just wait until Monday to use it if AF hasn’t arrived by then x

@lubilu28 I’m 15dpo now - tested yesterday and absolutely F all, not even a squinter! All the right symptoms but I just can’t see it happening now.

When’s AF due for you?
