Hi @Cats! I've definitely seen people here say they got BFNs up to a few days after AF was due and then got their BFP so don't give up yet x

Welcome @Catspajamas85! Ugh it's so annoying isn't it - time sex perfectly, use things like preseed, take your prenatal supplements and you still might not fall pregnant! What happened to all that chat from the teachers about how easy it is to fall pregnant??

OPKS - check, pre-seed - check, pregnacare - check, BD every 2 days over fertile week and again on what should be ovulation day - check. I think we've done everything we could possibly have done, so if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be.

Love that logic 8days I know it messes with the idea of symptom spotting but it also makes me feel less crazy for some reason.
Additional cramping this eve after exercise so I'm thinking it's more af related than anything else. Still 5-6 days till af is due but I have varying cycles so maybe it's an early one.

KimRobs87 try to stay positive! I keep thinking I’m out now as I’ve got strong cramps so feel like it might be AF coming early, then worrying about having a short LP, but there’s just no point getting wound up about these things before it’s even happened. Just stay away from google for a few days!

Hi all, joining in at the end of the TWW and posting for hope. Just want to know if you'd consider yourself out if you were me. I know time will tell and it'll likely just be AF with a weird start, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

AF isn't due until 27/5 according to apps (T- 4 days), though this is based on a 40 day cycle and my cycles range from around 30 to 48 days I think. I've had my normal post-ovulation symptoms starting last week, so I expected AF to come around the time the app predicted. Today I started getting left pelvic pain, like a dull intense pain that lasts for seconds at a time, not like AF cramps. There was blood a few hours later, but only very light when I wiped. It hasn't turned into AF yet, but I've felt a few AF type cramps. Any chance this could still be implantation? Do implantation pains feel different to AF cramps?

I feel guilty, I caved and tested at maybe 10dpo and 4 days before af (I don't track so can only go on my app based on 24 day cycle, although it's anything from 24-28) and bfn.
Don't know why I hoped it would be different. Need to hold off until af is late at least, although it could just be a longer cycle. Need to wait until Monday!! Can't believe I caved!

What pregnancy tests are everyone using this month?

I've got frer - everyone seems to think they're the best. I'm yet to get a BFP with one! x

@8DaysAWeek I have 3 frers and a few internet cheapies left over from last month!

Update from me this morning:
So today I have a very faint line on a FRER, however if it weren't for the supposed reliability of these tests I would normally discount it as an evap as I only noticed it about 5 mins after doing the test. It does not really show up on camera as it is a real squinter but it is there. What would you guys make of this? I am on CD31 of normally about 35 and I am now 9 or 10 days past Ov based on OPKs.
I did a cheapie too which did seem to have something very faint on it but now I can't really make that out.
ive used FRER a few times over the last few cycles and never had this line I have now even when they have been left for 30 mins or more!
I think I would be 6 days before as per when it says you can test as I think it is 6 days before the day you are late.

@Cloud9889 - wow!! Sounds very promising. I suppose if you're unsure the only thing you can do is test again tomorrow morning? I have everything crossed xx

@Cloud9889 I would only expect a faint line at 9dpo so fingers crossed for you. Try not to test again until Saturday as HCG doubles every 48 hours or so X

@8DaysAWeek I ordered some frer off Amazon last night they should come today. I used to use superdrug's own early ones but they changed them and they're not very reliable now. I also have some ic's, I caved and did one this morning but obviously bfn as I'm only 8 dpo (7dpo by my chart)

I use Internet cheapies. Do you think I should treat myself to an FRER? Not for this time I don't expect as trying to get my mindset into the "it's af, stop getting your hopes up" but it's failing. Damn slither of hope kills you. But maybe for next month?
Amusingly I forgot my lunch today only remembering the snacks 😂

@Cloud9889 Hoping for the best for you! It'll be more accurate the closer you are to your missed period, so test again in a few days.

@8DaysAWeek I've got one FRER in the house, so I'll be using that one at least. I'm under the impression they are reliable as I've never been pregnant and never had even a hint of a BFP.

Update for me: In the past when I've had spotting, it turns to AF within hours or at the most the end of the day. I slept with a pad on expecting it to start by morning, but instead the spotting has stopped completely. Nothing on the pad and nothing when I wiped. As desperate as I am to test, I'm going to try to hold out for Sunday because a quick google has told me that bfp don't show up until 2-4 days after implantation bleeding, if that's what it was. My concern is that it was a cyst or something, but surely I would've had red blood? ahh I don't want to get myself too excited so trying to convince myself AF will be coming.

Just done another IC as I am at work my second wee of the day but my urine is still very dak (TMI!) and I have got a faint but visible line on an IC its still a squinter.. really hope this is it

Guess I should pick up a FRER for tomorrow!! Will be 9/10dpo. Still early but not sure I can wait longer...
