@8DaysAWeek It sounds like you did all you could, I don't think the one ahem slip up has ruined your chances xx not really any symptoms or feelings, slightly slightly sore boobs and an increase in cm but both of those are also classic pre-af symptoms aren't they so not reading into them at all. Hope we can make the 2ww go a bit quicker for you!

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 12:57

Hi not been in here before hope this works we have been trying for a baby for 18months after the loss of our daughter at 24 weeks. I am in the 2ww and I have several symptoms and have no lick at all previous mouths. I have been taking internet cheapies and today I have a faint positive on 7 tests I’m just worried incase it’s a false positive as this has happened before and it’s heart breaking Confused

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 12:58

Does anyone no how to upload photos as I would love a second option on a test I did today

FoxyRoxy · 16/06/2018 13:05

Hi @Jw89, welcome! Firstly sorry to hear about your loss, and fingers crossed for you this cycle. I think if you've never posted before or if you're new to Mumsnet you have to wait a bit before they'll let you post pics? I have 3 little symbols under my post box and one of them is a paperclip, do you have that option? If so click on it to upload a pic x

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 13:08

FoxyRoxy · 16/06/2018 15:02

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 15:23

Thanks not sure it’s going to let me tbh. Iv had a positive opk first time in 6months lots of left sided pain an now I feel sick worse over past 3 days I have done another test and the line has got darker I’m just not sure what to think of it is positive it’s been a long time coming fingers crossed.

FoxyRoxy · 16/06/2018 15:41

Positive test is a positive test! Fingers crossed for you lovely I hope this is it for you xx

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 15:52

Thanks. Il just worried as it’s a ic test and have read they can show false positive x

FoxyRoxy · 16/06/2018 18:42

In my experience (3dc, 6 pregnancies, long term ttcer) pink dye tests rarely show false positives that aren't just evaps. So for a line to be becoming progressively darker is a good sign. Have you got a frer you can use with fmu tomorrow?

Jw89 · 16/06/2018 18:53

I used one earlier and it went pink then cleared so strange. I have done 3 more I.c tonight and no line I’m so upset don’t understand how they can be so positive and then just disappear x

8DaysAWeek · 18/06/2018 22:32

How can I only be 5dpo? Is time standing still? Are there more than 24 hours in a day now? Did I just miss some sort of important world changing memo?

Blah.

KimRobs87 · 19/06/2018 06:43

The 2ww sucks doesn't it xx

@8DaysAWeek any news? Af arrived for me obviously

8DaysAWeek · 24/06/2018 17:53

Hey @FoxyRoxy

11dpo. Did a FRER at 9dpo and BFN. Could have been too early maybe. Did a couple of ICs today and last night and basically negative too.

AF due tomorrow. Going back and forth between getting another FRER but I've seen enough negative tests in the past few months, I'm just gonna wait this out.

sigh

Sorry to hear AF showed for you. Any changes you're gonna make next month? I'm feeling pretty crap about it and don't know how I'm gonna play it next time. Wish I could do the relaxed approach but it's tough.

FoxyRoxy · 24/06/2018 18:15

Oh him I'm sorry, it's not over till it's over though, I'm crossing my fingers for you! Might try pressed this month but if I'm honest I think I'm in for a long journey. Ds2 took 3 years... I might go to the Dr as I have quite a few symptoms of endo and time isn't on my side age wise. Gah why is it so tough? Hugs for you x

8DaysAWeek · 24/06/2018 18:28

Just reread my post and it's very "woe is me" sorry!

Good idea. Might be helpful to get some clarity on what's going on.

Will update on this thread when AF appears/that magical BFP greets me Grin

Jenstro20 · 25/06/2018 17:20

Even though mine ended in an early miscarriage, just wanted to share what we did different to get that far. We BD 6 times 3 times before expected ovulation day 3 days after and I used preseed each time. I'm convinced that's what did it for us x

Yakadee · 25/06/2018 19:12

@Jenstro20 - so sorry, hope you're OK. I think preseed is great too x

Jenstro20 · 25/06/2018 21:39

@Yakadee some days are better than others. We've decided to try again straight away. My two weeks are up yesterday as the hospital said to give it two weeks. My GP wanted me to wait 3 months, but I didn't like that Envy

Yakadee · 25/06/2018 21:56

3 months is a long time!! Good luck for this cycle, I really hope this is it for you. Let us know xxx

Jenstro20 · 25/06/2018 23:45

Yes, not sure why she said 3 months. The hospital just said give it two weeks and then if I feel emotionally ready, to go for it as they say fertility is a little better. I don't want to wait 3 months as who really knows how long it will take us again. Personally I think pre-seed really helped, but you never know.

8DaysAWeek · 26/06/2018 12:38

Thanks for the tip Jenstro. Sorry to hear about your loss :(

I'm now 2 days late for AF. BFN on a clear blue digital last night. This is fun!

CobaltRose · 26/06/2018 12:42

I'm only 9DPO today but thought 'what the hell' and took an FRER, and... ❤
