I'm sharing everything with DP - mainly because I do that anyway with everything! The poor man hears every thought that ever enters my head Grin I txt him this morning to say I thought I maybe felt implantation twinges. He said is that even possible? I was like I don't know tbh! I told him I was POAS on Sunday even though it was unlikely and he laughed at me being crazy right out of the gate Cycle 1. Then he came into the bathroom to see the result and he was disappointed, which was nice, you know what I mean. The novelty might wear off for both of us soon though ha!

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:03

@Fredthespider - it's scary isn't it! It feels like the longest time too! I'm 5dpo so not far behind you. Good luck x

@Frizzy1986 we ttc for 3 years for #2 so he heard it all by the end, this time round I had an "are you ovulating?" On the day I actually ov last week but I don't usually tell him much. I leave my opks in the bathroom because I like to check line progression and he must look at them or he wouldn't have asked haha!

@KimRobs87 some exciting symptoms there!

FoxyRoxy · 21/05/2018 21:21

@starsandstuff when I was 14dpo with #2 and had had a 1-2 on a CBD I turned round to dh and said "I'm so burpy, it must be a pregnancy symptom" and he proper scoffed at me so now I tell him next to nothing! And it totally was a pregnancy symptom, I had horrific heartburn the whole way through.

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:28

@FoxyRoxy - I'd love to not get my hopes up but you know how it goes! There are some really strange symptoms out there, heartburn is awful! I had really random ones with my first, like skin tags on my neck and congestion! I was snoring so bad by the end hubby moved into the spare room lol. X

@Fredthespider I will also be around 12dpo next monday I think, and am trying to hold out until then. It’s also my first cycle and I don’t think I can take another!

I don’t share every little symptom with my DP but I know he’s thinking about it all the time - he keeps bringing up symptoms I had with our first DS as if he’s checking if I have the same ones again - it’s quite sweet really. He has told his parents we are ttc which I didn’t really want him to do, but I know he is just excited. Now I’ll have my MIL asking about my cycles which is not what I need!

Frizzy1986 · 21/05/2018 21:50

F#*k sake just started with heartburn. I never get heartburn, ever.
Baby 1 it was the one symptom that made me test. Why does our body do stupid stuff like this? Only 7-8 days dpo which is too early right?

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:53

@mostimproved - Oh no, having your mil knowing what's going on! Lol. Got some pretty noticeable cramps / little stabbing things going on! Tell me I'm crazy and that this nothing before I've convinced myself I'm pregs!! I bet it's just wind Haha x

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 21:55

@Frizzy1986 - you never know! It's so hard to not over analyse everything. I really hope this is the start for you x

mostimproved · 21/05/2018 22:12

@Frizzy1986 fingers crossed, you never know! I get what you mean though, logically it doesn’t seem possible to have symptoms yet lots of women swear they have had them and gone on to have a BFP.

@KimRob87 after I had my DS I could still feel kicks even though obviously he wasn’t in there, was probably just wind as well but our minds can trick us! When are you planning on testing?

starsandstuff · 21/05/2018 22:17

@KimRobs87 I know - I'm the same. I'm sure I have a million little nips and twinges all month but I just never noticed before. Now it's because I'm paying such close attention to things they really seem to stand out.

KimRobs87 · 21/05/2018 22:27

It's crazy isn't It! Not sure whether to test Saturday or Sunday? I'll be 10dpo on Saturday. How about you? X

OP posts:
starsandstuff · 21/05/2018 22:44

I'll be 10dpo on Saturday too! (I think) But I'm going out on Friday night so I'm going to test then. Probably too early...but I'm getting slightly addicted to the whole thing already Grin

FoxyRoxy · 21/05/2018 23:03

@Frizzy1986 eek! Although heartburn is awful I hope you've got some Rennie's or something?

Frizzy1986 · 22/05/2018 08:11

It's way too early to feel nauseous isn't it. I get a sick feeling usually if I don't eat breakfast soon enough and taking the pregnancy tablets without food makes me feel it too.
This morning though, Ive had breakfast so it shouldn't be hunger and ate after my tablets so shouldn't be the tablets. Tiny bit of on and off heartburn and feeling sick. Remind me, it's way too early at 8-9 dpo. Wonder if I'm just a bit unwell as some loose bowel movements recently too.
Decided to keep dh in the loop with symptoms and he finds the whole thing amusing. Don't think it means anything until there is a positive test, but at least it feels more like we are going through it together.

buntingandstarcharts · 22/05/2018 08:18

Hi everyone, please may I join the fun? How long has everyone been ttc?

Frizzy1986 · 22/05/2018 08:27

Welcome bunting
I'm only on cycle #2 so very early on in my journey. This will be my 2nd with a daughter who is 4. Dh has been the driving force as he didn't want this big of a gap but I've been holding off until I'm ready.
Caught 1st time with number 1 which was unbelievably lucky so I'm trying to remind myself that it could take any amount of time as its luck of the draw.

buntingandstarcharts · 22/05/2018 09:00

@Frizzy1986 wow first time for your daughter is amazing! I'm so envious! We are on month 6 and I'm starting to get frustrated 😫 During the other months we have DTD every day leading up to ovulation, this month we are going to try to hold off until the very fertile window of 48 hours and see if that works..? Maybe sperm quality will be better? Any other tips?

KimRobs87 · 22/05/2018 10:12

Hi @buntingandstarcharts! It's cycle 2 for me too. This will be my second, have a 2yo son xx

Hi bunting! This is cycle 1 for me, TTC #1 (Dp already has 2 DD). Trying not to get my hopes up but it's proving hard!

Kat90kee · 22/05/2018 10:34

Hi Ladies,

Im going to jump in here if that's alright? I'm new to the site... Sorry if not allowed.

My Last period was 26/04/2018, 28 day cycle. Had Mirena coil removed on 29/03/2018 but always got regular cycle on it anyway.
Anyhoo... not sure when I ovulated. Due AF on Thursday but have been brown spotting (when I wipe and a tiny tiny bit on underwear) since Yesterday. On sunday night I wiped and it was pinkish cm I got, then Monday, brown spotting, today, brown spotting. Breasts feel tender but only at the sides? Mood swing are off the scale and BFN so far.

My questin, does this sound like IB? if so, do I need to wait until bleeding stops before testing again? Or do I count it as started on sunday and able to test now.
Tested last night with FRER and BFN.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :) xxx

Frizzy1986 · 22/05/2018 10:43

Luck! That's what it is bunting We dtd every 2 days from end of af, but you could dtd once and catch. Its pure luck. You don't know what your body is like with regards to conception until you start ttc so it's all unknown.
I've read that as long as its no more than once a day, sperm shouldn't be affected unless there is something underlying. Wish everyone could catch with no issues to stop feeling like you need to analyse every little detail.

mostimproved · 22/05/2018 11:10

Welcome buntingandstarcharts!

This is my first cycle ttc although I did track my cycle, temp and opks etc last cycle to get an idea of it first. I’m ttc#2, my first was an accident 7 years ago so I’m new to this ttc business, and I have had thyroid issues but hoping that’s under control enough to not affect ttc now.

8DaysAWeek · 22/05/2018 14:08

Hello everyone!

I fell pregnant first time with my son. We literally said one day, let's start now. Had sex that night and that was it! Oh if it was only so easy every time.

I'm 6/7dpo now. Getting some symptoms but I think they're just usual rising progesterone symptoms which I'm actually so happy about as it means my cycles are starting to normalise!

KimRobs87 · 22/05/2018 14:34

@8DaysAWeek - I think that's what's going on with me, cramps, backache, tingly nipples Haha! All rubbish hormones xx
