Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment!

@Lilly1207 thank you! I’ve just looked and still a very faint line..
Thought it was strange when I had those really bad cramps yesterday then woke to nothing so had to test...
will update you in morning with fmu :) xx

I used these while we were trying and only ever had any kind of line when I was actually pregnant. The blue dye gives some shady ones that are actually evap or just negatives, but the frer seemed really accurate. Painfully blank when I wasn’t pregnant 😂 xx

@Rose2887 exciting, fingers crossed! I haven't got any more cramps I don't have any tests spare as I've used them all lol! Today is my '2 weeks late' mark so I'll test once tomorrow evening and again Tuesday morning I guess! Xxx

No af is the biggest sign.. I’m just worrying now if I am pregnant what if something goes wrong! Xx

Still a faint line but so faint I’m not going to believe it till it’s darker!!!

@kate123cl do you? 🙈 well I’m not sleeping great which is a sign I had with my dd... so maybe I am!
My dp sat down Saturday and couldn’t work out when I had that withdrawal bleed so im stuffed really... although I’m thinking I’m very early if I am as the line is only just noticeable! How are you? X

I actually think this is happening.. there is 100% a line there... just hope it sticks :) xx

It’s getting darker!

@Rose2887 The doctor said it MAY still be too early to test, hence the negatives. Last night I had very strong af pains so not hopeful at all ☹️ also feel like I have a urine infection today! All very weird! Xxx
