Advice on negative pg tests?

Hey! Just looking for some experience! Has anyone actually been pregnant and took a while to show positive on a hpt? I have a few symptoms and in general feel like I could be! My AF would've been due between last Thursday and yesterday but took a hpt last Wednesday and yesterday and both show negative :( I'm using Superdrug's cheap make. I'm NEVER late for AF so feeling positive. Almost every post I've read seems that everyone tests positive before their AF is due so feeling a bit disappointed at the moment!

lilly no you are not. That's not a faint line in my book. 2-3 more days and that will be a very dark line.

@purpleRH I'm ok just really eager to know! I've read millions of stories about people not testing positive for ages so holding hope! I feel it! Xx

I can def see a line, congratulations! It was only 10 minutes in the bin. I think my confusion was the biggest indicator that I was pregnant!

@Kate123cl no af from Me either, is it me or every time you go to the toilet and wipe Are scared to see blood?
I had pains again yesterday in my stomach and was sure this morning yet again that I would have AF but still no sign! I’m going to wait for the first response test to come then test but I’m also scared that it’s a negative then I’m going to be worried about what else it could be
At least we have each other to talk too, I haven’t even told dp that my last test wasn’t negative

I feel exactly the same every time I wipe! too scared to even go to the loo haha! I thought the same thing last night, felt pains and was expecting AF this morning but far from it! I have plenty of tests but same as you, too scared to test! @Rose2887 I haven't mentioned it to my dp since either! I'm convinced I am and also convinced that you are! Otherwise, I don't know what it could be!? Xxx

I think mine will be negative still... I’m thinking I possibly ovulated later than expected, but still have hope I’m pregnant...

My cramps have eased just getting a twinge here and there.

@Rose2887 I think I will in the morning!🤞🏼I think the same as you, thinking I may have ovulation later! Do your cramps seem worse at night? I've felt fine just very tired! Xxx

Hi ladies. I'm late too! Not sure how many days exactly, maybe one or a few, as not sure when oved. Tons of symptoms and now getting cramps, sickness, and gone off chicken!! Also left my handbag behind at a friend's house the other day and generally feel scatty. Gah who knows?!

Last night I felt a bit sick 🤭 maybe hormonal... but maybe the start of something? I’m just not sure... dtd though too... we hadn’t since Sunday so thought we would up our game

All I’m going to say is... no af, can’t be ruled out!!! I really want this but also I know it will happen when it’s meant too.. I did read it up on average it can take woman months, but it’s the symptoms that are the weird part..
If I do get af least I’ll know when I’m
Ovulating but every day I wake up and it’s not here I’m pleased
I’m going into town today so thinking may grab one from Poundland.. anyone tired these?? I’ll also get some of there ovulation sticks too xxxx

@Rose2887 I used the really cheap boots one! Pink dye, just really disappointed! true about AF! And I've only been trying for 1 months so wasn't expecting anything to come of it! That's probably a good idea to get one in town! Tide you over until the first response one lol! Kind of wishing either way to either be pregnant or get AF just so, like you, I know when I'll next be ovulating! Might also get some ovulation sticks, never used them before! xxxx
