Hello everyone!

Starting an April thread because I couldn't see one yet.

I'm 33 (for another week!)
TTC baby number 4
Cycle 3
CD 3
BFP due 11/04

AF is nearly over here, I'll actually be fertile when DP is off work this month which helps. If I get my BFP this month I'll be due in the middle of December.

I'm invoking Murphy's law this month. I'm bound to get a BFP the week before we go for a child free week's holiday right?

@bubblybrit don't know which is better to be honest, I'm freaking out alone (apart from you guys) as we haven't told anyone we are trying in an attempt to keep the pressure off...clearly that's working really well! With you and @FrowningFlamingo as an only child. DH is too so it's all on us! X

Same here helbel, DH is the only son of an only son of an only son, too!

@helbel42. We haven’t actually told anyone that we are ttc but the pressure is still there surprisingly! Mostly from my parents it must be said x

Feel for you @bubblybrit that must be tough! I think my parents are the opposite, I have ankylosis spondylitis which is very well controlled but leaves me exhausted so they worry for me and never want me to take anything else on but the heart wants what it wants!

@Owlpatrol yey! My older man is being a bit too calm and mature about the whole thing though where as I'm floating between super excited and hugely worried with a splash of insane obsession with temperatures and sticks I can pee on! x

oooh all sounds promising ladies glad I'm not the only one although my cm has stopped now...it was just a bit bizzarre last week and anything out of the ordinary is intensely magnified in this game! Fingers crossed for us!!

ps when are you both testing? I've lost tabs theres quite a few of us on this bus - I'm at least holding out to the weekend -I haven't bought any tests yet on purpose

...oh yes have a look at the time...yep I've been awake since 4am obviously pregnancy insomnia (I wish)

@Sammy900 it does but I swore blind last month that I was pregnant and used 2 tests before AF was due only to get 2 BFNs. My husband has taken the remaining tests away and keeps them in his car so I can't POAS early!! AF isn't due until 18th so FX for us both. Have you got any children already? I've never had a BFP and don't have any children so feel like everything is all in my head and I'll never know otherwise!

Woken up feeling grotty, like AF will be showing very soon. 11 dpo, but feeling sick and low belly ache. Might have to cave and POAS as my hopes are rapidly diminishing, want to know one way or the other!

@helbel42. What are parents like? Don’t think they ever stop worrying though no matter how old you are x

@bubblybrit thankyou! Fx for you too. I know exactly what you mean. I was convinced I would finally get bfp last month and was totally gutted when af came instead. It's so hard when you have a million symptoms and they are just the stupid witch. So sorry for the bfn but you're not out yet. Has af stayed away? And enjoy your birthday!

Morning fellow crazies! Is insomnia a symptom?! Keep waking up at 4:30 am with slight heartburn. I’ve got mild cramps and gas (don’t read too much into it, don’t read too much into it, don’t read too much into it)...

@Boboelephant. I’ve had some spotting this morning so definitely think that af is on the way! Kinda wish she would hurry up and disappear just as quick. Then I can focus on more baby making lol 🙂 thank you. Having a quiet morning and then DH is taking me out for lunch. Very spoiled as having a family lunch on Sunday as well. Will def be having some wine now 🍷 x

@LookingAtTheStars89 got my appt at the infertility clinic on Monday!!! Got a cancellation so I'm so happy about that!

Doesn't look like I ovulated this month so I'm sad about that! DPs GP thinks they're gonna go straight to IVF due to my PCOS and him previously being on TRT 😣

@xLauraa. Ah there you are! I tried to tag you a few days ago. Sorry for being dumb for what is TRT?

Wow, lucky for the cancellation :-) My appointment is April 30th, so not much longer. IVF with ICSI has been mentioned to us because of DH's morphology. I was mortified at first but I think if we had to then it would be ok. I've done a bit of research and Prague looks like a good place to have it done. It's a little daunting though!

You'll have to let me know how you get on at your appointment x

@Sammy900 fingers crossed! It’s hard not to overanalyse every little symptom haha 🤦‍♀️ I’m planning on testing next Friday or Saturday! I’ll be 11-12dpo (if I can wait that long ) when do you think you will test? I hope there are lots of BFP’s soon! 🤞

@frowningflamingo @bubblybrit @helbel42 @owlpatrol I hear you ladies. I am 34 and husband just turned 44, I also put my career first (well retraining) and thought it would be easier than this to conceive, naively. But we will all get there I'm sure. X

DH has thoroughly cheered me up on my birthday! He was supposed to be away with work for a few days but called me from the airport this morning....he is flying home to take me out for a birthday lunch! Will need to fly back later this evening but feel very lucky given that I was so down in the dumps with the bfn yesterday!

Hoping to hear lots more BFPs on this thread xx

Still about 9 days till af is due here. Must not test. Must not test. Must not test.

@Pob13 I'm in the same boat - AF not due until next Weds. Husband has removed all tests from the house so if I want to POAS I'll have to go and buy more and have a secret stash in the house!!
