March bus - bfp’s welcome.

AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

Nothing much to report here. I've actually been having more tough times we've only managed to dtd once but not yet had a positive opk I think I'm around cd10. We've also been arguing and I dunno just feel so pants and probably out this cycle Sad I'm trying really hard not to give up hope. I also really want a glass of wine (sound like an alchy!) But I'm trying no alcohol to ttc this month as well boooo!!

Aww big congrats @taylor1027, it's been such a long wait for you but I can imagine you're little bub is already treasured!! I'm on cycle 8, AF due on Monday. Have a feeling we'll be on cycle 9 soon but your story has shown me it's important to be patient and the wait is well worth it Thanks xx

Thanks everyone :) Not sure I'll believe it's true until the first scan though, haha.

It was definitely a long road and I think it was the most tough for me at the year mark and then fertility appointments, but in the end we conceived naturally. Thinking of you all! x

Not much to report here either. I'm 4dpo and already going nuts comparing charts from my BFP last month. It's going to be a really long wait!

Nothing to report here really. CD15. Think I May have played on CD13 and we had a good run of STD in the days leading up and that day. Have defended in to a terrible cold and a lot of germs since so not more STD for us whilst I feel so awful, and I can't quite pull off my lost voice as a sexy husky come hither voice either 😂 Am hoping we may have just caught OV, which would be fantastic as I don't think it happens every month and my cycles are sometimes a bit all over the place. Time for the TWW for me, though am wise enough not to get my hopes up after 42 cycles to concieve DD1!

@LookingAtTheStars89. Pretty close to testing now! AF due between 10th and 14th March. I’m trying to hold off until 14th March....although I stupidly tested on the 7th as it was our wedding anniversary. No surprise that it was a BFN! How’s you getting on? Xx

CD21 for me only 7 days to go till AF hopefully doesn't arrive. I've woken up this morning feeling very nauseous which isn't normal and had cramps for 2 days but that seems to have stopped now. Just had a wee and managed to not poas, trying my best to hold out!

Can anyone tell if my chart gives any signs away? I'm an amateur at this

Period came today. Feeling fed up. On only cycle 2 but I happened so quickly last time and I can feel my age gap getting bigger. My boys will be 4 & almost 6 by the time I end up having a baby. Irrationally annoyed at DH for making me wait for long. What if it doesn’t happen happen. I have a history of Eating disorders and has a bit of a lapse last year. It wasn’t too bad , was only a little under weight but what if I’ve broken my body from other behaviours. What if it doesn’t happen again

@Wingingit321 I know it'd hard. I am on cycle 8 TTC#1 and I have no idea if I even have the ability to have kids. All you can do is say 'if it's meant to happen it will happen'. There are so many options now with medicines and ivf. Cycle 2 is incredibly early, and you know you can conceive as you have done so twice before. Try to keep going and keep having hope. I know it sounds so corny but what will be will be, and it will most likely have nothing to do with any actions you have taken. Conception doesn't do logic, it seems to just do chance.

@bubblybrit Ooh fx for you :-) Stupid BFN's! I never even got the chance to do a test last cycle as flo arrived after 26 days - not sure what that was about. I'm fairly sure I ov' d on cd14/15. My cm seems to have done a vanishing act though! I've barely had any at all!

@LookingAtTheStars89. I’m not feeling hopeful as got some cramping so think AF is well and truly on the way! Are you still using OPKs? Think I’ll need to go back to using them as dtd eod during my cycle is way too much! Lol 🙂 Which CD are you at now? X

Just checking in ladies! I've been terrible and not been on in ages so it's took a while to catch up!
So nice to see a few BFPs😊

Got my results from my scan and I've been diagnosed with PCOS and waiting for referral to Gynae as my GP thinks it could also be Endometriosis 😣 I'm absolutely gutted but at the same time I'm glad I know where I stand. Had lots more bloods done to see if I'm ovulating and to check my hormones again etc....

@xLauraa. I'm sorry to hear that. I think I am in the same boat! I had my scan on Monday and the notes that came back from the scan said "Consider doing a hormonal profile" The sonographer also said there were definite signs of a hormonal imbalance. Surely that can only mean PCOS as how else could you see a hormonal imbalance on a scan?? I have to have a day 21 blood test done again on Thursday to see if I'm ovulating. Are you ovulating?

I've already had a load of other hormone tests which all came back normal, even testosterone.

@Bubblybrit Don't count yourself out with cramps. My body feels different every cycle lol. I'm cd16 of ???? days lol, could be 26 or 46 Confused lol.

@LookingAtTheStars89 have you got a follow up appointment with your GP to properly talk about that or have you already had it and they just haven't said it's PCOS yet (if it is)?

I have my day 21 bloods on Thursday, and I had some bloods done on CD3 too. GP said to just come see her after both lots have been done rather than having to have 2 appointments so will find out if I ovulated when I next see her on the 21st March! If I haven't ovulated I'm not sure if they'll just keep testing or anything.

I too have already had bloods done and they had come back fine - I didn't have testosterone done though coz they have to do that separate don't they? - but the GP that sent me for those didn't send me on a specific day apparently that's why I'm having to have them done again!😣

Hope you get some answers soon! Keep me posted! It's nice to have people to talk to about it!

Hi ladies wonder if you can help me out. I got a smiley face on my OPK (Clearblue digital - not enhanced) today - does that mean I ovulated today, or I am most fertile today so ovulate tomorrow...? Thanks

@xLauraa. A Dr I saw a few weeks ago said that he doesn't like to solely rely on blood tests, he likes to have info from all aspects and he seemed dead certain it was pcos because I'm chunky and hairy Grin lol. Do you get hair where women shouldn't have hair?

I haven't had a follow up yet, I've only spoken to the results line lady. She also said that as I've only been trying a year that I can't be referred to a fertility thing for another year but surely if something comes up like I'm not ovulating then they have to do something because obviously you can't get pregnant if you don't ovulate lol.

I will have my day 21 bloods done Thursday, which will be back by Friday so I should imagine I will have an appointment the week after that. I have a smear test on Tuesday so I will ask the nurse to check all's well down there too lol.

You can write as much as you like, it is nice to feel like you aren't alone! It feels like an uphill battle at the minute as DH sperm sample showed 97% abnormal sperm :-(. I was hoping if there was going to be a problem then it would just be me.
