March bus - bfp’s welcome.

AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

@lookatthestars89, yes I had accunpucture for fertility. I had it weekly, from Nov 15 - early Feb 16 & had a bfp in March 2016.

@owlpatrol I was hoping It was your time. I saw my dr and mentioned I was planning on ttc & luckily she was quite proactive & ordered bloods, found out I had PCOS. So it’s definitely worth speaking to a dr, I saw a specialist after whom said I may benefit from clomid & whilst I was waiting for the referral I got a bfp.

The month I am taking well woman, vitamin b6 and Agnus castus (which is supposed to regulate cycles) xx

I am new to all this but seems like a nice supportive bunch on this thread. Keep going @Owlpàtrol got everything crossed. Roll on the rest of the month so we can DTD and opk etc. I am slowly familiarising myself with the acronyms lol

Can I ask do people do the smep method or wait until fertile week? Have tried both but after smep I ended up with chronic cystitis and last month tried DTD just on/around ovulation but clearly didn't do the trick. It does kill thee passion a bit doesn't it!

@Roobles79 thanks chick. I've tried smep and it's hard work! It felt quite regulated to me but I try to follow the theory behind it and go from there x

Also I followed it to the tee and still didn't get preggers!

@Owlpatrol. Lol ahhh three weeks. I'm so over dtd lol. Don't get me wrong, dh is great at what he does but with long cycles you get the point where it's like really? again? Sometimes you're really not in the mood or you're really tired.

@Lulemon7. Welcome aboard! Try not to worry too much, I've only ever used rain coats but I've heard from the other ladies that it can take a while for your hormones to settle.

Opks have been negative this month - after really weird period last month - only two days long?? Hopefully next cycle will be somewhere back to normal!! Af due in 10 days

Welcome @lulemon7 I had the Mireya out a year before ttc then it took 7 months but a friend fell pregnant first month after having it removed.

I have been taking folic acid but going to switch to a preconception vitamin and get DH to take wellman.
Feeling a little dishearten this month, i know 4 cycles isn’t long ttc but didn’t think I would become so focused on it.
Also haven’t told anyone that we are ttc so feeling a little lost on who to speak to and ask about anything.

Cycle I’ve stopped counting, it just upsets me

Af is due on Monday and I’ve had a FRER that couldn’t be any more negative so I’m out this month. It’s hit me so hard this month, I just can’t stop crying this morning. I’m pretty sure a little piece of me broke this morning staring and that one lonely pink line.

But...dp has agreed to throw everything at it next month, he’s seeing how much this is starting to hurt me. I’ve never ttc before because I wanted to wait till I was with the right person so don’t even know if I can get pregnant. So opk’s and temping it is!

Sorry for the depressing post, feeling rather sorry for myself . Anywhoo... can anyone recommend a good thermometer? xx

@LilyLolo81 I use a cheapie baby med one it drives dh insane 😂 because it beeps lol but I say all they have to do is wack it out and we have to do all the hard work!

Boobs are still really sore this morning cd4 which never happens so progesterone must be taking a while to ease. Argh! Cannot wait for af to be over

I lurk on a few threads and I’m really sorry to see you here, I know it sounds a bit stalkerish but I had my fingers crossed for you last month! Fingers crossed for a quick af for you! Owl my boobs were hurting me prior to AF arriving (first time I’ve ever had that PMS symptom so of course I thought I was pregnant! Ha) and then they stopped hurting the day AF appeared and then started hurting again yesterday. So annoying!!

@LilyLolo81 haha don't worry I'm a major stalker 😂 thank you for the support it really meant so much last week. It's so weird how much a difference a week makes! Hope everyone has some nice plans this weekend xx

I've had a thought, last cycle was abnormally long for me and af has been lighter and shorter than normal. Do you think that might be a sign I didn't ov last month?

@Merrz. It's a possibility..its normal not to ovulate sometimes though x

@Owlpatrol. I literally never get sore boobs - ever. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me lol.

@LookingAtTheStars89 well I suppose the good thing about that is when you get your bfp you should get sore boobs as an early symptom indicator?! Fx x

@Owlpatrol. Ah yes there is that! I'm on cd8 now so nearly time to start dtd again. Had a quickie practice run tonight, I say practice because we had to use trusty old Durex Strawberry LOL stupid early cycle dryness! (Sorry for the tmi)

I'm supposed to be cutting out sugar this cycle and dtd always makes me want chocolate!

Haha not too much tmi lol I can't wait till I get to cd8 again. Might dtd tomorrow cd6 as af finishing (shorter this month which is great) however I have to de fuzz and that feels like too much effort 😂 I might actually get some lube this month and may treat him to some Valentine's undies haha

I am cd2, I am exhausted and very heavy! Roll on cd 7 when it will be over... oh wait I also have smear that day... the joy! I am following SMEP this month too x

@Owlpatrol. Lol at de fuzz. I was planning on doing that myself but dh was impatient We will start "for real" on cd10. I will probably ov no earlier than cd18 so I don't need to start as early. I don't like to leave it any later than cd10 though, just in case I have a random short cycle!

@Woody096 Yeah my flo was really heavy. It lasted a little longer than usual too.

Hi girls I just got major baby bombed by my ex's sister....shes young and immature and probably got pregnant first go. And I'm like why am I even bothered about my Ex's sister in the first please!?! Oh yeah because it reminds me again of my failure to get pregnant argh! I can't even be angry nor dare tell dh! Why am I letting this bother me!!!! Ps thanks for letting me rant

@owlpatrol, rant away! Completely understandable. No doubt one of those who ‘weren’t evening ttc’ 🙄
