This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

Thank you so much! I can’t believe it. DP is so excited, I’m still slightly freaked out Grin

@Emilyrose1290 @AaronPurrSir any other symptoms ladies? I'm worried about cramps...testing in the morning

Report
AaronPurrSir · 21/03/2018 19:02

@owlpatrol weirdly, not very many. My boobs have been sore but I get that every month for a week before AF. I’ve had some short, sharp pains in my womb the last couple of days as opposed to the full, dull achiness I usually get pre-AF.

I had what I’m now sure was an implantation bleed yesterday but I’ve heard very few women get this so don’t rely on that. Weirdly, my mood has been great - today I had loads of energy, good mood and feeling fab. Which I wouldn’t have expected, I would have thought I’d feel exhausted and drained. Maybe that’s to come Grin

Oooh great sounds good to me. I'll be clinging on to this! I've got mild cramps and wondering if they are getting worse or not. We shall see tomorrow! I had a bad headache today but it's eased now x

Omg congrats @AaronPurrSir that’s amazing!!!
@OwlPatrol hang on in there! I have had cramps too but on and off as opposed to af cramps which tend to stick around. Other than that I weirdly feel just normal! Did another poas tonight just to make sure and a solid positive so totally over the moon. @OwlPatrik you still poas tomorrow? X

Report
AaronPurrSir · 21/03/2018 19:26

Absolutely everything crossed for you @owlpatrol!

@emilyrose1290 I’m doing another poas tomorrow morning with FMU, hopefully there’ll be a much firmer line!

Btw I did an internet cheapie after the FRER and there was only the tiniest, most negligible squinter of a squinter as opposed to the clear line on FRER. I think the cheapies are a bit shit and a waste of time!

Owlpatrol · 21/03/2018 19:27

Yeah I am on an ic unless I get a faint positive on that then I'll be running to boots!! Positive vibes....

Tefiti2 · 21/03/2018 20:27

Hope you have to run out to boots tomorrow @owlpatrol :-)
8dpo BFN today, will wait until Fri and test again!

I've still not POAS cycle day 31 but my DP upset me earlier by saying that maybe a pregnancy would mess up our lives right now, we still need to save for a deposit and I'm just about to start a new job. It really hurt me, do you think he's just getting cold feet or is he really hoping I'm not pregnant? Sad

Report
AaronPurrSir · 21/03/2018 23:42

@reiofhope I don’t think there is any such thing as a “good” time to have a baby. The same could be said for me and my DP, we’re not married (engaged though) and don’t own a house, just rent. But I’m going to be 33 this year and I didn’t want to wait another few years before we’d achieved those things. Weddings and house buyings can happen at any age. Job moves can happen any time. But for me, this couldn’t wait. If you love each other, have good support and are financially ok, everything else is just extra. You’ll make it work.

Same here @ReiofHope there is no perfect time. For me and my dp also not married but engaged and I call him my dh on here
..hes as good as lol! He has had a type of cancer diagnosis which although is not aggressive means that everything is bought into perspective. He's older than me as well (don't worry still a spring chicken!) So there's never going to be a good time for us. But one thing I can say is that I'll be onto cycle 16 now BFN this morning Sad booking doctor today and I thought it was going to happen so much quicker and it hasn't so you look back and realise I could almost have had two babies by now! And I'm trying so hard to still "live " while ttcing

I’m officially in the 2ww now, 1 dpo. Not feeling massively optimistic as dh and I only managed it twice O day and O-3 so we’ll see.

Sorry to hear that @OwlPatrol, but you’re not out til af arrives!
Me and OH engaged but not married too, just bought our first house and it needs a lot of work doing, so I agree no perfect time!

Sorry to hear that @owlpatrol Sad it’s not over til the red lady sings though!

@ReiofHope even when things do seem perfect it can go horribly wrong. After we got married we moved into a 3 bedroom house (rented) and had one last big holiday before settling into TTC #1 but lo and behold the day that I announced my pregnancy my landlord got in touch and told us they were putting our house on the market. Had to do viewings with a week old newborn and I think it put off the viewers when they realised they would be booting us out as tenants lol. Fast forward a few months and we miraculously got just enough together to put an offer in ourselves (£15k below asking price) and they accepted. We now own the house! You really cannot predict what's going to happen.

Sorry about the bfn @OwlPatrol keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼
I did another test this morning, used my last FRER and it was a bfn. So confused and so upset. I was sure this was it but obviously not Sad

@LookingAtTheStars89. I used to love travelling for work. Not so much when ttc though. Keep trying to cut back on time spent away from home but not successful so far. Still big fat nothing on opk. Not even a flashing smiley!!

@owlpatrol. Yeah sorry I’ve been a bit quiet. Wasn’t really able to access MN whilst working abroad. Was working 14 hours a day so any free time was spent sleeping! Lol. How’s work with you? Sorry to hear about your DHs diagnosis. Hope he recovers quickly and I’ll keep my fx that you both get that BFP soon 🙂!!

Sorry to hear about the bfns @hayleyfx and @owlpatrol want dpos are you? Maybe it’s still a bit too early?

I’m really going to try and not symptom spot this month I don’t remember noticing any symptoms with my first a couple of years ago I do remember not getting a bfp until about 13 or 14 dpo so going to hang onto that when I test early this month and get a bfn!!

@bubblybrit I travel a lot for work too & generally do enjoy it but it’s hard not to start resenting it when it falls over the fertile period.

Sorry @owlpatrol - understand how frustrating it is! Tested and another BFN... determined to leave off til Saturday now where I’ll be 11DPO, AF not due til Monday.
