AF arrived today so I am now hoping for a March bfp.
This is cycle 6, ttc #2. Aged 32.

Never started a thread before, so hopefully you will join & we can symptom spot together!

The bleeding had stopped until we just had sex and now I've had some more so I think my instinct that it's cervix bleeding might be right.

I'm going to try to see the GP tomorrow anyway.

@hengine I've had nothing from them yet, it was only late Thursday I applied though so I suppose I just need to be patient! AF is just finishing as well so wouldn't be able to take part for a few weeks...FX I won't have to do it at all if all goes to plan this month!

If you’re early in your cycle they might send it straight away, I had to wait for AF to start before they sent me the pack out cause when I applied I was late in my cycle

I'm off to see my GP tomorrow just to check that I'm ok to ttc whilst on my sertraline meds. (I'm pretty sure it'll be fine, but it's worth getting an official thumbs up.)

Have decided to try SMEP this month as it just seems like a very sensible approach. I'm not going to tell DH, though, as he'll think I'm going all weird and he might feel too pressured...

Quick question re: temping: do you need a thermometer that measures to 0.01•C? Mine only does 0.1, but I'm reluctant to shell out for another if I don't really need to!

I am not sure @kiltedsheep. I have not tempted before, I am guess you would still see a change in temp with both.

Took an opk today and now negative so hopefully I ovulated yesterday and we dtd a few times to be sure! Now entering the dreaded 2ww. How are you feeling today @owlpatrol?x

I’ve tied SMEP for the past few months now I’m just going to try sex EVERYDAY throughout...wish me look ladies😅

I’m also going to add in Q10 and ovary massage, I’ve only got one Fallopian tube due to past ectopic so I’m hoping massage on one side might stimulate my right ovary (which is the one we’re I still have a tube) as I think I’ve been ovulating from my tubeless side x

Anyone tried ovary massage and Q10?

Can I ask for some advice? Any of you that have successfully conceived, is it best to DTD every other day or every day the week of ovulation? I know every man is different but I'm just curious as I don't know what would be best to do this week thanks in advance! Xo

Feeling really blah today. Had another baby bomb. Got more cramps so fairly certain I'm out l may test in the morning to be sure I'll be 8dpo though x

Cammy30 My doctor told me every other day but you could try both! The trick is to already have the sperm waiting on you Fallopian tube for when you ovulate

Owlpatrol Baby bombs are the worst! I had one around the time I would have been announcing my pregnacy (lost it to an ectopic) and it was heartbreaking. Even now she’s on maternity leave I hide in the toilets if she brings the baby into the office - bit sad I know but I don’t want to show anyone how sad it makes me x

Yeah at least two babies with squishy faces to come into work now to feel totally sad about. Can't wait. Dh is lovely he always says it'll be us one day. I'm like yeah right one day. It's also dawning on me that my birthday is coming up and that's when I set a deadline for myself to go to the doctors but I'm so sad about that as well. So moody and sad this week. Who knows could be a symptom right?! 😂

Owlpatrol Im so sorry you feel like this, it’s shit isn’t it! I’m going to visit the doctors in May if we’ve not conceived by then as it will be 2 years (with the ectopic in between) of trying xxx

According to my app I'm expected to Ovulate on Monday so not far behind you...

We were on holiday last FW and DTD a minimum of twice a day (yes really!) and still no luck so taking a more laid back approach this month.

I've been a right depressed nightmare this weekend. Really struggled. My excitement for TTC has turned into desperation. Definitely a big strain on our relationship and we're only 8 cycles in. Hurry up BFP 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh it's all a bit shit this TTC malarkey isn't it? I've been baby bombed twice in the last couple of days. This morning at work too. Although it's my colleague's daughter not her. I've managed to perfect a beatific smile and offer lots of congratulations, whilst quietly dying a little inside. Maybe this is an opportunity to put this training to use, maybe I should take up poker?!
Negative OPK yesterday evening. DH found the used test stick on the bathroom counter as I'd wondered off and forgotten about it and I think he thought it was an HPT with two lines. Had to very quickly set him straight. I'm guestimating ovulation is due about Friday but will keep POAS to be sure.

MissDollyMix Yes it’s rubbish! I have perfected the art of congratulating people on thier baby news, it’s tough but I don’t want to become one of those bitter people 😊 it’s important to try and be happy for others x

I agree MissDollyMix being baby bombed or surrounded by babies is very difficult when TTC, but I think you have the right idea MillieTant2018. We need to try to be happy for other people. My SIL is pregnant now, having never wanted a kid before, after TTC for one month. I sobbed and sobbed, for days, weeks, when she told me but I couldnt be upset in front of her. Even now she sends me updates every second day from her app saying where baby is at. It kills me at times, but she deserves to be happy and just wants me as her friend and the Aunt to be included, the same as when its our turn we deserve to be happy. Its so difficult when you want what they have so badly, but being bitter is harder I think.

I have friends who have been trying for about 2 years, it is so rough on them. Actually, this would be a good place to ask for advice...if they don't get pregnant before I do, what is the best way to tell them gently?

AF is over for me now, ramping up towards FW! DP is not going to know what has hit him! Then you can all collectively sit on my hands for me to stop me testing early. I AM NOT TESTING BEFORE AF IS DUE.

stegosauruslady I would suggest email or text. Face to face or in a group of people might be really upsetting for them xx
