Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

lissie · 08/06/2007 22:00

i know, feel like im 16 and pretneding not to be drunk again

tigerschick · 08/06/2007 22:05

lissie - lovely dress. glad to hear I'm not the only one who has been drinking [hic]

Upsydaisy - a good friend has just moved to Stoney Stanton, her parents live in Broughton Astley. I'm almost as far away as you can be and still be in Leicestershire! Near the Rutland border.

minxy125 · 08/06/2007 22:06

Hi ladies, thanks for all the congrats, they mean a lot. Although I don't think I will leave this thread yet, not after what happened with the last pg, so I hope you don't mind me hanging around??

Hi lissie yeah it has been a while, hope you ok sweets?? you holiday must seem a million miles away now??

plummy my due date is 12 Feb, seems so so far off though. Yes dp very sweet, his heart is deffo in the right place!!

Hi to everybody else, hope you all doing well??

tigerschick · 08/06/2007 22:09

Minxy - that was the best thing about when I was pg with dd. I was 8 weeks when I found out and she came 5 weeks early so, in my head, I was only pg for 27 weeks! It seemed to drag but was better than the 36 weeks most women endure! How are you doing in general?

plummymummy · 08/06/2007 22:14

Tis a hard thread to leave

minxy125 · 08/06/2007 22:24

I know what you are saying tc didn't find out I was pg with ds untill wk 10, cycle was all over ther place, and he came a little early too, I'm ok I think, apart from feeling sick pretty much all day, but hey I'm not gonna moan, I want this so badly and I know there are a million girls that would love to be in my position. Emotionally I think I'm ok, can't stop testing, think its part of really not believing it could happen so quick, it took over a year to fall after last mc. Like I say dp is probably more worried for me, when I had mc to me I was losing a baby, not worried for myself to him he was losing a baby and may lose his wife to be and mummy to his son so I understand where he is coming from, he is just not getting excited just yet. Sorry if this all sounds topsy turvy but that is how I would describe my head at mo!!

You are right plummy is a hard thread to leave!!

UpsyDaisy · 08/06/2007 23:12

tigerschick, I grew up in Rutland, parents live near Oakham. I'll be there Sunday.....do you go to Rutland Water much? I like it there as it's a close to open water as I am going to get at the minute!

tigerschick · 08/06/2007 23:14

Ooh spooky Upsydaisy - db was in the rescue service on Rutland Water for a few years. We're just off the a47 between Leicester and Uppingham - you'll be going past our door!!

UpsyDaisy · 08/06/2007 23:20

I'll wave as I go by......

waiting4bambino · 08/06/2007 23:30

Soph73, yes my dh is of the same opinion as yours - what will be will be etc, I'm not though! I'd do anything to help it along!! Anyway, the docs weren't that much help, didnt say anything i hadn't already heard off here! They have offered me a 21 day progesterone test, however, i couldnt even get an appt for day 21! I hate the NHS!! And to top it all off, AF is due on the day I go on hols!!! Only a pg will keep it away!
BabyBratt - don't give up hope, there's always a way i think - we don't earn that much and I'm working loads of overtime to pay off my credit card before it happens etc! You can't put your life on hold just because your bus partner is pg already! She will have to support you and vice versa etc . Just keep doing it and don't let anything spoil this amazing time for you! Good luck!

plummymummy · 09/06/2007 13:10

My sister in law lives quite near Rutland Water and we've been a few times. Lovely when lambs are in season frolicking about

plummymummy · 09/06/2007 13:11

Though dh spoiled it when I said how cute they were by replying "um very tasty looking"

lissie · 09/06/2007 13:14

hi all, lol at plummys dh, waiting, its frustrating isnt it?

well got letter from the specialist today and apparently if my tube is ok on mon i will be on 100mg clomiphene, anyone used it? is it the same as clomid?

plummymummy · 09/06/2007 13:30

I am a hypocrite though cos I like the taste of lamb Don't know anything about it Lissie but hope others do. It's goog that you are getting some action though. It makes you feel better when things are moving doesn't it.

plummymummy · 09/06/2007 13:31

good

tigerschick · 09/06/2007 19:18

lol at your dh plummy
Isn't it odd that 3 of us know the same area quite well. I'm about 11 miles from the water and db lives about a 3 minute walk from the south shore.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend ... lots of sex, no periods and just a little testing

plummymummy · 10/06/2007 10:34

Yes it's a nice spot. We hired some bikes the last time we went. Got very muddy indeed as it was a bit wet.

plummymummy · 10/06/2007 10:35

sis in law lives in Stamford Lincs

McDreamy · 10/06/2007 10:36

I used to live just outside Stamford at Wittering - lovely part of the world. Stamford is a great place.

tigerschick · 10/06/2007 11:04

Dh's aunt lives in Stamford. It is very nice.
I used to live in Oakham.
Db lives, for the next couple of months, in North Luffenham. But he's moving to Salisbury soon.
We're the other side of Rutland from Stamford, about half an hour away.

BabyBratt · 10/06/2007 15:11

Hi All

I cannot believe how much you miss when you leave the tread for a couple of days.

Had a really great weekend, I have a really sore head we went to the Birdcage in Manchester (a drag club, those guys have fantastic figure) it was full of cheesy music. We had a great time and I manage to dance until 3am. I might be 30 but I can still keep up!!!.

Thanks for all your kind words, I've had a chat with my DH and we have decided to keep ttc but be more relaxed about it until my business partner is 5 or 6 months and like you say we will work something out if it happens.

Im always buying stuff off ebay, I got a great Karen Millen dress for £40, there is something fantastic about a bargain.

scorpio1 · 10/06/2007 18:39
